I love that the biggest struggle this character has is his mindset like all of us, we struggle with not seeing the better more powerful version of ourselves and dislike getting out of our comfort zone. i love megumi and it just hurt to see him blocking his own potential

I think you are right, the fact that Sukuna already died along with Yuji and none of them are dead today taught Gojo that killing Sukuna wouldn't end Megumi's soul, so he can kill them and have plenty of time until he figures out how to bring only Megumi back.
Gojo is not an idiot that carelessly think he is the strongest and Gege already proved us that he doesnt make his characters speak without a good reason behind it so I am 100% sure that Gojo got a plan for that fight and I just wonder if Yuji's curse technique is part of it or its for later.

Gojo has to has seperate plans just incase he loses and what to do in the event that happens so I'm sure things will hopefully go his way but we'll see. If he doesn't have backup plans then that just seems like an unnecessary loss
Does anyone think cursed corpses will play a role in saving Megumi somehow? Learning the secret to cursed corpses doesn’t seem to be a plot point that many people bring up very often.
I thought he was gonna turn a part of megumi's soul into a cursed object somehow, kill Sukuna's soul inside of megumi's body and then feed the cursed object megumi back to his own body. Kinda like taking all the data except a virus off a computer wiping the computer so the virus doesn't exist then putting the data back on
I'm thinking there's some sort of connection between nobara and cursed corpses. She's been shown as having a very close relationship with panda (even pictured a couple of times wearing clothing with pandas decals or entirely panda themed) and resonance and yagas felting are quite similar.

Gojo “saved” 1 of Sakuna’s fingers to make sure Yuji lives. I feel like Nobara will use her straw doll technique to weaken or damage Sakuna’s soul just enough for Megumi to regain control, OR enough for Yuji to force Sakuna’s soul into his own.
Durning the shibuya arc, we learned from Mahito that Nobaras strawdoll affects the person’s soul so the vessel could potentially be unharmed if nobara uses her technique

I really liked the thery. I have my own theory on how Yuta's technique works. I think He stores a part of the soul do the sorcerer he wants to copy inside rika (the shikigami, not the girl). When Rika died he activated his technique instinctively so that's how Rika the girl got trapped inaide the shikigami and the shikigami just copied what was inside Rika's soul which was her.feelings through Yuta. So how does this explain Yuta's technique? Kenjaku mencioned that teh soul and the body are related so yuta can acces the soul of another sorcer if he stores a part of their body inside the shikigami named Rika. This could be blood, a limb,etc. Also there has been hints to the soul being related tonde cursed technique so if yuta is able to store a part of a sorcerer inside rika, he gains acces to the information of the soul and those the information about his cursed technique and how to used it. I really liked your theory and I also think it complements mine ( I also have a theory of how this relates to sukuna, kenjaku and tengen being able to posses other's bodies and how this would affect the abilty of reverse cursed technique)
Agreed. So why do you think Kenjaku slandered Yuta on the basis that his copy ability is a "result of detaining his loved one's soul?" Its the explicit reason he gives for why Yuta cannot ever become the next Satarou Gojo. As if the detainment of a soul is somehow a critical weakness

The themes of the series aren't just "challenging shone tropes" i don't think the theme is that the world is shit and you can't do anything about it aither so I doubt that it will result in a beloved character just going crazy and not being saved from it.
naw i don’t see it as “challenging Shonen bs” you could argue that was already done when one of the main 3 died, but the way we are still in the dark about nobara stings. I do agree with megumi being completely broken he got possessed by sukuna and he can’t suppress him at all, and he def blames himself about his sister dying and not seeing that she was possessed from the beginning. But you could say yuji will be there for him IF he comes out of this alive. It’s going to come full circle from Yuji eating the finger to protect megumi and now he has to protect him from the curse he ate in the first place 😭😭 I really do hope they come out of it alive if it means gojo dying

