Alice and Lilith always had their powers lol. It was Jen and Agatha who came on the witches road “powerless”. I personally think Jen power loss is in her head I think the guy did some kind of pressure point thing and cut off access to her magic but deep down it’s been there the entire time
I heard that too, but I think that's actually her theme from WandaVision (end credits) that also played in the finale when she became the Scarlet Witch. Christophe Beck who wrote it also does the music for this show.
Yes...they did tell us. He's Wiccan. His magic was blue, he has same style crown as Wanda and the song at the end sang by Billie "You should see me in the crown" was such a good choice...it was a brilliant episode, such a pity it was only 30min
Couldn't agree more. Great way to reveal his true identity, tough we are used with bigger announcements and names being dropped. This was very subtle and sophisticated. Loved it though. Thanks for watching 🫶
I think they’re over looking the fact of the sigil. They’re missing previous details. If Agatha was talking about herself when she said “you are so much like your mother” then teen would have not been able to say Nicolas Scratch. Which leaves the only other answer. Wanda.
@@kewlztertc5386 Nobody knows. It's still never been revealed in the comics. However, people often speculate that his father might be Mephisto or another demon due to his name being a play on two prominent old nicknames for the Devil from old folktales, "Old Nick" and "Old Scratch".
Alice has had her powers the entire time. She wasn’t bound like Jen, she just rejected witchcraft because of everything that happened with her mom. In the scene in ep 2 where Agatha tried to provoke the other witches into attacking her in the basement, we saw the orange magic forming in her hands. If the crown and blue magic weren’t obvious enough, Teen is clearly Billy and not Nicholas, because if he was Nicholas the sigil would have prevented him from saying the name aloud. I think that might have been the final confirmation Agatha needed that he wasn’t her son. I think at the end Teen tried to send Agatha, Lilia, and Jen off the Road. In some of the trailers we see Jen crawling out from underground back into Westview, and Jen and Agatha back with Teen looking muddy. There are more trials we haven’t seen yet in the trailers too (like the one where Lilia is dressed as Glinda and Agatha as the Wicked Witch of the West). So it seems all the surviving coven members will be reunited at some point. RIP Alice 😭
you can see Alice using magic while playing the piano in last episode as well. she just doesn't use it because that reminds her of her mother and bad memories in some way :)
I dont think she knows how to actually blast magic. The basement scene was cuz her emotions were getting riled up by Agatha. The piano scene was cuz she was determined to kill the curse. Here, she was being protective of her coven sister, and she instinctively unlocks her potential, looking how how surprised she was when she did it.
@@wytheli which actually supports my (admittedly optimistic) theory. I think Alice instinctively and effectively using the magic she had learned from her mother was THE moment she had proven to herself she accepted her past and processed all that she had learned at her trial. And then she immediately died. I think The Road "killed" her because she had completed her journey. Instead of having to continue through trials. I'm hoping it's notable that the line she sing/kills her curse with is "I'll see you at the end". Arguably Sharons death could have worked the same way. Her trauma being Wanda, her silent trial would have begun as soon as she noticed she was alone with a bunch of witches. However these witches (for the most part) are kind and supportive and save her from the goo. She is clearly letting go of some biases as they get to talking at Jenn's trial. And what does Sharon want? To go to a party. At Jenn's trial she socializes, starts to bond, have a little fun. As soon as she starts downing the second glass she's officially had a "couple" of drinks. Girl has resolved some trauma and enjoyed a party. And then she immediately dies. So I'm hoping having completed their arcs is indicating that their characters "deaths" aren't all they appear. I know it's not conclusive, and possibly too optimistic, but I'm holding on to it till proven otherwise
@@coconutnut6889 in episode 2, Alice and Lillia's hands glow when Agatha is trying to get them to blast her. They've both always had power. Given the curse's bad luck properties, her magic probably always went wrong when she tried to use it after her mom died. She's also the youngest of the witches by far, which makes her death even more tragic. The others have had centuries, but Alice only got decades.
@@kpearce7961 yeah, i wish the witches road doesn't really kill them, it just offers them opportunity to learn and grow (as a group or individual) and once they did, they just send off back to the ground or wait by the end. :D a self-discovery/healing journey.
I don't think I've ever been so pissed at Agatha before, Alice was my favorite witch and I loved her budding relationship with Teen. However, I have a feeling we're not done with Alice just yet and there's more to the events of this episode.
She didn't do it on purpose. Yes, she has goaded people into blasting her but her hands were bound during her trial. She was so young and her coven tried killing her.
