Love it. I also loved the plant and looked it up. It's a monstera in case anyone is wondering.
yes a great plant! :)
OMG!!!! This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! Yeeesss! Thank you!!!
Jemease Tate did you do it? i’m about to!
Chloe Peterson YEESSS GIRL!!! I did and I looove it!!!! However, I have to redo the handles because I didn’t allow them to properly dry before replacing them! 🥴 I get a lot of compliments!!!
Jemease Tate now i’ve gotta try it!
Chloe Peterson I promise you won’t regret it!!! I wish I could’ve used pink but I had to use a light pastel green to match the walls in my apt.
Jemease Tate i didn’t have enough paint at home for the refrigerator but i did my microwave and it looks amazing 😍
There is appliance paint I used on my deep freezer. Came out great
What is the brand of appliance paint? Do you think Rustoleum will suffice?
great color combo!!
I love this! But if you get the rustoleum paint WITH primer spray paint you could’ve done the whole fridge and handles in half the time with less work and use a roller to smooth out any drip areas
I used rustoleum primer and then spray paint on my door knobs, surface was sand and it’s still peeled off very soon:( Bummer.
some spray paints wear off fast. i would add a coating :)
This is beautiful.
I went to Home Depot tonight to buy some paint for my refrigerator because I was so inspired by this video! But they told me that the paint probably won't stay for long because it has such a smooth finish, the paint won't have anything to stick to so it will just peel off.
How does yours look now after I guess 10 months of having it painted? Is it peeling? Do you mind posting a picture of what it looks like now? What kind of paint did you use? Sorry for all the questions! Lol
I believe thats why she sanded it down... so it has something to stick to.
yes sanding is super important. you can feel the surface going from glossy to matte, then you can prime and paint it :)
a piece of rainbow do you have a picture of it now????
a piece of rainbow wich paint did you use for ? Which brand? Thanks
Sherwin williams tame teal.
poor man's Big Chill Classic Fridge
Gold is a bold choice. Turned out lovely. No need to seal anything?
sealed the handle with clear coat acrylic :)
a piece of rainbow thank you!
How has this held up over time/use? Is their chipping or issues with cleaning it
it's been a year and has held up great! :)
Beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
Looks great!
Thanks! :)
@@Apieceofrainbow No problem!
Does anyone know if the handles were sanded before they were sprayed ? It didnt show that they were sanded so I am not sure.
Great job on your project. Its beautiful.!!!
definitely sand them well! :)
When you painted the ice/water dispenser, did you use a handheld brush and paint the pedals?
What kind of paint did you use??
sorry just saw this! :) i used sherwin williams paint. you can use any latex or arylic paint!
Nice
loved your fridge video do you have a video on bathtub and bathroom tiles?
thanks! we are working on one next month! :)
Awesome!
Thank you! Cheers!
Which primer and paint you use?
Can we use wood and metal paint?
Can we use chalkboard paint?
I want to paint my grey fridge to black,do I stil need to apply primer first?
Please reply
I have a white minifredge that I want to paint red. Can I spray painted or is it better to use chalk paint? The fridge paint is pretty good, not rusted or anything at all.
sorry just saw this! i personally don't think spray paint is as durable as these roll on paint. i have tried appliance epoxy spray also, didn't like it! :)
😍😍😍
Did the ice and water parts get painted as well? Wondering how that held up?
yes those parts were painted and held up great. just FYI though, we never use the dispenser before or after the project. :)
After 2 years, how has the color held up on the handles?!
Yes! In my blog I did mention that we ended up using acrylic paint after the first few weeks. It is much more durable and everything has held up great! :)
Did you seal the gold paint at all ?
yes! i didn't at first but realized it's such a high use area that it's a must! :)
Did you paint the inside or just outside?
just outside
Is that stainless steel fridge?
powder coated white fridge! :)
I waited to watch you paint inside the water/ice dispenser 😑
sorry! it was painted with the same roller, and a soft brush where the roller can't reach! :)
white color was way better than the color you chose
