- This is a promo vid I did covering one of Eve-Online's backstory Chronicles "The Day of Darkness". It tells of when the Minmatar were first attacked and enslaved by the Amarrian Empire.

You did a great job on this. I was quite impressed beign that i've been playing eve for a very long time. I can't wait to see if you put anything else together. Loved the camera shots, and you did awesome with the editing. Also the Music fit perfectly! I can't say enough about this one. definatly, gonna have to feature this on Eden Underground.

The battle of Vak Atior. Ever since that time, the jovians opted to destroy the star gates leading to their homeworlds. The other reason why amarrians lost was because there were jovian spies inside the amarr system who informed the jovians of their coming.

cool, dig the battle scenes. Did you use Fraps to record some of it? Some of it looks CG though, like the scene where the Wolf dodges the laser beam, doesn't happen in eve. All shots visually create a hit regardless of actually hitting it. Yeah complicated tracking formulas using angular velocity.

True, but you have to look for that resemblance, and it only does at a certain range of angle.
Actually that was the jove. According to the backstory the amarr attacked the jove thinking they were a little fish but it nearly cost them their empire giving the minmatar an oppurtunity to free themselves.

it was modified with the trinity patch. They wont appear unless ur moving fast enough, ie in an interceptor with mwd

@mozerdude78 The Amarr and Caldari ad in an alliance politically which is why some Amarr ships have missile launcher slots, other wise they would be strictly laser only vessels...but i dont think the Caldari and the Amarr were best buddies when the Minmatar and Amarr were going at it like this. They were probably to busy pissing off the Gallente and vise versa
I hate to be the nerd here...I really do...but the Hurricane didn't come into existance until after the war...its part of the new "Minmatar Rennaisance"...along with the Maelstrom

@rbtl90 dud this vid was done 3 years ago..they probaly only had a,limited numebr of ships to use at the time