@@christianschoff2490 I'm inclined to agree. I genuinely don't think Agatha can control it when she steals another witch's power. It seems like it's an involuntary reaction.
He is Wiccan/Billie. I think he made a deal with Rio/death to fulfil a bargain with Mephisto to get Wanda back. In the comics the boys were part of his soul. It's all really interesting.
It's important to realize both times, she didn't get a chance to do or say anything else between "I can be good" and her getting blasted. With her original coven, the response was "no, you cannot" followed by attempted execution. Here, the response is that she gets possessed and then gets blasted by Alice. So if she truly can't control her magic/life draining, then in both cases, she was essentially forced to hurt people as soon as she tried to say she wouldn't. With the original coven, at least she was defending herself, but with Alice, you can see Agatha seems truly horrified at what happened to the woman who was trying to save her. I think she *can* be good, but she doesn't have full control over that power, and after centuries of people dismissing her side of the story and assuming she's a homicidal monster, she internalized that and is just playing that part. Because if everyone assumes you're evil no matter what you say or do, what's the point in being anything else? And that's... heartbreaking.
It doesn't say he's Billy. But in the comics Wiccan has a metal headband, and they have altered it here to evoke Wanda's Scarlet Witch crown. It's quite a cool design. I can't wait to see the full costume. I hope next week we find out how he went from 10 years old in WandaVision (which was three years ago) to skipping ahead to 16 (or 13 when WandaVision ended). He totally skipped three years ahead and is a different actor. But the blue magic is the same Billy had in WandaVision (and in the comics).
I genuinely don’t think Agatha can control her power absorption. Watching how she acted when she absorbed Alice’s magic, yes she went to grab for it, but once it started it was like her power completely took over her body and she couldn’t stop until either all the magic was absorbed or something had to snap her out of it. Also, she doesn’t have the darkhold, and I notice that she did actually have more control over it when she was using the darkhold, however without it it’s like her power becomes its own sentient force when it latches onto another’s power, and because of the fact that she’s quite literally draining someone’s life force when she takes their power, it becomes a sort of addictive force that changes her. She literally went from “what did I just do” to “now I’m a wicked witch again”.
I agree, but it makes me worry about what may have happened to her son. I mean apart from Teen (who definitely has some magic involved in his conception) all witches and witch lore/iconography we've seen has been very female. Male witches could be so rare as to be almost impossible, making Agatha believe a son would be safe from her power. Maybe we will find out there was magic involved in Nicholas's conception as well
They are not dead. In the trailer we saw how one of them (potions witch) was climbing out of the ground/grave, possible back in Westview. So Teen/Wiccan just sent them out of the witches road.
Matt not many reactors noticed that it seemed to not be Agatha in control when she starts absorbing powers, almost like an addiction. Great reaction guys and yes it’s Billy. They even tried to do a subtle hint with the artist of the name that plays in his reveal, Billie Eilish.
Yes, they revealed him as Billy/Wiccan. We've known this ever since his Funko Pop came out. Yes, Wiccan wears a headband and for this, they've made it a crown.
Once again, I love your reactions to the show! 🤗 🎉 I’ve seen the debate about whether Agatha could/couldn’t control herself when she killed Alice swirling this wk and I’m not sure what to think. I hope this is answered soon & not left as ambiguous. 🙏
I feel like the Salem seven aren’t actually after Agatha, but after teen, they always seem to attack him for some reason. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re being led by someone who wants to take teen’s power since if he is Wiccan from what we saw at the end then he will be just as powerful as the scarlet witch.
I mean, in episode 2, they attacked him because he was, one, the only one the could reach in the moment, and two, actively trying to block them from getting to Agatha. And in the beginning of this episode they said "Find Agatha. Find *them*" implying that they're likely going after the whole coven because they're associated with Agatha.
I think the trial was for Agatha to use the board to contact an important spirit, her son. The coven succeeded in that, but shit was going crazy by that point. Not sure if the mom would’ve been there anyway or if she snuck in with the Salem 7, & if the others could have left Agatha without contacting Nicholas or that would have failed them all.
