I’m pretty sure a Blackbird reaches over 2,000mph, so those are some fast sentinels. Though it was polite of them to slow down when the chase switched to a Porsche. 😂 not hating. Loving this show. Other shows have been way more egregious when introducing a new unstoppable threat and then nerfing it for the finale. Patricia was still an intense opponent in this ep.

the sentinels are clearly too OP. That's why I hate over 90% of these comic book writers. With power like that, they would've already taken over the world.
There are obstacles and plans in place, you can't rush it on power alone or else there's no story. Shit like this is why people like you don't get to be writers. Just critics.
The amount of nerfing Jean had to get in order for this scene to play out was just dumb. She could have telekinetically disassembled those things easily or controlled them to have them just attack each other. The jet and the car didn't even need to get damaged. Also, if she couldn't handle them all, which is doubtful, Cable, while not nearly as powerful is a telekinetic as well.
Jesus Christ enough. If theres one thing thats consistent, its that too much happening at once is hard for Jean to handle. And fuck it man, its just a better scene this way.

@@zeroG131exactly. It's a story. It needs to be told well to work, not dumb characters down. There's a limit to the suspension of disbelief even when it comes to superheroes. Jean Grey is the original omega. This isn't what even low-level fake newbie omegas like Storm and Magneto would do.
Maybe she isn’t that strong yet. Took a long time before she got listed omega.
A key element to Jean as a character is that Professor X trained her to supress her powers, because they were dangerous, for herself, and others. If Jean releases her true potential, they may as well just end the series, because everyone else on the team would be pointless compared to her.
Her powers HAVE to be scaled down, both because it is a plot element, and because it would be boring if she actually worked at full potential all the time. I think they're using her powers very efficiently in the series.
