That dude leaping out at Miss Ross must have terrified her...good to see her survival instinct kick in and she bit him. You can take the girl out of Detroit...but a graceful turnaround!
I've never heard or seen anything like this -- the overly excited, scary fan and her instinctive reaction. I've heard that so many performers don't go into the audience because of their fear something like this could happen. But Miss Ross always has. She handled it -- in an unexpected way -- and then realized he was just an overexcited fan.
Evening With and Caesar's Palace 1979 get the attention among fans but the 1973 tour is sensational. Simple, elegant production, an interesting song set and fresh, clear vocals. I love this clip and the Royal Albert Hall performance. It's interesting to see her perform ANMHE here. The song is no longer new but her now 42-year arrangement with Do You Know does not yet exist. So she sings it in the middle of the show and sits down during most of it. I wonder if she thought it was just a recent hit and didn't yet realize how iconic a song it was. It's really surprising to see her so casual about what is today her signature song.
EASILY. MUSIC STYLES CHANGED.. AND MISS ROSS CHANGED WITH THEM... AND... FOR THE RECORD THE EATEN ALIVE SONG AND ALBUM ARE AMONG SOME OF THE BEST WORK SHE EVER DID.
Watching Diana fly and grow through the years has been one of my greatest joys. Thank Holy Goodness for this gift we've had through Diana....

Beaux souvenir, j'étais spectateur au théâtre des champs élysées.

Why on earth do you need a giant Diana Ross head dominating the screen throughout, let alone 'Live in Paris 1973'? Isn't your red tag enough?
Definitely Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a soloist
She is my favorite, call me my look a like sister
I love LSTB era

I was at her concert once towards the front row and some crazy man and another woman were just like that guy. Luckily she had security.
Was “I’m still waiting” not in this show? Idk why I remember that it was!
@Uptown Nay Rob
How we go from this to Eaten Alive?
Micheal Jackson

Lol funny remark. Yeah that wasn’t my favorite song though Chain Reaction and More an More were vintage Ross.
we knew miss ross was calling that guy all kind of gay slurs under her wig !
Why do you think Miss Ross is a homophobic person? Besides this was an attack. He should have been kicked out and arrested.
Lmaoo underrated tweet

This is 1973 and not 2022!
Super Awesome