20:07 I think the reason behind Alice's power is in the title of the episode, "Darkest Hour/Wake Thy Power." Alice is the Protection Witch--she protected Teen earlier in the episode from a Salem Seven Attack and she protected Agatha here, too, with her power. I don't know if you noticed it or not, but Alice always had power--her power was teased near the end of the second episode when Agatha was taunting the witches in her basement to blast her. Alice just completed her trial, a great weight had been lifted, and she was feeling complete, perhaps for the first time. She didn't believe in this coven when their journey began, but she was all in after her trial--they helped her become whole. She was starting to believe in the coven and she stepped up to fulfill her role as the coven's protection. Her newfound love for her coven very likely powered her to full power, which explains her own amazement. I agree with what you said about Agatha not being able to control her power--she said so herself, and I think she was being honest. What follows is just speculation, so no here spoilers. I think MCU Agatha is a mutant like Scarlet Witch. I think she and Wanda have a lot in common--they both have a mutant ability they never learned how to control (Wanda eventually did by the end of her series), though I think Agatha will learn how to finally control her ability at the end of her own series. Why would Evanora Harkness say her own daughter was born evil? Did you catch the date at the start of the episode, 1693? Do you know what was taking place at that time? The Salem Witch Trials! Agatha had crossed the very last line with her old coven, and they were ready to take her out--most likely because she had just acquired the Darkhold (her origin story in WandaVision was tied to that book and Wanda, after all). But that doesn't tell us why Evanora believed Agatha was born evil, just that she did something so evil that Evanora and their coven had had enough. Agatha's body kicks into self-defense mode when she's attacked by Magik (Marvel's spelling for magic), and absorbs all of it like a sponge, sort of like Rogue from the X-Men--she can't control her ability either (if Rogue touches someone for too long, she will absorb their power draining their very lifeforce). Did Evanora receive magical assistance from a midwife while giving birth to Agatha? If she did, Agatha likely killed that mid-wife right then and there. Did Agatha kill all the children around her too when practicing magic in her youth? Sparring with others would have been just as fatal as anyone attacking her outright. Perhaps that is why her coven conspired to attack her all at once. One-on-one was a guaranteed death sentence. Agatha was told she was evil, and her own coven wanted nothing to do with her. What was she supposed to do with everyone treating her like a pariah? There was no Charles Xavier or school for gifted mutants in the 1600s. Agatha likely had to find her own help, and that's probably why she eventually sought the Darkhold. You know, she probably wanted the Darkhold for its infinite knowledge, despite its power to corrupt whomever held it. Do you know how the MCU differentiates sorcery from witchcraft? The former is learned the latter is hereditary. Nicholas Scratch would be no different from Jennifer, Lilia, Alice, Teen, or Agatha! As they are all children of witches, witchcraft is a part of their person. Nicholas was always in danger while around his mother. How would she protect a baby from using its own powers around her? Did she accidentally kill her own child? Did she give up Nicholas to protect him from herself? Did she trade him for the Book of the Damned because she wanted a cure for her mutant ability, her curse? We see how she is when thinking about her son. She's a mother longing to see him again--she's a woman who would do anything to see him again! For 330 years Agatha studied the Darkhold to no avail, until WandaVision ( WandaVision is set in 2023 and this story takes place in 2026), when the Scarlet Witch finally appeared. We know Agatha had been looking for her because Wanda's mutant ability can solve Agatha's problems! Wanda's reality-warping mutant abilities can make the impossible possible--we witnessed that in WandaVision. Agatha, with Wanda's powers, would have been able to undo all the damage she had done; she would have been able to live a peaceful life with her son. She would have also been able to remove every person she had wronged from existence, forever freeing her from looking over her shoulders. Agatha acts like a bad person because her reputation has kept her safe for 330 years, but deep down I don't believe she's the person many believe her to be. I think she's a mutant with a power like Rogue and that she never learned how to control it. She was never given a chance to. Tomorrow's episode should be amazing! It'll likely be Rio's trial. The coven has been consumed by the earth, the Green Witch's domain, and the only one likely capable of getting them out is Rio, their Green Witch. This should be interesting, as she likely doesn't want to. She collects bodies--why does she collect bodies? Why did she laugh here, 9:58? Because SHE is Death? When she introduced herself to the coven, she said she was less a green witch, and that she was THE Green Witch! How fitting for Death to be a green witch--where do we put our dead? In the earth! The thing is Death, cannot leave the Witches' Road without her coven! The Witches' Road is likely more than we think it is. Only a coven (a diverse group of witches) can access the Witches' Road. More importantly, no single witch can complete all tasks. These trials are designed to make witches work together and put their lives in the hands of another. Had witches done that in 1693, they likely could have survived the Salem Trials! Instead, they were hunted down and killed by angry men with pitchforks, fire, tar, and feathers. Witches who survived the Salem Witch Trials ended up like Jennifer, Lilia, and Alices' grandmother, bound, fleeting powers, or cursed. The Witches' Road is trying to help witches thrive again, but for them to do that, they need to become like the sorcerers a Kamar-Taj, united. This is all speculation on my part, so things could go very differently.
