No offense to Cobra Kai, but you can't convince me this fight wasn't ripped straight outta Rocky 4; Creed vs. Drago. Obviously, it doesn't have the same end result, but the sequences are striking. Axel stays on defense, Robbys strikes don't seem to affect him, and of course, he doesn't begin fighting back until Wolf tells him to.
It's probably inspired by it like the scene where Miguel/Samantha/Robbie cheered at the top of the steps. Makes sense too as The Karate Kid and Rocky were directed by the same person.
Axel is a machine, but so was Barnes in the third film, and Daniel found a way to win in the end. If this tournament continues in part 3, either Robby or Miguel will find a way to beat the guy. Somehow.
I think Axel will be especially affected by Kwon's death and will believe that he killed him. Although Axel did attack Kwon, his actual death was not his fault. I don’t think this going to matter to Axel and he is still going to blame himself. As result, he is going to lose a lot of his discipline and dedication and is probably going to regress as a fighter. However, he would still be on everyone else's level.
That or Robby will stop being intimidated by axels size and power and he’ll regain his focus and balance and defeat him. Robby just looked scared after getting a few hits in and looks like he lost his confidence and focus just Daniel did against Barnes.

@@dannykid673 I don’t think it is personally, but from an outside perspective it could be seen as humiliation since these four captains are supposed to be the best of the best of their teams, and to see one get no diffed would have some humiliation behind it, like how Robby negged Kwon.
@@lukasayres5171 oh
Okay Axel must have quite the back story that I would love to see them exploit more.
Because he’s badass af
Omg this episode had me jumping on my couch!!!! This show is the greatest ever!
Axel is built like a fighting machine .
Out of the Miyagi-do kids, Robbie’s most suitable for the pressure points. He should have been taught that.
At some point Axel won’t be able to handle Sensei Wolf’s pressure on him, Axel will breakdown and get defeated because of the amount of pressure, in season 3 someone will land a point on him, wolf would be triggered and he’d put a lot of pressure on Axel which would cause him to lose
Cant wait till Axel turns on his sensei
thats obviously coming. He is too strong for the small timers. His real fight is his sensei and Sam will push him to do it, since she wrecks everyone around him lmao
@digolaverdad7313 sam needs to worry about trying to take down that karate hottie Zara Malik! Or maybe shes Toris problem i guess
I wanna see Axel Robby and Miguel fight and take down sensei wolf that would be badass. Or see Chozen vs Wolf that fight needs to happen
@@digolaverdad7313bro wolf would fold axel easily, also axel can’t even land a hit on robby when he’s on defense
One of my favorite fights this season. Man Axel is like a winter soldier!!!
Anyone else satisfied with Robby’s defensive moves when Daniel said to do so?
Ngl those miyagi do blocks are just clean asf especially with blocking kicks🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Damn, axel got that height advantage. Strong as F
It's great that they brought back the entire cast of this series of movies over time.
What a fun idea! 😊😊
I find it funny that the only beef Axel (the most OP teen) has with Miguel is that he's Sam's bf, let my man date in peace for one season bro😂
When Daniel told Robby to defend at this point it's truly just to survive since Axel scored too many points in a row. But if Robby wants to win he needs to somehow have enough offence to get through Axel's wall-like defence. Curious how the plot goes for Part 3.
He only got hit once in this season which was when him and Sam got jumped by cobra Kai and yoon landed a kick when axel wasn’t focused
He ate that shit tho, didn't phase him at all 🥶
Robby has mastered defense
Robby really is just a different beast, he’s proved that he has the most skill
are you blind? axel beat his asss lmao. only miguel can beat him you'll see in part 3
Miguel, Robby, and Kwon combined to land ZERO hits on Axel. At this point saying only Miguel can beat him is premium glaze
@@TalesofTerror_2 All you Miguel fans surely cried hard, when consetrated Robby prooved himself much better than Miguel when he beat Kwon and at the previous episodes he didn't give his leading bandana to Miguel. Didn't you see how easily Axel was dodging Miguel's attacks at the brawl? Yes Axel was beating Robby as easily as Drago beat Apollo. But the same goes for Miguel.
@@George_Kappa miguel fans didn't cry first of all. robby won fair and square. i give him that. BUT, miguel didn't lose a single tournament if he count. wait for part 3. robby will be on crutches. his right knee will broken. only miguel will able to finish axel. that day, all the robby fans will cry harder cuz robby won't win a single championship ngl.
@@TalesofTerror_2nah, when he locked in with his defense he would on par with axel! but it was not on long enough for us to really know.
This is really the way this is going to go? A full on crowd brawl at what is apparently the karate world’s most prized event?
Whats Cobra Kai without some brawl fight scene on episode 10
Yes, the theme of S6 is why competition is breeding conflict and destroying the compassion for the opponent.
@@Toe-collectorFor real bro, literally every season I wait for either a badass tournament or a huge brawl scene. Didn’t expect both in this season.
Yeah that didn’t quite make sense, where was the security or local police force + audience? Judging how easy it is to start the brawl, it’s funny how this hasn’t happened in all those “previous decades”. Prior to season 6 there wasn’t really an unrealistic flaw in the writing, now there’s too many to count.
When the brawl started tiger strike attacked the tournament staff,so they couldn't reach the authorities but even if they did what will they do?the students could have taken out them forces n continued fighting @akmyths2391
2:00 to 2:25: My Boy Robby Is A Defensive Fighter. He's Better At Defense *ONLY.* He Needs To Learn *WHEN* To Use Offense To Beat Axel.💯
That's Miyagi do and how Daniel and Mr Miyagi always won on og series
No offense to Cobra Kai, but you can't convince me this fight wasn't ripped straight outta Rocky 4; Creed vs. Drago. Obviously, it doesn't have the same end result, but the sequences are striking. Axel stays on defense, Robbys strikes don't seem to affect him, and of course, he doesn't begin fighting back until Wolf tells him to.
It's probably inspired by it like the scene where Miguel/Samantha/Robbie cheered at the top of the steps. Makes sense too as The Karate Kid and Rocky were directed by the same person.
@@Jack_MxMThe whole entire Karate Kid universe was inspired by Rocky, it’s basically Rocky but instead of boxing it’s karate.
Axel is a machine, but so was Barnes in the third film, and Daniel found a way to win in the end. If this tournament continues in part 3, either Robby or Miguel will find a way to beat the guy. Somehow.
In other words, he's Ivan Drago of Cobra Kai.
tbf Daniel's case is a bit of a plot armor because of sudden death, he only had to hit Mike once
Dude I just noticed smth lol, 2:08 in the back where it's supposed to be Devon and Kenny, it's their stunt doubles 😅
Axel is Ivan Drago!!!
If Kenny’s brother learned Karate, axel would finally have a challenge
maybe
Axel would smoke him😂
Potential hint for Part 3 to break Axel's weakness ----- Miyagi Do Defense; Axel didn't land a point when Robby went full Miyagi Do.
@@jaxsontuttle4932 nah mate, Robby was pretty much at full focus here and whilst he held his own (bar the five quick points), he never came close to landing a hit. same with Miguel in the brawl (not to mention Kwon getting demolished over and over again).
At this point Axel suffering PTSD from Kwon's death would be the only reasonable way for Robby to win
Axel = Jiren
Robby = Vegeta
Miguel = Goku
Kenny freezer
Robby seems balance in this fight but he did seem intimidated by Axel's size looking at his facial expression. That said it's gonna take a lot of plot armor for Axel to lose.
I don’t think plot armour really occurs with Robby he truly is a very powerful and elite fighter and has been fighting for along time at this point. Robby is really unstoppable when he’s truly focused and balanced. I think halfway through this fight Axels size and power was overwhelming Robby and definitely intimidating for him. Once Robby gets focused he’ll defeat axel this fight reminded me of Daniel vs Barnes and how he just intimidated Daniel until he got his focus back and won.
@@jaxsontuttle4932 same could be said for Miguel I really do think if Miguel is completely focused and and not distracted he could definitely beat axel I also don’t think plot armor really occurs for him.
@@jaxsontuttle4932Robby definitely wasn't intimidated
@@phillwilliams2781 it looked like he was after getting sucker punched in the face
@@jaxsontuttle4932 more than likely caught off guard...not many people can block Robby's attack with that little effort nor do many people land heavy hits on Robby

