Can’t tell you how many times I walked these streets when I was living there for 15 yrs. Always great places to explore. Graduated from NBHS ‘1967.

You used to have to drive through Cle Elum before the freeway was built. We lived in the Okanogan Valley and a few times a year we drove to Tacoma to see family and would stop at a cafe in Cle Elum for breakfast. One time three monster steam farm tractors pulled up to the cafe and the drivers came in and had breakfast. It was about 1958/59 and I was about 12 and was fascinated by those old smoking behemoths that had to keep making steam even while parked.

I live in Sequim. John Wayne Marina is a lovely peaceful place for a walk, dog walk, picnic , to look out over water, for photography. There is a small seafood restaurant and overnight RV area . You may not have had the time or did not know about it. Also Discovery Trail is something all nature lovers should know about. Trail goes for miles and is flat. One can walk very small segments or a longer hike or bike ride. The trail does go past both the Marina and Casino and heads all of the way into Port Angeles to the west. Sorry you missed the sunshine.

Lived in the rogue valley for 30 years you've made me home sick but I appreciate the view all my friends are there I'm down here in Texas taking care of my aging mother who is bedridden I had to leave for her so I'm doing what I should be doing maybe someday I'll be back up there I have played many many nightclubs up there all up and down the valley even on the west coast I do miss it to me it was Paradise I absolutely loved it there be safe and be peaceful and thank you again for the view

Maybe a dumb question, but is it still a quiet town? Looking to go somewhere that I don't have to deal with noisy neighbors, and hopefully doesn't have any new housing development. We just want peace and quiet.

Maybe stay in town longer and voice over what streets you're traveling and name the businesses your passing, what food markets, drug stores, fast food, local faire, etc

I spent almost a year in Rapid City in 1952. Loved it. Cathedral School had 7th and 8th grade in the same classroom and I learned so much. Great school year. I was in the 7th grade. Wonderful people and beautiful scenery, Remember Joe Duffy and Gene Tippin. They would be in their 80s now.

WOW!! drove that road many times over 48 years ago. Living in a one road town named Monitor between the towns well cities now of Mt. Angel, and Woodburn. Only Visited Silver Springs and the waterfalls, which required a 45 min to 1 hour hike..The pathway that is shown in another video where a gentleman was hiking, didn't exist back then. Was my first date with the Lady who later became my wife. Thank You for stirring up an old man's memories...

Born at 3rd and Jefferson, grew up on Brook Lane, about 1/2 mile south of what is now Reser Stadium. Roosevelt Elementary, Corvallis High, class of 1958, just celebrated our 65th reunion. I retired to Ashland, but that's another story.

Ontario is a small town with so much crime in it. There's also a ton of drug users in the town as well. It's not a good town to live in at all.
