    Interesting story.
I’ve never had solar before because when I looked into it I was disgusted by the sleaze. It seemed like they would tell you anything just to get you to sign the contract so that they could collect their commission.
Our rates have gone up so much in the past year that I’m probably going to have to reconsider.

I think solar can save you money if you right size the job. But make sure on the lease buy out conditions strike out the …or market value whichever is higher, part of the clause. I think if the provider is legitimate they should agree to their original buyout price (they are going to do fine financially with those terms) and if they don’t, don’t sign.

Let me guess, SunRun? I have not liked the Net Metering program from day one. We are also in SoCal and cost analysis has consistently shown solar is not beneficial for us. I routinely yell at the solar reps who knock on our door. Yep, that is a problem with resale and the technology changes and buyers don't want to be saddled with old equipment.

My company was solar world. I wish I had the edison bills prior to 2021 when my wife passed and were using a lot more electricity to see if I was saving money. I think we were because we were using a lot of electricity back then. My wife was using an oxygen concentrator.
