You had any problems with the calliper piston boots melting with the heat from the brake pads? There’s a few UK lads fitting titanium shims to cure it. I’m also after some Endless for mine but I usually use ME22. How are the ME20’s lasting and how aggressive are they on the rotors. Cheers
Mantheys facilities look so sleek and modern, I love it! It does make a difference if you work in a clean well lit modern place or in a dark old dirty one.

20mm is the minimum lowering. I believe, that there will be a problem with the arches.. I am very curious what is going to happen! On the contrary, there are other 255 section tire cars out there, not sure if they are lowered though
I wanted to go 255 35 19 but eventually was persuaded to go 255 3518. I live in Australia and will call KW tomorrow re coil over parts. I really want to thank you for replying as I know you’d receive a huge amount of comments, it’s truly impressive. Hopefully I’ll come to Apex when Covid is a thing of the past. @@MT-eb2dx that's true, but more than that doesn't equal better, and narrower only really gives less grip, because the material is overstressed, as in overheated etc. that's assuming the same rubber compound etc. anyway, only really meant to dispute the idea of "immense forces" on the car, because of the wider tires, it's the compound that matter here, not width.

Is there a chance you could do a video about the exact suspension setup on this GR Yaris? Like how exactly is all the compression and rebound set up for the Ring and why. Maybe even have a in car video of the lap and explaining the suspension setup at most important corners on the Ring and how it affects the handling of the car compared to stock suspension. These KW Clubsport 3-ways look amazing, they must feel amazing too. I'm thinking about getting me a set of V3's for my '19 Mini JCW so I could play around with different settings for a few track days I'll be attending this year.

Is there a reason you're bringing the Yaris to Manthey Racing instead of installing the parts yourself? Your mechnanic sure would know to install those things, wouldn't he? We could certainly install parts but the garage is in Cupra build mode and keep in mind that often a car is not just a sum of parts but a complete package as built by MR, Räder, Schirmer etc. They had a Vision for the car, it’s set up and we wanted to work together on it.

I've not heard of Endless in the UK, what are the wet and dry boiling points of the brake fluid compared to other well known brands. ✌️
In terms of Apex investment to ensure the car is balls out awesome to drive for the many, many people that end up renting the GR Yaris, how much (roughly) would you say you have invested in the modifications? And I'm asking this as an example of your continued commitment to providing the best possible experience for your customers.
Maybe a stupid question, but a hear a lot of good things about pagid rs29 brake pads on ringtools. Is there a reason why you went with endless? Looking for some good trackday brake pads for k-sport calipers.
Quite a lot of corrosion on the rear suspension components. Mine is showing similar signs and has only done 500 miles. The bushes appear to be the worst.
Why does the KW suspension look so puny compared to the stock suspension? OEM mcp struts definitely look more robust. Is it just that track oriented stuff doesn’t not have to be as sturdy as a gravel setup? Reiger suspension for example is thick as

How is the KW in a daily life ? I am also looking at this option but am afraid that lowering GR with KW will cause that engine will be too close to road. Have mine lowered with HR springs and already now engine cover is pretty close to tarmac and has been harmed few times…
There is a chance it’ll go smaller it all depends on how the tires warm up... ar1 warm up quicker than say a cup 2 so it could work out well;-). Keep in mind the car still weighs 1300kg

Wider tires don't give better traction... They just allow to keep that traction (heat management etc.)

All the lines are exchanged for braided.
Dry boiling point: 622 F/ 328 C
Wet boiling point: 424 F/218 C

H&R springs lower the car 35mm. The KW lowers the car minimum 25mm, so you would have 10mm more clearance
