I have all of these, except the 84 mm Tinker. I carry the Tourist, which is an 84 mm Spartan, and a 58 mm Rambler, which has a small straight knife blade, scissors, a nail file, small flat screwdriver, small Phillips screwdriver, cap lifter, and wire-stripping notch.
Same here buddy, I carry either the 91mm Compact or Explorer on a daily basis, and have a 58mm Manager on my Keychain ❤️ But these 84mm sure are cool to have 😊
You should definitely check out the Victorinox Rambler as an upgrade to your Classic SD, I can't tell you how many times that little phillips screwdriver saved the day 😅
I have been thinking about getting a rambler for a while, so far the iffy Philips on the can opener has worked, but I would rather have a dedicated one.
Neat collection :D For about 6-7 years now my edc knife has been the deluxe tinker and I've recently added the sportsman, the climber, the original tinker, and the tinker small to the arsenal.
That file on the Sportsman is on the newer Victorinox Companion. I was going to get the New York 1 but it was sold out, so I ordered the Blue Purple and I think orange 1. I am sure that I won't like it but I have some Green plus scales to change it out. I have been wanting to 91 mm with a File knife, scissors, and I was happy to see a box cutter/package opener on it. I don't know if you seen it or made a video on it because I just found your channel, but I believe it's the same file as the Sportsman though, which I am excited about.
First of all, welcome aboard buddy ❤️ Subscribe if you want to keep up with the channel, I'd very much appreciate that! You are 100% correct about the new Companion model, and I do hope to get one (both for a review AND for personal use), no doubt it'll be my daily driver and instantly replace the Compact - it's just a little too pricey for me at the moment 😊
@israeli_EDC I subscribed after watching this video. I almost waited for a regular release or a similar toolset on a different victorinox, but this is the toolset that I have been waiting for. I don't think it will replace my Compact, since it's my lite carry knife, but it will most likely be my main EDC and my Compact will most likely be a casual or dress clothes or business carry. Sometimes I use my Rambler small file on a rough plastic surface, so having a bigger, wider file will be amazing. I don't really like 4 layer or bigger knives, so I think it's going to be a good fit for me. I also Sometimes need a saw, but you can use the key ring a the parcel hook to hold onto a T shank Jigsaw blade. I do it all the time on my Compact. I have 6 inch blades I carry in a pocket tool pouch. Look up a video and you can show it in a video, if you want to.
Rostfrei (i would pronounce it rah-st-fry but not sure?), is the german word for rust free (so, stainless). Seems like it used to be stamped on some of the older Victorinox models.

While I prefer 91’s and 58’s, 84’s definitely still have there place so it’s great to see your breakdown on them.

I normally edc a climber or huntsman with a classic SD on the keys. I find the keychain knife really helps with my lighter duty edc tasks.

@@mylesthewood You can't go wrong with the Rambler, honestly. It's one of my all-times top three.
Check out the Explorer while you're at it 😉
I carry an 84mm Recruit. I am likely going to get a Bantam for a survival tin. They are cheaper knives on Amazon. I do like the Recruit for edc.
Interesting! My Sportsman has the other type of nail file!
Nice video!! Cool collection!!
Awesome! So that means your Sportsman was manufactured before 2017 😀
I have an 84 with a watch opening tool (single layer) and 2 sportsman (old & new nail file)
Shalom ! Great Video ! My favorite is the Recruit !
Wonderful choice 🌷

I hope you have the new 2023 Winter Magic Alox Cadet coming

Thanks for trying to help! 😍
Nice vid! Givning it a follow 👍🏽
Thank you Rob 🤘
Rostfrei means rust free in German
Thanks!
Use google translate to show you how to pronounce rostfrei.
Just stop imagining letters that aren't there and you will get the pronunciation right.
