The Lindner's are fishing legends. However, I cannot tolerate the Angling Edge content because of the product plugs every 30 seconds. It really degrades the value of the vidoes. Lindner's aren't the only ones. Unfortunately, the entire industry has gone this direction. The blame lands squarely on me and every other angler that spends $1,000s every year on new baits, new technology, etc. I miss the old days of just casting a simple bait and just hoping.
@@joshuahagedorn4537 Well, he should have had enough honesty and integrity to count that as his keeper. Should have done some angler education and sent a good example for others and said that it probably will not survive, but according to regulations he cannot keep it. Honesty trumps BS every day.
James, for someone who grew up fishing using shoreline landmarks to marks spots, does forward facing sonar seem like cheating to you at all? I know you guys are always up on the current technology, but it doesn't even seem like fishing when you know exactly where the fish are and how they react to your baits.
Good video! The music reminds me of the music in some of the original videos Al and Ron made 40 years ago on the Facts of Fishing show! Really enjoyed it!
Sorry but using Livescope is cheating. I wish you not promote a technology that is detrimental to the fishery. Think 5 years down the road when all the large fish are gone. The same people using this technology will be complaining.
@@Bowhunting247 You're completely incorrect. The more fish people catch, the more fish will be kept overall. How many fish are kept in the video is absolutely irrelevant. You somehow think that is a representation of the people that use this technology? It's not just about how many fish are caught and kept. More fish caught means more fish mortality regardless of whether the fish is let go. Not to mention this technology puts a lot more pressure on the fish overall, which is never good.

The fact is, not everyone is going to practice ethical catch and release so this sonar will and already has degraded fisheries. It also increases the overall pressure onto the fish, a fact which you seem not able to comprehend. You live in a bubble along with all of the marketing people. It's all about making money, not protecting our resources..

This is the first video I’ve seen on Mega Live utilizing the Green and Red color palette. At first glance it appears easier to identify fish.
I always kinda use this color but blue background with red and yellow might even be better

If you keep on catching fish and release out of 20+ feet of water all you are doing is killing those fish. This is from a fishery biologist.