WOW, what a detailed breakdown and many theories. Thank you for sharing them with us. Also, great points on Rio. We can't wait to see how it continues. Thanks for watching 🫶
I haven't read the comics so this is just my take from the show and the apparent general sense that Agatha is a very "grey" character, neither purely good nor purely evil. Both her reactions to Mrs. Davis's death and what she did to Alice in this episode (and I suppose you could take it back to what she did to her original coven, too) suggest that Agatha is a villain, through and through. The reason I feel like there might still be something in her that is or wants to be good is that it does generally look like, when Agatha is taking magic from other witches, it's sort of a reflex. What Teen says afterwards about her being able to control it may ultimately be true (if she wants and learns to do so), but I get the sense that the initial reaction may be an involuntary reflex. Then, when the other witches are drained, Agatha just throws up a defensive posture that leans into the whole, "Oh, the world's gonna say I'm evil? - Fine, I'll just act like I'm evil" attitude. And she overdoes it, almost like she's trying to convince herself she doesn't care. Which is also how I read her callous reaction to "Mrs. Hart's" death, asking who "Sharon" was and just blowing it off by pretending there was nothing to worry about, that they should just continue on the Road. It seemed to me like it could be an overreaction to Agatha's guilt for bringing her on the journey in the first place. That said, all of the above is just the most charitable spin I can give things, and if the show is really out here to tell us the story of a villain, well, that can work, too. I mean, _Loki_ is a thing. 😜 Oh, and the Billie Eilish needle drop for the reveal of "Teen"? Iconic.
I loved the ep, except that it was too short. It seems like they broke just about every rule of the Ouija game. Hands came off planchette. Agatha taunted her Mom/spirit. They talked over each other. Teen used the board alone when getting the Nicholas Scratch answer. Teen did end the trial with Goodbye, but alone. I think that when Jen barked out to punish Agatha and everyone started going in on that idea so hard, they may have been possessed by spirit(s) released when Lillia lost hold of the planchette. And I think Teen IS Billy, but was possessed by a spirit when he lost it w Agatha and pushed the others in the muck. If it turns out that the muck is a way out, I wish Sharon had gotten pulled out earlier rather than dying. All in all, fascinating & I can't wait for more! :)
Hey Matt and Panos! 😀I loved so much this 5th episode! 😀 It was so good! 😀So sad for Alice, she just get rid of her curse, her powers were just beginning to appear and she is dead, poor her. Maybe she will come back, we didn't see what Rio did, she was still in the wood house so maybe she did something to Alice...And wow, what a great ending! 😀Wiccan is here babies! Haha😀 Yes indeed Panos, Wiccan/Teen controlled the mind of Lilia and Jen, just like Wanda did in WandaVision! 😀This blue crown was amazing and beautiful! 😀💙 I love so much Wiccan, he is one my favorites male characters/characters in Marvel universe! 😀
Yes this is sad about Alice. Ho yes the show is more and more interesting! 😀 I'm definately looking forward to see the episodes 6, 7, 8 and 9! 😀 My pleasure for watching 😀
The second time they cut to Agatha's face she did how a look of horror like she was trying to stop the power absorb but her "power" has a primal desire to take all there is while Agatha herself tho selfish and cut never wished to go that far. (Tho i don't know what would lead up to this) Agatha's last trip to the road could've been to tame that side of herself so she could be accepted by her coven but ended with her being more power hungry maybe
I assume the 3 witches he killed will come back. Moonknight and loki have crazy twist cliffhangers that get undone or explained. I love the ending of this episode.
There's a scene in the trailer showing Jen crawling out of the ground back in Westview. The mud outside is probably not actually lethal and if you sink in it, you get expelled from the road and gets sent back to where you started
So, based on the ballad being titles of episodes, I'm theorizing the next one is "earthly and divine" Meaning the green witches trial, so maybe Rios trial is resurrection and bringing the last 3 back (dont think alice is coming back sadly)
I think Agatha was totally in control of her power draining abilities. She knew what she was doing draining Alice. She could have stopped at anytime, but she is addicted to having that power. She did instantly stop when Wiccan called out Nicholas's name, she could have stopped at anytime, she just didn't want too. Agatha has always been selfish and out for power.
