Thx a lot. As a young aviation enthusiast I was at my local airport planespotting during the evening. I was confused were the papi lights were all red and never changed but this explained things to me and made me get a clear idea of what is occurring.
Wow, didn't know that you are a pilot. I have been a SJ Sharks fan since the beginning. I watch most every game that's broadcast on TV. I used to go to the games when living in San Jose. I now live in the Sacramento area, so TV is the way I watch the Sharks and your great banter with Curtis before and between periods during the games. I'm not a pilot, but love aviation. Thanks for these videos - I subscribed.

I thought VASI lights were long phased out in favour of the higher precision PAPI system. Well, there you go. 😀👍
There are still many VASI’s in the NAS. They are slowly being phased out.
