    I recommend when compressing the caliper pistons to first open the brake fluid reservoir. This will reduce pressure on the pistons and make it easier to compress. Also, depending upon whether you've been topping it off, you don't want it to overflow, so remove some of the fluid if it's at the "MAX" mark.

      Thankyou James ! My pleasure, sadly it was not my car but a friends', so please make the most of your V8 for me 😄 !
      For the calipers make sur you take a good quality paint (high heat resistance). Cheers.

    Thank you very much for the video. I have the new rotors setting in the my car now and that is today's project. Wish I had seen the video earlier and I would have picked up some heat resistant paint also.

    The only thing I did not do and u did not do in the video was clamp ur hose once u put the clamp on The pistons ! Does the bad fluid go back in our system ?

    • @fab-b9818
      @fab-b9818  5 років тому +1

      No need to clamp as we don't open the brake hose, When we push back the piston a small amount of fluid is pushed back but it's not an issue. What is importnatn though is to fully bleed the brakes every 2 years to have new one.

    Don't believe they made 4.6l on a 2011 Mustang. The fact you don't even know what your car is, Seems pretty scary your making a "how too" video......

    • @fab-b9818
      @fab-b9818  5 років тому +1

      It wasn't my car, first of all, and check your knowledge before writing, the 4.6 V8 was available on the 2005 to 2013 Mustangs...

    • @jasonweiss7757
      @jasonweiss7757 5 років тому +1

      @@fab-b9818 I believe my knowledge is just fine, I believe you need to check yours. The 2011 to 2014 Mustangs have the Gen I Coyote which is a 302 cu in 5.0 L. The 2010 was the last year to have a 4.6 L. More reason why you shouldn't be making a "how to" video.

      Orally I said 2011, it was a mistake, working on different cars I sometimes get mixed up, but in the video description I wrote 2009. The brakes are the same I believe so the engine type (4.6 or 5.0) isn't relevant.
      Now tell me what's wrong in the way I proceeded for the brake change because that's what's important, much more that a production year.
      And guess what, I have over 400 "how to" videos on my french channel, helping a lot of people out, do you think I'm going to stop for a couple of guys like you who complain for criticise for the smallest things ?!
