Well we never saw that result coming…all I can say is enjoy the interviews the Alan Biley player profile & the in’its…I guess you have to make the most of these days else what’s the point we had a great day hotels fine the Derby fans we encountered were so friendly ( for the 3rd season running)the fan liaison lady before was superb with the kids from both teams we’ll make our way home in the morning dust down & see you all at Fratton next week…keep the faith Pup 💙💙
Well done again guys! It was Roman, my 7 yr old with you Greeting the players and I have to second tour comme t re:the liaison lady (who did whisper to us she was a Forest fan lol) and all staff at Derby, first class.
Thanks Nolan and Dad, and all of the travelling supporters, that team last night didn’t deserve you. Derby seemed to win every 2d ball, their midfield player Adams controlled the match and ran Potts ragged, just look each one of their goals was scored by a different player, Bishop on his own like last game was covered, only one decent shot on goal and that was from Murphy from out on the wing, tactics seemed to play out to him all the time, Derby cottoned on to that quickly. Anyway thanks once again to you both, and the supporters. PUP⚓️
Thank you just got home there just se3med to be so much space all over last night….we go again Saturday although Coventry looked pacey early on in season!
I've said all season that if we aren't cut adrift by January a decent transfer window will keep us up. We've had a poor season so far, but we have done enough to keep ourselves in with a chance, so it all hinges on January as I expected. We've got a midfielder playing as a centre back instead of our actual centre backs who are fit and available to play. That just about says it all. And we have absolutely no one on the bench to come on and change the game when it's not going well. We need some proven quality in January. Players who can come straight in and make a difference. This is what we should have done in the summer instead of trying to do everything on the cheap. Let's be honest, the summer transfers wete terrible with only a couple of exceptions. Mousinho can just about put a reasonable starting eleven out there on a good day, but the depth just isnt there and it shows. I still think we will be OK with some decent January signings and the owners have said they are going to do exactly that. I had a bad feeling about this game, but Coventry at Fratton is the perfect opportunity to put this behind us. PUP.
Yes Saturday have to try to won’t be easy Coventry have some fast players we definitely need a couple of solid championship players ..when you get someone in it always gives the players a lift
@PompeyInitMush We need 4 or 5 players to be honest. Definitely at least one decent centre back, a right back, box to box midfielder and a striker. We signed 14 players in the summer and only 3 or 4 of them actually look like Championship players. I'm not exactly full of confidence in those who are responsible for recruitment at the club. Coventry won't be an easy game, but it's certainly one we should be looking to win if we actually expect to stay up this season. Our home form is the only thing that can keep us up and that means beating midtable teams and those around us at Fratton. Anything away from home will be a bonus. If we can't put in a performance and beat Coventry at Fratton we really do need to start worrying.
This is what happens when a promoted club invests heavily in proven Championship or Premier League-level players, and they face another promoted side that gambled on risky, low-cost signings from foreign leagues and youth academies. An absolute shambles-this is entirely on the Eisners. Hopefully, this serves as a much-needed wake-up call for them.

3 games in 6 days….. we just don’t have the squad depth.
Think McIntyre needs to be dropped personally.
Awful night dust down go again I think it’s definitely squad depth
1:40 does he have spunk on his coat?
Looks like a group effort
Stoke, Cardiff and Derby all performances not good enough and hard to watch, We even left 15 mins from The end, Hopefully get a result on Saturday