Agatha and Jen are the ones without power. Jen always had her power, she was in the road to know more "about Mommy". So it is not surprising that she blasted Agatha
Rio lady death took Agatha son, Billy Kaplan was in a horrific car accident and near death, I suspect Agatha is going to free Billy and you’ll have full power Wiccan
Short but good indeed. This episode was rather upsetting, though, but a good reminder, Agatha will be forever evil, and her only goal is more power. Thanks for watching 🫶
Lilia and Alice still have their power (we saw a flash of red when Agatha was trying to bait them in episode 2) only Alice had convinced herself that it wasn't real. That is Billy (Wiccan) and while I understand his anger at both Agatha and Jen really, Lilia might have just got caught in the crossfire. But the question is did he know the whole time, or is this the first display of power, or both, like he wasn't lying ever, but the sigil may be his. I have a newer suspicion though, I don't understand who the spirit was or when and if a second one came in, because what was the Nicholas Scratch at the end, and is it possible that he hitched a ride onto Billy and discovered, oh look magic, and it is something Billy hasn't accessed before even if he was playing a part and it was just too hard when Alice was the only one nice to him
The trial was not to do exactly what a ghost tells you to do, it was to overcome the challenge it presented you and to play Ouija. Teen ended with goodbye after talking to nicholas scratch. Alice kicked her mom's ghost ass. Trial passed. Not sure wtf agatha did to contribute to her own trial other than ef everything up though lol.
Oh I love you boys, but you are so naive. Alice is a protection witch, and as the title says, 'Darkest Hour, Wake Thy Power'. Alice's power awoke to protect Agatha. And just like with her original coven, she automatically absorbed their powers. And like a drug, Agatha wanted more. She doesn't really realize what's she's doing until it's too late. She acts before she thinks, which is why she lost her son. As for Teen, what she meant by 'just like your mother', she meant she sees Wanda as a hypocrite and a monster. She enslaves an entire town to create her own happiness. Never mind the fact that she was torturing those people inside their unconscious minds. Holding their children hostage in their sleep. She used magic for her own means, and teen said that that's something he would never do, just like Wanda did when Agatha faced her. And what did Billy Caplin (aka Maximoff) do? He controlled Jen and Lilia to si his biding, then through them in to just for ageeing with Agatha. Like mother, like son?
We were indeed hoping for a "happier" ending, and had suppressed that Agatha is, and will always be a villain. We want to say there was some remorse in her eyes when she saw Alice dead, but eternal hunger for power will always prevail. Thanks for watching 🫶
If they follow the comics, then Billy is prophesied to become The Demiurge. Scarlet Witch is the living embodiment of Chaos Magic, but The Demiurge is a unique being that has the power to rewrite the rules of ALL Magic (technically, the rules of creation itself) It has always been muddy in the comics, except that, while most powers up to and including Mephisto are wary of Wanda, even the Celestials are terrified of The Demiurge. (if he wanted to he could just erase them so that they never were) I doubt he'll be that powerful in the MCU, but he's still scary AF if youy piss him off.
I’m thinking it’s Wiccan, and if you notice Agatha was acting more like Rio, don’t worry they’re not dead, and I think when he says his name, you’ll hear Billy, now that he has power and can protect himself
@@kewlztertc5386the power she got from Alice is nowhere near enough tho. You can see it evaporating in her hand. Agatha's talking too much smack for someone with no power left. She tried to provoke Billy and probably wanted his magic too but it backfired horribly on her
@itz_ryugu_d8158 i think it's like money. A little money you can work with and gives you confidence, vs being down and out broke. She now has a spark of power, and feels like a witch again.
He has more of a silver headband in the comics. The blue headband matches Billy’s costume in wandavision and teens sleepover outfit had the blue headband as well😂 he throws the 3 off the road out of anger for them basically letting Alice die and not even trying to save her. Hopefully Rio dosnt take her and she comes back.. but the song does say “if one be gone, we carry on .Spirits as our guide”
Yes, he is Wanda's son, he is not Agatha's son because he said her son's name, and he cannot say his own name, so he is definitely not Agatha's son, but Wanda's. His name is Billy. And no one noticed that the green witch was gone, and laughed when they talked about death, death is already with them.
@@justthej Before I knew about the leaks I already knew who She was for these reasons : appeared dressed in black, chasing Agatha, she is not afraid of dying, she laughed when they talked about death, she disappeared when one died, she has very strange dialogues with Agatha, in true style Of death itself. Don't blame people for understanding the episode or for knowing about the leak, blame the person who leaked it.
