There are negative metal elitists who say the 'real' old metal is dead. One can ask what real metal is, and one can ask, "Are you stuck in old metal?" This weeks uploads proove that metal is alive and shines bright. Metal made by (with all respect) older people/legends and younger people all over the world. Cheers, and have a nice weekend all.
K-Pop has been a guilty pleasure of mine for a few years now so I'm pleased to see that K-Metal is a thing. I liked this and it's great to see bands singing in their own language. Be'Lakor - Aussie band ! Cheers Hedgy.
I loved it! a distinct melody to the song, great riffs mixed in, and leads that fit the song instead of just widdly bits thrown on top. And two flying V guitars and a Rickenbacker bass! Man, that takes me back. Though I've largely lost interest in death metal vocals, sometimes they still work best for a song.
According to another korean metal band (and comments under their videos) that just had it's 18th active birthday, Noeazy, the metal scene in SK is tiny. Mostly small to tiny clubs. A real shame, for some bands. That intro bit (the organ-y bit) of the song sounds really familiar and nostalgic. I can't remember where I'd have heard it, though.
The universal language of metal 🤘 If I may suggest a song good for the gym, driving or taking over a small village, Lay Down Rotten - Gospel of the Wretched ua-cam.com/video/c7U-VTWEmzM/v-deo.html Skol 🍻

Yup, what you said, Charles.
I concur.
I liked this one, it wasn't your normal formula. Some nice ideas and killer leads.
You say, "meat and potatoes." I say, "proper metal."