Bruh Axel is practically a grown man! He shouldn't be in this tournament lol dude is a young Drago and he's too overpowered
Fr bro is in the wrong sport he should be boxing with that level of hardiness and reach

He could do any sport look at him he’s a gifted athlete by pure genetics alone. MMA, boxing, bjj, wrestling, anything he wants he’ll destroy
He just looks like a grown man lol
2:27 I would honestly be scared of Axel after that
This made me feel bad for Robby axel almost broke his hand and those punches to his stomach must hurt and that punch to his face must hurt to
When robby used only defense axel coudn't get a point
Fan of Robby & he was a bad ass & did good against Axel in defense.
But honestly speaking if the brawl or kwon didn’t interfere,
Axel was about to murder Robby.
Its funny how y'all say robby was "destroyed" just because he got hit 5 times. When he went om offense Axel couldn't even get through his defense, despite having extra power behind his attacks. Robby was ay disadvantage but he wasn't getting destroyed
Bro you just glaze Robby like crazy all the time lmao. No Robby was struggling here
@TheRealRickGrimes ok....
@TheRealRickGrimes tell me where I said Robby didn't struggle
@@phillwilliams2781 "ok" 🤓
@phillwilliams2781 You're literally glazing him saying he didn't get "destroyed" but he was losing. Even his sensei's saw Robby can get through him. I've seen before you glaze Robby a lot since he's your favorite, cool. But don't make excuses about him in this fight because it wasn't working out for Robby
1:30 was scary 😨
1:39 axel was distracted Robby could’ve scored a free point
Axel's a walking tank
Axel is probably on or near sensei level already
“You going to keep defending or you going to fight” like axel didn’t only use defense until wolf told him to attack

The only way to beat axel is getting in his head. Its was working when robby was defending. Frustating axel even made axel complain about it. Defending and strike. In and out.
When robby started using his defense oms he was there, like my gawd stop the glazing
I love how they used a dragon as their mascotte, the dragon power is unmatched, not even a cobra or eagle or anything
The season had some rocky 4 themes in it, ROCKY i mean ROBBIE vs Drago i mean AXEL lol.
This was definitely set up by silver. After he nods Axel he knew what was coming

We all thought Johnny Lawrence and every other opponent Daniel faced was unbeatable. To be axel you but distract him.. the only thing that distracts him is the girl he likes..
Want to see Axel and Miguel fight. We got a RPS rn of Robby beating Kwon, Kwon beating Miguel, but Miguel beating Axel, and Axel beating Robby and Kwon
