It really is pretty simple, especially when the colors are just separate and you split them to create the stripe later. I hope you try it! And I know! He is my best little buddy. He's never far away, that's how he makes so many more videos than the other dog :)

Trish, this is very inspiring to me. I am always scared that my joints of the different colors will be lumpy. I am spinning some sock yarn now that I dyed and will chain ply it. How have these socks worn for you?
I gave them away, and I can't even remember who got them. I can hardly believe that. I always think I'll remember. I have worn other chain plied socks, and I don't mind them at all. There is a secret to keeping the joins flatter. I guess I should maybe someday make a video about that, huh?

Next time I will make a shorter stripe repeat, but I haven't done it exactly like this before, so I wasn't sure how wide of a stripe I would get. They have been fun though.

It was chain plied! I love it but next time I'll make the stripes a little bit shorter.
