8:20 those pliers. FInland we call them "ouch f***" pliers, cause when tey slip, your finger(s) or atleast skin will get crushed by handles. And then you dnace around yard, garage or where ever you are using them, in pain after throwing as far as you can.

You had any problems with the calliper piston boots melting with the heat from the brake pads? There’s a few UK lads fitting titanium shims to cure it.
I’m also after some Endless for mine but I usually use ME22. How are the ME20’s lasting and how aggressive are they on the rotors. Cheers

Great, thanks for all the videos, appreciate the effort that goes in. I'm dreaming about visiting the Ring one day and rent a car or fee from Apex guys.
Is there a chance you could do a video about the exact suspension setup on this GR Yaris? Like how exactly is all the compression and rebound set up for the Ring and why. Maybe even have a in car video of the lap and explaining the suspension setup at most important corners on the Ring and how it affects the handling of the car compared to stock suspension. These KW Clubsport 3-ways look amazing, they must feel amazing too. I'm thinking about getting me a set of V3's for my '19 Mini JCW so I could play around with different settings for a few track days I'll be attending this year.

Is there a reason you're bringing the Yaris to Manthey Racing instead of installing the parts yourself? Your mechnanic sure would know to install those things, wouldn't he? Is it to stay connected and/or media presence, or you just think they are doing a great job? (which they obviously do).

We could certainly install parts but the garage is in Cupra build mode and keep in mind that often a car is not just a sum of parts but a complete package as built by MR, Räder, Schirmer etc. They had a Vision for the car, it’s set up and we wanted to work together on it.

It's a Manthey build. Plus we don't have time for it.

265 tires are way overkill for a awd 260bhp car. 245 would be probably be faster even.

There is a chance it’ll go smaller it all depends on how the tires warm up... ar1 warm up quicker than say a cup 2 so it could work out well;-). Keep in mind the car still weighs 1300kg

Interesting selection of size! Would like to hear the experience since I am also looking to replace the very expensive BBS whels on mine

@@RobertMitchell Have have you thought about this measure: 255/40/17?

@@RobertMitchell Thx for your reply, With its AWD system and (IMHO) relatively low weight, the Yaris will stick to the tarmac whatever tire size given I would guess. You lose some playfullness going this wide, but I would love to book the car this year when covid restrictions are lifted.
