The way he got zero is -5x-12=-7x-12
-5x+7x=-12+12
2x=0
Any number divided by zero is zero

-5x+7x=-12+12 the twelves makes zero and the -5x+7x=2x

I think you put -7x over to -5x. It becomes 2x. Then -12 +12 since you took the other -12 over which gives you 2x = 0. And 0 divide by 2 = 0

Sorry i got a positive 2x=0
2x = 0, turns into x = 0 because you 2x/2 = 0/2 right? and 0/2 = 0 anyway so the answer is 2x=0
