Any time you come across this kind of question were it ask us to solve for X but our X is power always make the base equal so that you can equate the power and solve for X.
You do know though that everytime you square an unknown you lose a solution? This also the same reason why we don't "cancel out " unknowns. the solution we lose from squatng the unknown is -1/9 . if we let y = x^0.5 instead, we solve this as a quadratic equation without losing the solution. Forgive me I'm a purist I mean no harm.
Very nice but it would have been best if he had verified the answer 1/9 because the square root of an exponent is a little unusual. v1/9 = 1/3 2^1/3 = (2^3)^1/9 2^1/3 = 2^3/9 2^1/3 = 2^1/3
An alternate solution for final answer once you have X = 9 * (X ^ 2) X / 9 = X ^ 2 (X / 9) / X = (X ^ 2)/X divide both sides by X 1/9 = X X = 0 second value assumed by inspection
I have a question sir. (3x)^2 is the same as (3x)X (3x) right? So aren't we supposed to use the law that says "when you're multiplying powers of the same base you add the exponets" that our answer is 3x^2 ???
Before watching: First and foremost, x=0 gives us 2^0=8^0 -> 1=1, so x=0 is a solution. Are there others? Well, 8 =2^3, so the right hand side can be written as 2^(3x). We now have the same base raised to two different powers equal to one another; this can only work if the powers are equal. Thus we have Sqrt x = 3x. Square both sides... X = 9x^2 Divide each side by 9x to get... 1/9 = x Our solutions thus, are x=0 and x=1/9.
The very question here is: how long does it take to explain the obvious to somebody thinking Math is the nickname for Matthew? The answer is: 3 minutes 33 seconds.
@@justgaming9890 Yes 2³=8. To find the value of x you need to make bases to be the same. On the left hand side the base is 2 and on the right hand side the base is 8. 8 is the same as 2³=8. Therefore in the equation where there is 8 you replace with 2³ in older for bases to be the same.
Good explanation sir , keep it up, thanks 👍👍👍
I have liked it sir thanks.

Top. Excelente aula.

I really enjoyed it... Thank you so much
Bom vídeo.
Easy but genius thanks
Thanks sir, it came at the right time
Thank you sir
Thank you sir l can now do it my self thanks again ❤
I do appreciate sir
Easy and understandable
Thank you so much easy and understandable
That's great thanks
Great job
Thank you. It was well explained. It brings back good memories.
Thank you so much Sir
Existe alguna aplicación práctica de estas ecuaciones?
Ó solo son teorías complicadas?
Instead of using quadratic equations, we can also use indices to arrive at the same answer.
I would like to know how x=9x² can be solved by indices
Thank you best ❤❤❤
thanks for teaching sir
Very very nice
Nice 👍 solution
Or just take log base 2 on both sides
Am enjoying ba sir❤❤❤
3 determines how many times 2 multiply by itself to get 8
Getting the square root doesn't mean you square a number but instead raise it to one half
Thanks sir for teach

The solution is okay
Try taking the natural log of both sides: √x*ln2=x*ln8; x=(ln2/ln8)^2=1/9
Check: 2^(1/3)=8^(1/9)=∛2
Is great
Where have u got the next 2 from

v1/9 = 1/3
2^1/3 = (2^3)^1/9
2^1/3 = 2^3/9
2^1/3 = 2^1/3
Thanks
OBRIGADO TEACHER. ENTENDI!
Thanks
2 cube =8 and when we shift root symbol from one side to the another it turns to square
An alternate solution for final answer once you have X = 9 * (X ^ 2)

(X / 9) / X = (X ^ 2)/X divide both sides by X
1/9 = X
X = 0 second value assumed by inspection
画蛇添足,狗尾续貂。等号两边可以约分,为什么不约分?约分后结果不就得到了吗?
Terima kasih
THIS WAS TOO MUCH EASY!
Yeah I solved it in my head in 5 seconds 😅

How did you have power 3
9x^2
I am from India but I like a video ❤❤❤❤
Neden beğenmeyesin ki? Matematik dünyanın her yerinde aynı ve senin milliyetinle bir alakası yok. Ucube😂

x-9x^2=0 is a 2nd order equation and needs 2 answers, x=0 and x=1/9.
The minimum number.

No. (3x)^2 is not the same as (3x)x. They are totally different
Master I think when the bases are the same you cancelled them or
That's what he did
How did you come with 9 and x carries power 2?
same question
Take square root of both sides
Take square root of both sides
X=0 etX=1/9
Can we solve this by taking log on both the sides?
show yapmana gerek yok. böylece çözüver işte. basit yol.
🎉
Please can someone help me to learn math I will never forget him and God bless him 😢😢

Can't we use x(x-9)=0
Sir there is a quicker and easier method
3x=√x
3= √x/√x×√x
3=1/√x
3√x=1
9x=1
X=1/9
1/9, 0
He forgot to give the condition that x not equal to 0😂😂
I didn't stress myself doing this
The answer is 1/9
X=0 and X =1/9
X=1/2

So what happened to the 9x squad
omg🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
X= 1/9 or X=0
You are ✅️
Don't type over the letters.
What about zero
Sir where has 3 come from
Cennetin 7. katından geldi😂
0 or 1/9
1/9
the ans is x=3^½/3
x=1/9
Based on inspection alone, x = 0 works. 1 = 1. Is there another solution? Yeah, do some log work, but I don't give a rip.
X = 1/9
0 and 1/9
✅
Sir where power 2 come from?
Since we want to find the value of x, you need to square both side so that x remains itself on the left side of an equation.
2 to the power 3 is 8

How do you get 9 please
3 raised to the power of 2 is 9
3 is multiplying itself two times

Either 0 or 1/9
