VW auto RAIN CLOSE windows, enabling via VCDS

- You can configure your Volkswagen to use its rain light sensor (RLS) to watch for rain and automatically close (wind-up) the windows if it detects rain while parked & locked. Featured is a Golf Mk6 but the function works similarly on all VW's.
You will need a VW/Audi/Skoda car with auto rain/light features, plus a suitable scan-tool.
Think about safety issues before enabling this (especially if you dead-lock your car), as animals or children could end up locked inside.
Thank you so much for this valuable video❤. Please post more VW coding videos.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I COULD NOT FIGURE THIS OUT.
I Like your Channel very much.
You are doing great Job.
...do you still have Mondeo MK3?
Yep it's still good.

Hi Craig, this is Lucien from GSTP Autoparts. Your channel is very impressive and we'd like to have a collab with you. How could I contact you?
do ypu have a video how to deactivate start/stop sistem for vw?
This can also be done on obdeleven, I noticed the new setting after an update.
Haven’t seen the option but looking for it! Can you help me out?
@@alaing.x.6248In obdeleven you need to click on apps then look for the option Automatic Rain Closing. Not tried it myself but it is now a setting they give you.
You need to click on apps then find the option Automatic Rain Closing.
@@nic.25 unfortunately not visible with my obdeleven. Strange because it is up to date and a do have a rain sensor fitted.
@@alaing.x.6248If you have software version 0.80.0 It should be on there.
This is not the coding in my 2015 Mk7 GSW! The technique is good but no match to the codes.
It's not the same car.
Does is also work for an panoramic roof?
It should close sunroofs too.
I did it to my car but when i try to unlock the car the windows roll down as long as i hold the unlock button
Why didn't anyone else ever think of this? Unfortunately my mk3 Mondeo doesn't have a rain sensor, even though it does have the remote window control.