I started this because Joe Locke is in it, I burned out on the Marvel films and shows long ago. Never read the comics, so these are my own thoughts based solely on this show and old Marvel stuff. I have seen Scarlett Witch’s costume way back in her first Marvel movie, and I think Teen/Toto’s crown looks similar, so I do think he’s Scarlett’s son. When he said he’s not interested in witchcraft/power if it involves killing people, and Agatha said, ‘Are you sure? You’re so like you’re mother’, I presume that’s because I’ve heard Scarlett witch turned evil at the end of Wandavision because she’s distraught Vision is dead, and then killed a bunch of people as the Big Bad in The Mountains of Madness, which I didn’t bother watching. I’m confused why Agatha can recognise him now. I can definitely get why Teen would pitch her into the ground to her death after she killed Alice, but I don’t know why he pitched the other two. I don’t see Agatha dying halfway through the show, so I’m guessing she gets unpitched somehow, and they may as well bring back the other two if Agatha is saved from death by goop. I’m thinking next episode is going to clear up a lot from this one. Isn’t Jen the only witch whose pure elemental power is bound and Agatha’s power drained/stolen by Scarlett? Alice still had hers and she and Lilia were going to attack Agatha in episode two with their elemental power after Agatha taunted them about not opening the Road, but Jen warned them not to because Agatha would drain them. So Alice (and Lilia) can blast people, they just haven’t done so on the road until now, because the trials couldn’t be solved by blasting something, and they all ran from the Salem Seven instead of a confrontation. Poison could definitely not be solved by blasting, and I’m presuming blasting doesn’t work on personified curses? Alice didn’t believe in the curse until she saw it, she’s on the road either to save her mother or find out what happened to her (suggested in episode two) or she came to save herself (her mother told her the Road would save her) as per episode 4. Alice wasn’t ever there because she’d lost her her elemental power, thus she was able to blast Agatha this episode. Teen showed evidence of heaps big power in episode 1 if he was really the one to release Agatha from a Scarlett Witch curse of total amnesia and being locked into episodic television delusions. In episode 2 I picked up on Teen’s capacity for power-move manipulation the way he held Jen’s law suits over her, and how aggressively bossy he got handing out Agatha’s address to Lilia. It was in stark contrast to the way he had been obediently and passively following Agatha around all episode. And throughout ep 2, even though he obeyed, and didn’t object to the names Agatha called him (my pet, and Toto), there were a few times he looked very annoyed or rebellious being obedient or silent. I got the impression back then he was using Agatha deliberately, that he was a good person, but was keeping at least one large secret, and he wanted Agatha to underestimate him a great deal. Episode 3 I thought he was genuinely shocked to learn Agatha sacrificed her child, and could be an evil person. There was something in the way he insisted Agatha drink the poison that didn’t all seem like anger at being disillusioned though. The urgency suggested he *knew* how the road/trials worked, much more knowledge than he was pretending he knew to all the other witches. I mean, the whole fandom knew forever Teen was going to turn out to be one of 3 or 4 big Marvel characters. I couldn’t escape the spoilers on those names. Based on all of episode 2 scenes, and one scene each from episode 1 and 3, it came as no shock that Teen suddenly revealed he already had massive power now, even if I hadn’t been spoiled as to him being a big Marvel character of some sort in the future. Episode 5 ended on such a debacle, that even though a door opened to get out, I strongly feel this was a failed trial. I’m going to go ahead and presume for narrative purposes all trials will be successfully completed, based mainly on the fact that they fetched a second green witch to do the Earth trial with. So for two reasons I’m expecting Episode 6 to somehow unwind at least most of the consequences of episode 5. Super curious to find out how.
About the MoM you said. Wanda didn't turn evil because of Vision's death. The end of WandaVision was about her finding a way to heal and get over the loss of her family, however, she started reading the Darkhold to learn more about her power so she could prevent other incidents from happening. What she didn't know, is that the Darkhold corrupts EVERYTHING, including her, that's what turned her evil. And about the trial door opening on episode 5. I believe the actual practical objective of the trial was to finish the Ouija session, but they failed to see the actual lesson they were being thaught (loyalty).
