Bethesda is by far the most chic and upscale edge city on the east coast, by far. It has a slight California feel to it. It appears completely different from surrounding cities in the area, which adds to its uniqueness...🤔

We are a military family moving to Bethesda and I'm so nervous for the cost of living and housing. Military gives us a limiting housing allowance and I feel like it'll be so hard finding a comfortable home
be honest with you i lived in Virginia and now i am in md the true maryland more easy than va traffic and Montgomery country is good more helping by health student ..a lot rude people in va ..police in md way better many as many md every where i go busses there but the worst drivers is maryland i notice va people walking under the ground but people in Bethesda flying i love Maryland government helping lots than va
They build less homes in Maryland so that definitely explains Virginia traffic. So many houses! I was out in Ashburn and the amount of houses they are building is unbelievable! And you know I agree about the bad drivers are in MD!

Bethesda is old money while Arlington is more new money. Bethesda imo is far nicer than Arlington

I'm sorry but you are wrong, Arlington to D.C 7 to 15 Minutes, Arlington to Tysons 9 to 15 Minutes
In the middle of the night maybe! Not with normal regular traffic though.
