- It's super awesome that all of my 2013 Scion FR-S parts fit on Sylvie (2022 BRZ). Its kinda like Power Rangers coming together to form something greater. 😂
Enjoy this quick install where we remove some of the power loss in the midrange with the more free-flowing HKS Equal Length Catted Headers and the Tomei Overpipe!

Thanks! I don’t get any lights or errors for a couple miles. You’ll need a tune to keep it off indefinitely.

Coming together very nice! Super bummed about RTV but decided not dropping my oil pan while under warranty. Will see if blackstone analysis picks up anything. I like Zygrene’s approach to keep drinking it’s blood in mountains and occasional autox/track day. When warranty lapses and if no recall will drop then and reassess.

Great video! Thanks for sharing. I have corsa as well, and im looking for a EL header and a tune for some top end power gain. was the cold start loud in person with the EL header?
Absolutely, it’s a great exhaust. With my catted header it is not loud at all. You can definitely hear it but it’s not loud by any means.
you noticed a little less power in the midrange before the header? compared to the 1st gen?
Compared to the first gen it is 100000x better. You can’t really feel it as much as the 1st gen.
don't you need tune for header install on the 2022+?
Well you can run the header with a tune but you’ll get the most out of it with a tune. A tune will also prevent the engine light from coming on depending if you go with a catted/ non catted header.

Did you reinstall the underside panel? Does it fit with HKS EL headers?
I did, it fits with the under panel :)
Did you run an o2 senser extension? If not how long did it take to get a cel?
I did not. Part of the reason I went catted header. I haven’t gotten a CEL since I installed it. But I know it’s different for others.
Are these 2nd gen parts? or first gen?

@@Catalyst4k you probably know this, but the gen 1 headers dont flow as well (smaller pipe diameter) compared to gen 2. so you'll lose a little power actually. it sounds awesome though!
@@geoffreytodd reason I haven't gotten any of these heades yet. PLM claimes they have a header with bigger runners 48mm compared to the 1st gen headers but they didn't state what the size were for the 1gen tho

Why did you choose header with catalytic converter ?
And does it add horse power .
I also think that EL header is better it's also more engine healthier
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching! I chose one with the cat so the car wouldn’t be so loud. I believe uncatted headers tend to be a little more louder. Yes the EL design is definitely better for performance.

EL headers and overpipe are a great idea. The cat back exhaust always makes these too loud. I doubt there is an exhaust on earth that doesn't make these sound a bit crap. UEL sound like utter garbage so at least EL sounds better. Otherwise a fantastic car, look great, handle amazing and the new gen are pretty quick. I learned to drive on an AE86 so I'd love to say these sound good, but they just don't and I doubt they ever will. Better to not make them too loud.

Not until a month or 2. I erased the code and it didn't come back up. I'm tuned now so the CEL was disabled for the o2 sensor.
hey i’m trying to install these on a frs and did it come close to hitting the water hose under the car? it hit mine when i turned it on and it started to leak antifreeze?

Umm not that I could remember. You might have ripped a hose when removing the stock one.
it is not ripped,cause the header is pinching the hose when fully tightened so i don’t know what to do as of right now lol
