I don't understand why ANYONE is complaining about the Hamilfans. If it weren't for that musical, Eliza would be further lost to obscurity. Her IMMENSE accomplishments lost... right alongside her husband. ALSO, the musical was written to be as much about the women as the men... hence the reason they're included! AND LETS NOT FORGET that the play did some AMAZING GOOD for a LOT of children thanks to the MASSIVE boost that Graham Windham received from its new found fame... oh, and the $15,000,000 cash infusion the island of Puerto Rico received after the hurricane because the San Francisco tour make a 3 week stop there and people were willing to shell out over $5,000 a seat (there were other shows for island residents where every seat only cost $10). Fun Fact: Before Alexander got his flirt on with Eliza, he wrote letters to one of Sarah Livingston Jay's sisters. He compliments her on her political mind, her wit, and her humor. I think there's ABSOLUTELY something to be said for these men who sought out brilliant women who engaged, challenged, and loved them. That's a lot more than can be said for typical high stakes marriages of that era and these were indeed high stakes marriages.
