how do you know how to order the bags in the van so every parcel is from closest to furthest?
@@TiredofEarthmy DSP sends a PDF of the pick list each day that has all the routes and what bags, how many in each as well as what overflow belongs to what bag. Bags on the list are ordered first to last but to be honest it’s not your job to order them. The warehouse team are meant to load them on the cart so that the first bag you load is the last you use and the last you load is the first you use so.
@@Pink-wp2nw imo it should be first you load is the first you use, especially when you load from the back doors, doing FILO makes no sense especially now with it being busy having 17/18 bags + 20+ overflow. It’s dumb
@@matty4432 oh dude tell me about it, my DSP has hired some white sprinters without the middle door as well and they’re absolute hell if you can’t organise the bags easily, had 18 bags and 30 overflow yesterday and it was just chaos the entire day
As an amazon driver myself when it comes to terraced housing i park in the street, someone challenged me the other day and i just said look theres nowehere to park go down another street there's plenty others. It's annoying for them but thats tough.
They don’t have to deliver 250-300 parcels a day, they can take the 20 second detour and sulk about it 🤣
I normally skip to the end to see the part where he’s struggling - satisfying 😊

going back to amazon soon since leaving a few months ago, these videos are making me want to do the nursery routes and then dip. just remembering the packed van is giving me ptsd
Join now so you do nurseries during peak for increased pay , that’s what I inadvertently did last year while other drivers were getting mega routes 😅
What’s a nursery route?
@@moonpie21012 when you first join you go on nursery routes for a few weeks that are just a lot less stops and parcels and then this gradually increases to get you used to the process and the area :)
@@moonpie21012basically less parcels and stops so easier routes for new starters but after 2 weeks if I remember right you are doing normal standard routes like zack with 270+ parcels and 150+ stops

Always middle rd - Guess is a London thing aye 😀... Sometimes do in my truck id rather a few beeps than a ticket and can be a lot longer than a few minutes 😅
Am now trying it with a collapsible backpack from eBay if I have to deliver several parcels in the area, sometimes you have 5 parcels in hand and everytime one falls every time, maybe it works, the backpack is just as foldable as the totes .
With me it depends on how my day is going sometimes i just bang the van in the middle of the road with hazards on n other times i will find a parking space lol
Actually disgraceful to leave the van like that. That's how you get rats and mice chewing the wiring to bits, not to mention how rude it is to the next driver.

Mate I was a milk delivery driver In scotland expected to do 300÷ deliveries between 10pm til 7am which if sticking to speed limit is mathematically impossible. Would you do this?. The company is Mcqueens dairies who I believe are in Liverpool

I unlocked my Amazon locker yesterday only to find my package opened and item missing (smartphone). Do you think it was stolen by the delivery driver? Or did the driver forget to close the door? I unlocked it in my car so the locker was already open when I got out. I was proper mad when I picked up the feather light package. I much prefer the old method of using a code to open the locker.

Dragging the bag about lol and do they have a Xmas Market in Liverpool n do you or any drivers you know do the city centre cos here in Birmingham from now until the start of January the German Market here n a lot of the roads in the city centre closed we have to find a space put about 5 stops in a bag do them go back get another 5 it's a nightmare

What does the average amazon driver earn on average per month? I've seen the odd estimate and how does the fuel system work. Is it on expenses or do you get a work fuel card or is it all put in before you start the shift? If you follow lol. I'm just curious if it's a job you could do as a career or if it has a shelf life? I enjoy watching the videos and you look like you enjoy the job to a certain degree 😅

Amazon typically across stations give a day rate of the equivalent of around £12 an hour for a 9 hour route so for my DSP we get £108 a day after the £5 van rental fee, fuel is included through a fuel card at a petrol station next to our van yard, as is insurance and that’s the case for most DSPs so whatever you make is profit. We also have an invoicing service that’s 12.50 a week so our invoicing is done automatically. Overall if you’re willing to put the graft in and run around all day you can be getting paid £108 for 4-5 hours work since it’s a day rate and not hourly and then I know drivers ask to sweep people who are behind and make an extra £50+ so if you don’t have any ridiculous outgoings it’s a really good grind but also equally as good to do on the weekends for an extra couple hundred quid as a side hustle.
I own my own van so get £170 daily rate (large van 180-190 stops, 375-425 parcels, 16-18 bags 20-30 overflow on average) plus £15 mileage plus £3 for using my own phone as scanning device for 5-6 hours work (expert at door stepping 😂) plus I support struggling drivers for 20 stops @ £30.. so on average I make £1200-£1500 a week (I work 6 days a week) before expenses but bear in mind I'm self employed so come January it's slow so I earn less but never less than £1000 a week before expenses..
BTW there is peak time bonus (prime days, Christmas) which is £25 extra per day thought out November and December..

No wonder it took long 176 stops is normal now for a amazon route isn't it but 69 commercial packages is a lot n i find it's the commercial one's what slow me down sometimes having to drive all round the back of the company to where they accept parcels

Why don`t you become a lorry driver pal ? Why run around like a headless chicken for crap money ? I deliver to the big M and earn a really good wage ... 50 hours for 900 a week after taxes . Amazon are a joke used to do it a few years ago and had crazy amount of stops .
