Former Oregonian here. Been away from Beverton for 19 years or more. Graduated in 1997. Pretty sure I'm your 1kth subscriber. Great video. It jogged alot of memories and shown me how much and how little has changed.
The way you put this perfectly describes Beaverton, I'm a 30 year resident. So much has developed and changed over the years, however it still has some of the old town charm in certain areas/suburbs. I guarantee Beaverton will be nothing like it used to be in another 15.
Raised in Beaverton when the street I lived on was a narrow dirt and gravel tree lined country road. Now that same street is heavily traveled and the home I grew up in is long gone and now has an apartment building. Up the same street is the home my parents bought and lived in for the rest of their lives. When you drove on Hart road I remember it well, named for the Hart family that had Hart's Hatchery. Thank you for this tour. Beaverton was a good place to grow up, not so much now.
Bought my Beaverton house for 120K dollars a few years ago. Just sold for nearly 800K dollars in December. I now live in Florida, it is amazingly nice here. Got a year pass at Disney World for free from friend that works there.
Rest In Peace mgrans fish house my mom and my sister worked the I was like the celebrity there the mozzarella cheese sticks and the chicken with ranch and the shrimp and the roasted shrimp I miss all of that 😢😢 brings back all of my memories when I was there when I was seven and eight :(😢😢😭😭😢
I used to work for almost 2 years at KFC , Cedar Hills 2001-2003...lotsa memories for sure, there was a music store next to KFC back then I used to buy a lot of second hand metal records
Beaverton is a Popular Place. We have heard that there’s going to be a New In N Out Burger sometime in the future located on Beaverton Hillsdale Highway by the Target. Canyon Road and Farmington Road is a Nightmare and a Busy Street. It’s lacking with 2 Travel Lanes, Left Turn Signal and a Railroad Crossings in all Intersections and that will need to be a Major Changes during Construction Improvement Projects. The Project is going to be a Grade Separate Crossing and a One Way Street Couplet. Turning into a One Way Street is a Good Idea and will keep the Traffic Flowing and gotta get used to it as of Two Way Street will get reconstruct to a One Way Street which means it will be a Major Change. Westbound on Farmington will removed to Canyon Road and Eastbound on Canyon Road will remove to Farmington Road between Murray Blvd to Highway 217. It will have 4 Travel Lanes with a Bus Only Lane in the Right Lane, also All Railroad Crossings will be reconstruct to a Grade Separate Crossing Project. Which means Railroad Crossing will be Gone for Good and a New Bridge Overcrossing to keep keep Everyone Safe and Saving Life’s and No more getting concern of Gated Crossing for a Train to go by. It’s going to be a Million Dollar Project and can take up to 2 Years to complete the Project. Bridges are super expensive.

Meh, portland is more
I kept expecting to see Tektronix.
Not a lot of folks out. Why?
Pandemic? Lockdown? sheesh
It is no longer safe on the streets. Lots of drug lords moving in since drugs were decriminalized.
wow😼😜
I'd hardly say Cedar Hills Mall is growing or expanding. More like dying a slow death. No one needs malls anymore.
Amazon put them out of bussiness.
