      I couldnt finish the interview i think that was why, people can get so offensive I had to just turn away and do my little prayer and just shut off that admiration i had for the kid. So then to see him accepting God man it just goes to show sometimes you just got to let God handle the battles and you support by praying over that person and their heart to know the truth . Such good stuff, I hope he finds his voice and words to use his talents to sing gospel once in a while too

      Accepting Jesus who is love is living every day as the fullness of love with the Holy Spirit in us! Also would like to share that God’s Law is 100% truth so love can equally exist towards other people and yet not for things that do not praise our living God:)

      @@eiko_10 With all due respect, please know that Jesus Christ is not a religion. He is the only Savior and when you come to Him you enter into a personal relationship with your Creator. It's not whether or not you connect with it but rather, if God's word is true, and Jesus really did die and rose again for our sins, then we all need the Savior. But God will respect your decision to reject Him. Peace to you.

God is misrepresented by us all the time - but those who truly seek and follow Him know that He commands us to love others just as He has loved us. (John 13:34) I hope that encourages you :)

      No shame in being proud of your faith. When your faith is used to persecute others? You should be shamed. All the Christians in these comments alluding to him 'beating' his queerbess is so gross

    • @calliemarie4464
      @calliemarie4464 4 місяці тому +7

      @@codypatton171 it’s not used to persecute others, it’s hard to explain but when you find God and become a Christian it’s not just religion it’s a relationship with God like he is your father, it’s more personal than a ritualistic religion. That being said if something is a sin once you become a Christian you want to overcome that sin because God didn’t make us to be in a sinful state he wanted us to be perfect but humans SUCK and we constantly screw things up. That’s why He sent His Son Jesus to save us from that sin. So due to this you cannot be queer and a Christian because that is a sinful state. Just because you are a Christian doesn’t mean there isn’t struggles with temptation to go back to that lifestyle but that’s no different than any other temptation someone might deal with such as addiction. We are not perfect by any means but God didn’t make us to be living in that sinful state, I know it is extremely hard to understand but once you find God it’s worth giving up anything earthly such as relationships or addictions. If you’ve been shown hostility from Christians I am so sorry that is not loving at all, we may not agree on stuff but that’s absolutely no reason to be rude and hostile. I put it this way, if you knew the cure for cancer wouldn’t you wanna share it? In that same way finding the love of God makes you want to share about it! Josh turning from his sinful ways and following God and living his life for God is a beautiful thing to rejoice over and Josh seems like he’s happy! I understand everyone has complicated lives and stories but I hope this helped explain a little 🤍

But here's the thing people: thats how you can be sure He's the Way, the Truth, and the Life.....exactly BECAUSE He is the only spiritual path that causes that kind of disconfort in others. That discomfort people feel is the sin inside all of us reacting to the only One who can heal us from it ❤

      @@joelbedulla4don’t let other humans misrepresent the love of Jesus for you. Ik some may be hurt by false teachings and people who claim to be Christian but don’t live it. All I say is that the love of Jesus is real and it can heal anybody no matter where they are in their life. All you need to do is accept it. Don’t let humans tell you who Jesus is. Meet him for yourself and you’ll see. It’s not about the people teaching the religion, it’s about Jesus himself and nobody else. And I promise he’s the only one that can heal that trauma and anything else you may be battling with. Anyways have a good day it’s all love!

      @@joelbedulla4 I can sometimes see why people leave churches, but cannot for the life of me understand why anyone would leave Jesus Christ. He is the Savior, not the church. People in the church may not represent Christ as they should, but that has nothing to do with Jesus. Cultivate a relationship with the Savior, and find a church that teaches from God's word faithfully.

    It’s lovely to hear Joshua speaking so positively about Jesus. It warms my heart. I was sad about how Christians had left him feeling about Christ seeing the previous interview but also thought what an amazing young man and how thoughtful he is.
    The one thing I wish was asked and maybe it was and it was cut… Joshua talked about being attracted to Harry Styles before and while he didn’t put a label on it he did post a post celebrating diversity and the LGBTQ+ community in a way many took to be him identifying himself as part of that community. Since his experience of Jesus he has deleted all that from his socials.
    So if he’s back maybe that could be asked if he’s willing to talk about it.
    I have been there. And I see some of the language he is using when asked about Christianity and homophobia and it causes some mild concern. If he’s suppressing his sexuality because he fears he won’t be accepted it’s just a road to pain and fear and darkness. So I hope that’s not the case and that he’s able to thrive.

      @@TheWaveyCowpar My thoughts completely. Joshua can be a progressive Christian and be bi AND a believer, but if he's back to pretending to be straight because of his conversion it leaves a horrible taste in my mouth. I guess we'll never know if he doesn't feel like it's worth addressing.

      @@joelbedulla4 I spent a good 14 years of my life in that place. And I recognise some of the language he used when asked about the homophobia and the church. I just wish he took it that one step further. Joshua might have it on a list of no goes though. But you know, if that’s the case, if he’s suppressing his sexuality, it will come out, but the danger is he will be ashamed and trying to hide it and that will lead to taking more risks and going to darker places to hide cos it’s not like he can just have his face on something like Grindr. I just worry for him. I know how dark that place in your own head can get when you feel like to have to be straight to please the God you have this amazing experience of

      Just cuz you accept Christ doesn’t mean you stop having/feeling same sex attraction. Lust is lust. It’s the same with all other desires and temptations they don’t go away but following jesus is to die to self , there is so much more to life than sexuality, his sexuality is like 1% of who he is and it shouldn’t stop him from coming to Christ and Jesus doesn’t stop loving him. It’s between him and God, none of our business 🙂

    I’ve heard stories of people on weed that have experiences like this. God is so powerful and he will tell you the truth when he knows you’re ready for it! Wow! How amazing that God has used all of this to help guide Joshua back to Him and his love! He waited patiently for Joshua to be ready to receive his love. Jesus died on the cross so we don’t have to experience all of the pain of this world. We surrender it to Him, and he carries our burdens for us. God is so awe-inspiring! Joshua’s testimony is SO POWERFUL! Crying and my spirit is so overwhelmed because of this beautiful testimony! GOD IS SO GOOD!! His love and kindness is so indescribable! I also am so impressed by how Joshua is doing his best to be Christ-like. He loves others but not their sin and that is how we are supposed to share the gospel and spread the truth. With love, kindness, encouragement, support, and respect. 💕