OMFG!!! I loved this episode!!! I loved the creative process to create and use a broom to fly!!! The trial was totally freaky and bittersweet!!! Loosing Alice was horrible, but Billy’s powers awakening was wicked as was the moment his headwear appeared like his mother with You Should See Me In A Crown!!! 🧹✨✡️👻☠️😭😡🧑🏻🦱👑💜🖤💙🩶❤️ I have a crazy theory that might have cracked the series!!! It all has to do with the Darkhold!!! 🤯‼️📖🔽 🔘Mephisto created the Darkhold in exchange for souls 🔘Rio was sent to collect souls; she fell in love with Agatha and couldn’t take her soul. So she took Nicholas’ soul. When Agatha found out, they broke up as she was broken hearted by Rio’s betrayal. 🔘Agatha obtained the Darkhold to obtain power to bring him back. Her mother and coven found out and tried to kill her for using dark magic, but they were unexpectedly drained of their magic and possibly unintentionally killed by Agatha. For years, she became corrupted by the Darkhold as she studied it. Eventually she met Wanda and discovered her powers and identity being linked to lore of the Scarlet Witch. She wanted that power or at least ally herself to that power. 🔘After defeating Agatha, Wanda began to study her powers and identity in the Darkhold. She became corrupted as she attempted to be reunited with her sons. In the end, she realized the Darkhold was too powerful and too dangerous to exist. With her final moments, she attempted to destroy every copy of it. However only EVERY KNOWN COPY WAS DESTROYED, but NOT EVERY UKNOWN COPIES. 🔘Billy’s spell book was actually a pocket sized copy of the Darkhold he found at the age of 13. As he studied it, he not only learned of his ability to perform magic, but who his true self might be. He would seek out Wanda or Agatha to walk the Witches Road to obtain power to be reunited with his mother and his twin brother Tommy. Unfortunately the moment he found the Darkhold his pure intentions, like many before him including his mother and Agatha, became corrupted as well. If you remember back in the first episode how his fingers were black, and he claimed it was just “ink”. Also he always carried his spell book on him and totally freaked out when he lost it this episode. Maybe he may no longer need it as in his darkest hour, his true magical powers had awakened. As he dons his crown, he becomes Wiccan.
Could someone call Dr. Strange?! We need his time stone. Urgently 😭
This show is playing with our feelings, way too hard.
Thank you all for watching 🫶
Alice and Lilith always had their powers lol. It was Jen and Agatha who came on the witches road “powerless”. I personally think Jen power loss is in her head I think the guy did some kind of pressure point thing and cut off access to her magic but deep down it’s been there the entire time

Note hat after Agatha tells teen "You are so much like your mother", Wanda's theme from Multiverse of Madness starts playing.
I heard that too, but I think that's actually her theme from WandaVision (end credits) that also played in the finale when she became the Scarlet Witch. Christophe Beck who wrote it also does the music for this show.
We noticed it. The OST shifted completely, which was such a nice detail. 🙌
Thanks for watching 🫶
Wanda's theme from Wandavision- Danny Elfman refused to use this theme for some reason in MoM
Yes...they did tell us. He's Wiccan. His magic was blue, he has same style crown as Wanda and the song at the end sang by Billie "You should see me in the crown" was such a good choice...it was a brilliant episode, such a pity it was only 30min
Ppl only know that because of the comics, but it hasnt been said in the show.
All we know is that it's Wanda's kid.
Couldn't agree more. Great way to reveal his true identity, tough we are used with bigger announcements and names being dropped. This was very subtle and sophisticated. Loved it though.
Thanks for watching 🫶
Also his hands had those blue circles around them with his magic like wiccan
i cannot BELIEVE HOW SO MANY PEOPLE DON'T GET IT. IT'S SO CLEAR.
maybe just an act. lol.
Let see how smart you really are.
Who's Nicholas' father?
I think they’re over looking the fact of the sigil. They’re missing previous details. If Agatha was talking about herself when she said “you are so much like your mother” then teen would have not been able to say Nicolas Scratch. Which leaves the only other answer. Wanda.
@@kewlztertc5386 Nobody knows. It's still never been revealed in the comics. However, people often speculate that his father might be Mephisto or another demon due to his name being a play on two prominent old nicknames for the Devil from old folktales, "Old Nick" and "Old Scratch".
Right the majority of reactions people don't get hahaha is weird to me even Marvel putting the crown people don't get it hahahaha
I think she's over. Her arc is done and dusted.
People forgets this is a show about a villain. Characters are allowed to die.

LMAO I paused and laughed too
He is Wiccan/Billie. I think he made a deal with Rio/death to fulfil a bargain with Mephisto to get Wanda back. In the comics the boys were part of his soul. It's all really interesting.
Alice never lost her power, look at the end of episode 2, the sparks she made when Agatha insulted her at the door
Agatha pleading with her new coven the same way she plead with her mother before killing her entire original coven: "I can be good."
