What you said is all true. Sometimes I admire the talent and forget that it takes a lot of desire, and hard work as well to shape it. Obviously none of it is lacking with her. Working hard if thats ypur desire is something everyone can do to get better regardless of where our natural talent lies

Most people can work all they want to and cannot make it as a professional athlete, the talent is not there regardless of the dedication. Its just like speed on guitar. To say everyone can learn to rip if they work hard that would mean there is no genetic limit and we are all equal in natural ability. Yngwie could be 10 times faster if he worked harder and more desire to get faster. If you say there is a limit then you have to admit that there is a limit that will differ between each individual just like some people can run fast and some cant.
Bloody hell that was incredible. I've no idea how you arranged all those parts. In any of your shred versions you can be playing some crazy stuff but you never lose the melody of the original track. This one was another level. Absolutely class.
I check in on quite a few of Sophie's videos. The relaxed effortless playing always astonishes. And she looks so happy too.

This is simply pure joy of the guitar and such a pleasure to watch. Her mixture of voice and guitar parts into a virtuosity is simply amazing. Brian May and the entire band need to see this masterpiece. Without a doubt, hands down best video she has ever played and produced. Keep doing it Sophie!

Yes, I too was wondering about the time and effort in setting up recording and the editing. You can tend to lose sight of the hours worked to produce a few minutes of video. When I say editing I'm not for one second suggesting the playing is edited. Sophie's too brilliant to need that plus it's a bit difficult to edit a live on stage performance!! Ayu Gusfanz has a clock with a sweep second hand running when she records so you can see there it's all legit stuff. Love the ' talkies'. Wonderful stuff Sophie. A genuine thrill. 😀

This was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! I'm sure that Freddie Mercury clicked the Like button somewhere up in Heaven. Brian, Roger, & John did too, I'm sure. If I could, I'd click my Like button a zillion times. I am totally blown away by this young lady's talent.

I love “sweet” metal like this (Brian May, Satriani, and i’d say even Tom Scholz, etc.). Not just shred, but tasteful shred, with great feeling! Very lyrical; “a night at the opera”, indeed! Reminds me of “Funtwo’s” rendition of Jerry C’s “Canon Rock” (not just speed, but sensitvity). Full marks, Sophie! 😁

Natanaël Prouteau meant to second your comment in re Satch: Satriani’s “Always With Me, Always With You” is one of his that just has so much emotional color to it! If it were sung instead of being played on guitar, it would be the “showstopper” in a grand opera! It would be absolutely fascinating to hear one of the great tenors tackle it, or maybe a tenor duetting with a coloratura soprano, to cover the full range! Not “talking blues”, but “singing shred”! 😁 Cheers!
