As somebody who has been a product manager in India for over 15 years, here is what it takes to design a product for Indians. It should work in the hottest heat of Rajasthan, the coldest cold of Ladakh, the wettest rains of Mumbai. It should get certified being tested by a rocket scientist and have ease of use such that an uneducated tribal can use it. Must work in 56 languages. Also it should cost next to nothing, because Indians need to see value.

In Afghanistan 🇦🇫 the Indian 🇮🇳 medicines are trustworthy comparing to the Iranian’s medicines . In fact the best medicines Afghans can trust and for those asking proof
As per the the National Import-Export Record for Yearly Analysis of Trade (NIRYAT) portal, drugs and pharmaceuticals accounted for 21% of the total exports from India to Afghanistan in FY23.10 Oct 2023

India is strong in medicine manufacturing because its patent system is different from that of other countries. You cannot patent a chemical compound in India but you can patent a method of manufacturing it. This means that Indian drug firms can make exact copies of medicines if they can develop a different way of doing it. These medicines can be exported to other countries as soon as the patents in these countries have run out.

The impression of poor quality of Chinese manufacturing was in the 2000s, but now it is 2024, and China's industrial capacity and product quality are already in the first echelon.

I am 50+. Some 20 years ago, Indians used to be proud of owning products labeled 'Made in ___', what ever be in the blank except India. Now, every Indian is proud of 'Made in India' products 'cause the quality has gone up and we feel proud to own such a product that's being exported to other countries. And we feel great about products designed and entirely made in India, not 'imported technology'.

in fact, Chinese manufacturers do not care where their products are sold. Most manufacturers are not responsible for sales; instead, various distributors are responsible for sales. The quality of the products you receive depends on how much your distributor has invested. In Guangzhou, there are many Africans engaged in trade, but they always choose the cheapest option. Can you really get good things for cheap? There are also many comments about Indian drugs, in fact, over 70% of India's active pharmaceutical ingredients come from China and are then packaged in India. You can check the import data for India.

On the other hand, India trades withe the world only accounts for 2% of the global trade. The main reason is that Indian products never match up in qualify for global production, as well as lacking production output.
Let's don't even talk about the high speed trains that China built in Africa, as well as all the ports, roads, factories , and power plants that China built. Could you tell me what India built in Africa? Nothing.
