It was well over 100 of us, & we had to charter 2 buses & a few vans just to tour back then in the early 90s...

It is so deep that I'm reading your post. This is EXACTLY what happened to me. My family was home on July 4th. My daughter was about to nap, and out of nowhere, I started singing this song. She got up and said, "That's a good one, mom," and started singing with me as I harmonized with her. We song this song in my Youth Choir and now that I’m older these songs come back to my mind just when I need them. I had no idea how powerful the words were back then but they get me through life now and after all that choir rehearsal these are songs I will never forget ❤

This rendition was sung decades ago by the youth choir of Mt. Zion AME Church, 5 Glebe St downtown Charleston, SC. The members were recognized as outstanding blended voices providing music in various genres. This particular piece, as sung by the choir in this recording-- pitch/key should have been lowered, to prevent yelling. Having stated thus, I did hear harmony. Keep up the good work in singing praises to the Almighty.
