Andrew Tate is like a 13 year olds idea of what a cool adult is like, thats why so many kids look up to him. Adults who can retain their childlike zest of life are often the most fun people to be around, but people like Andrew Tate are the opposite and they just suck the fun out of everything and end up looking pathetic. Who is he beyond this cool guy persona who can get as many cars and chicks as he wants? There's nothing. He's just a shell.

You mean to tell me Andrew was a non assimilating immigrant who refused to learn the language and had multiple children out of wedlock? lol. I have to say he is very persuasive in his confidence and absolutes that he speaks in, he is a great communicator -usually people like that are full of BS tho. He has his place I guess.

The problem with Tate is it becomes very difficult to know if he actually believes what he says. To me he’s more like a salesman or life guru then an actual person to look up too. Most of what he says is complete nonsense but he delivers his message in a very charismatic way which keeps his core audience intact (Salesman Tactics) Not trying to get political but Donald Trump is a similar example where he’ll say something dumb and untrue but deliver the message in a way that all his supporters cling onto it. I agree with all your reasoning.

I agree with your take on him not learning Romanian. People like him don't like to "be an idiot" since winning is so fundamentally part of their identity, they close themselves off to learn new things. But your missing the point of him not behaving like regular rich people. Like the people who never accepted Jay Gatsby. The Tates show that being rich is just having systems for money, it doesn't make you a " better " person. So you don't need to be all serious or decent to get money. you can still be a goofball, just like how a lot of rich people actually are but put up a facade. Ultimately his message is about working hard to fulfill your dreams, even the most trivial and pety ones. And maturity comes from the lessons and experiences of life, not the content you read.

    1. In an Eastern European capital it's not necessary to learn the local language. The IT boom in the past 10 years made Bucharest, Budapest, Warsaw, Prague and Bratislava made it a lot of businesses to also operate in English.

I think it speaks more to the state of masculinity in this country today. We’re in a time where Men will look at a guy smoking cigars, rich lifestyle and follow his every word while trying to emulate his character as if doing so will actually bear any fruit and improve their lives. Most people don’t know who they are or have few mentors around them so their only option is to find guidance from a man in Romania who they’ve never met via Social Media.

It seems to me that the only thing that drives Tate is to be viewed as the manliest man in other men's eyes. He wanted to place himself on top of the hierarchy purely because he thought he deserved it. There's a reason his fans tend to be teenagers, they don't know any better and can't see through the posturing and bullshit.

Very much agree. The whole time this thing has me puzzled, when people say "he speaks the truth to fight the matrix, thats why they locked him up". Like what? what has he said? Amongst the usefull things, discipline, hard work and excersise will do good things for you. And then he thinks money, good looking women and cars are the best things ever, and that the world is run by rich people with influence. Thats the great big secret, the matrix is trying to keep from everyone, that only he knew?!? He has a good vocabulary, but the usefull advice he gives, are just the most mindnumbingly obvious things.
I think rich guys might buy cars like some of his, to have them increase in value, but would drive them as little as possible, and rather not have anyone know, they own them.

I'm not sure why it's important as to whether we take Andrew Tate seriously or not. it's like debating whether we take Kim Kardashian seriously or Taylor Swift seriously. it's really irrelevant to most people who've even actually heard of him in their day-to-day lives. I guess even though Jordan Peterson has more academic credentials, it's really kind of the same thing as whether or not you take Jordan Peterson seriously or respect him. some people do, some people don't, some people have never even heard of him and have no idea what he says or has said. some people misinterpret him, and some people find him helpful. but at least Jordan Peterson is trying to help people. Andrew Tate seems to only want To help himself to whatever he can get and as much of it as he can get. He'll probably wind up being convicted and doing some jail time, but from what I understand he's a fairly decent chess player, so at least he'll have something to do in jail to pass the time.

I didn't watch too much of AT, but I had the feeling that "the mAtrix" construct is mainly designed to be understood by his audience. I don't even think, he uses their metaphor that much and created his own version.
Similar, I could assume, is his "wealth" behaviour. IG shows the resonance that "normal" people have with wealth. Hence, it provides him with marketing content.

Tate isn't a public intellectual yet you treat him like one in this video, talking about the consistency/ quality of his ideas. Tate himself pokes fun at his own caricature at times. Knowingly or not, he tapped into a current of thought that resonated with his young audience, and there was a need for such content before Tate was famous. I just think that this video misses the point, Tate is not a thinker, he is more akin to a salesperson. Not in the business of creating ideas but rather in selling courses to people.

For example, he gets driven around by his security guards. Your lack of knowledge about him, mixed with you thinking you know what wealth is because you've seen or been around it, but not actually experiencing it by being wealthy yourself, makes for a strange argument.

i think andrew tate audience is just a bunch of young adults that dont have a foot in life and tries to portray his way of living as the best and how you should do it and that u can only be happy if u have a nice car and money and bitches whish is for people attractive that dont rly know for what to look for in a long life like famaly a good relationship and not some golddiggers his persona is just a guy that u would think is a character in a movie for teenagers. most of the things he does look like if a teen thought of cool and sick things a movei character could do, like the shirt of and flexing on greta with unrecycled cartons which is something i can just laugh at cus it just shows how much insecurities he has
he also uses the things that politicians use to make arguments that are true look like untrue things for normal people like in his bbc interveiw he tries to deny things he said on camera so his fans wont think bad of him which is enough for them cus they most see only some of the clips or just straight up deny everything cus they dont wanna be in the wrong because their ego is to fragile to accept certein things like him being mysogonistig still for some reason being a debate

I've always been in between the leftists and rightists about Andrew Tate. You've constructed your points perfectly based on your perspective which I completely agree with. It is also true that Andrew Tate has had a huge influence on young men's mentality positively, encouraging them to stay fit and focused; informal conversations about women which are morally wrong but I partially agree with(Nobody is morally right in today's world).
But anyone in their right mind would know that the government is not going to go after someone who's famous on Tiktok. No government is stupid is going after you just cuz you talk shit on your podcast (alex jones would be sentenced to death), there's obviously more context behind the scenes that's going on. It maybe how he's running business in Romania or his ties with "mafia" which he openly boasts about.
And this whole persona about the matrix is all in his head, which is furthermore creating false optimism in young men. Life isn't as simple. Just cause you go to gym and hustler's university and start a business you don't get rich at 25. I understand what he's tryna do make people think and live out of the box. But it is all too optimistic. Now you could say I'm in no place to talk about this. But if you have two braincells you'd know you're not getting legitimate money from kickboxing, reality shows and web-caming women to open to casinos and have a net worth 300 million dollars.

I am by now means rich but I could afford several Lada's myself. Also boasting about corrupting police and politicians in a country like Romania that has been admonished about corruption by the European Union and wants to put on a bit of a show of arresting criminals who corrupt police officers well, the timing of those 2 things are like a match made in heaven me thinks. Money can't buy style, and he looks like a cheap pimp with no taste. That's all.

I guess, he's more of a personification of young men's fever dreams. What they imagine themselves to be like (not IRL, but how they would see themselves in a dream). For me, and I guess for many young men, he speaks / acts out what all men want to. He is a push back to the overly woke leftists that exist. That's why people like him.
99℅ if things he says are satirical and not something to be seriously taken. He simply gives confidence to young men to be themselves and not to hide in fear against the "matrix". Not intellectually.

Can't tell if this comment is satirical or not

The irony of this video, is that you are analysing him too seriously!
I'm a "fan" of Tate. But I don't take him that seriously, and don't analyse him as seriously as you. He's not an intellectual. Jordan Peterson is an intellectual.