🥲💔
This was such a sophisticated reveal! We can't wait to see how it continues 🙌

Yes, they revealed him as Billy/Wiccan. We've known this ever since his Funko Pop came out. Yes, Wiccan wears a headband and for this, they've made it a crown.

Perfect episode with my Wiccan 😭😭💙💙👑
Welcome
Wiccan aka Billy Kaplan
🩵💙
Literally though, Agatha is more misunderstood than evil (small e)!
Love the reactions!!!
Divine mother----maiden ,mother, crone. Or goddess hecate
😱
The divine mother is Hecate.
Great reaction, i love this show sm💙
Sad, but good episode! Can't wait for episode 6.
Thanks for watching 🫶
Yay! Glad y'all uploaded early!
Rio will not have a trial. She is not in the coven. That slot is filled by Billy. She's not even a witch.
@@jondavwal13 We now know that she is not in the coven. But she IS a witch. She said, "I'm THE Green Witch."
Oh, and the Billie Eilish needle drop for the reveal of "Teen"?
Way too short. 😭
Same here. We can't wait for more.

HAHAHA Wiccan has entered the chat
I assume the 3 witches he killed will come back. Moonknight and loki have crazy twist cliffhangers that get undone or explained. I love the ending of this episode.
Well yeah since from the trailer we knoe that Lillia will have her trial, and Jen is going to be with Agatha and Teen until the end
There's a scene in the trailer showing Jen crawling out of the ground back in Westview. The mud outside is probably not actually lethal and if you sink in it, you get expelled from the road and gets sent back to where you started
@itz_ryugu_d8158 they should have let sharon sink rather then pull her up to kill her on the road lol
@@colereed7411 yeah fr but i guess they didn't know
So, based on the ballad being titles of episodes, I'm theorizing the next one is "earthly and divine" Meaning the green witches trial, so maybe Rios trial is resurrection and bringing the last 3 back (dont think alice is coming back sadly)
I really like the episode. I‘m curious how they solve that 😊
I think Agatha was totally in control of her power draining abilities. She knew what she was doing draining Alice. She could have stopped at anytime, but she is addicted to having that power. She did instantly stop when Wiccan called out Nicholas's name, she could have stopped at anytime, she just didn't want too. Agatha has always been selfish and out for power.

That would be so cool, but his challenge will probably be to survive Agatha's rage going forward 😭

Um, actually... the Divine Mother is part of the Maiden, Mother, and Crone Wicca trio.
Alice always had her powers. I just don't think any of the new three are particularly strong witches even powered and at their best.
May Rio just stayed behind so to bring Alice back, pleasssseeee :(
She stayed behind to take her soul.
@kewlztertc5386 I think Rio is just interested in bodies as she stated earlier that she hates Ghost...but are Souls and Ghost the same in the MCU?
😭💙
Not sure wtf agatha did to contribute to her own trial other than ef everything up though lol.
yayy! btw when is IWTV gonna be filmed/posted?
Hey 👋
Starting next week when Agatha All Along will have wrapped up.
Thank you for your patience 🙏
Is Teen/Billy also technically the Sapphire Witch? Like Agatha's Mom was? Blue Crown and Blue Magic.

He has more of a silver headband in the comics. The blue headband matches Billy’s costume in wandavision and teens sleepover outfit had the blue headband as well😂 he throws the 3 off the road out of anger for them basically letting Alice die and not even trying to save her. @@Dhie5604 They haven't revealed Death yet in the show. Leaks don't count.
@@Dhie5604 ok, that's great. You knew. What about those who don't and would rather let the show unravel on its own.
Episode 5 is my favorite episode. The way it ended with teen OMG. I think we all know who he is now
We do indeed! Such a sophisticated way of revealing who he is.

@@therainbowreels and thank you for your amazing reaction

Did yall watch wandavision or wha 😭
We did, many moons ago 🥺
Since Billy maximov being introduced by Billie Eilish, you should see him in his Crown.
Probably one the best character intros in the MCU! Subtle but very sophisticated.
Thanks for watching 🫶
That Crown is everything :D
🧹✨✡️👻☠️😭😡🧑🏻🦱👑💜🖤💙🩶❤️
I have a crazy theory that might have cracked the series!!! It all has to do with the Darkhold!!!

🔘Mephisto created the Darkhold in exchange for souls
🔘Rio was sent to collect souls; she fell in love with Agatha and couldn’t take her soul.