(haven't finished the video) when speaking on innate domains, i think it's interesting to bring up the fact that when mahito touched sukunas soul in the iconic junpei arc, they were in sukunas innate domain. no sharing bodies, no nothing. also very important to note that yuji was not there, sukuna separated him out

It’s still my belief that megumi will live, yuji will body swap to have sukuna back into his body. Gojo will likely die in the process, but saving his student. Sukuna will likely die in yuji’s body, or be suppressed so much by yuji’s new control over souls, that sukuna will be a powerless entity being forced to watch the world from inside yuji’s body. A fate worse than death for someone like sukuna
I think it’s possible that Gojo kills Sukuna, and after Sukuna is in his inmate domain, Yuji is able to enter it and along with Megumi, finish off Sukuna’s soul once and for all. Yuji and Sukuna have already fought inside that domain. It’s possible we will see that again. After that, I think Kenjaku will have reached a level way beyond that of Gojo or Sukuna, for which they are going to need everyone to fight him. I think this will be a fight that will not include Gojo because he will be incredibly injured after his battle against Sukuna. It will be Yuta, Yuji, Maki, Hakari and a much stronger Megumi who will fight Kenjaku. Let’s remember, it has been mentioned that Yuji would inherit Sukuna’s curse techniques and curse energy at some point. I think this is more the case with Megumi, because Sukuna has been fighting and using techniques many more times on Megumi’s body than he did on Yuji. I personally think Megumi will keep some of Sukuna’s curse energy, but not all. I think he will have curse energy comparable to Yuta, his version of the Shikigami will be much more monstrous, obviously he will be able to use Mahoraga, the ability to use RCT and a complete domain. I think at the end of the series the power rankings will be as follows: 1- Gojo 2- Yuji 3- Megumi 4- Yuta 5- Maki 6- Hakari.

Gojo won't beat sukuna. Kashimo character is based entirely on fighting sukuna and revealing his CT he hid against hikari. megumi most likely will be the only one standing in the end.

My favorite outcome: Gojo manages to kill Sukuna (but is critically injured, so he will die also soon), and Yuji manages to go inside Sukunas/Megumis body.
There, Megumi and Yuji take on a weakened Sukuna in the innate Domain.
This way the problem of Gojo and/or Sukuna being around and too strong (therefore ending the story if either of them wins the fight and lives) is gone and the tension is still very high for the fight inside of Megumi, because we have witnessed what Sukuna can do against Gojo.
In the end Megumi gets his body back and the merger starts with Kenjaku and his merger being the final villain.
A bit cliche and maybe too predictable, but i would like it.

I think the only other option than using Jacobs Ladder would be using the fact it is an innate domain, domain being the keyword. From what we know touching ones soul can in fact, make you interact with ones innate domain, we saw this with Mahito, so wouldnt it be possible for Gojo to actually weaken Sukuna/Megumi's Body to the point where he has to enter his "soul" and activate his Domain, we know Sukuna can use his Cursed Techniques inside his Innate Domain (based on how he made his Binding Vow with Yuji). So realistically if not Jabocs Ladder one would need to infiltrate said limited space in a limited time while Sukuna and his host are both on the brink of death. Wild.
Sukuna is also a proficient user of RCT and has more than twice the amount of CE as yuta. I don’t think sukuna can actually be incapacitated without being fully killed especially with ten shadows and his yet to be revealed CT. Maybe yuji can do something if gojo wears him out since it’s been hinted his CT has something to do with the soul, but I doubt gojo can run sukuna out of CE so he can’t heal himself. I did kida forget about angel tho so something might come out if that.

You forgot to mention Megumi also fought his father at one point during the Shibuya arc, so Clearly his father was re-animated back at one point which Megumi can do too as a cursed tool like the cursed womb spirits. Technically Yuji is a cursed womb spirit.
A good theory is that Sukuna also known as the Fallen is sort of related to Lucifer who fell from heaven. Sukuna possibly realized in order to sustain immortality you must die with hatred as an embodiment of your soul in order to achieve becoming a Cursed spirit which therefore allows the user eternal youth as all cursed spirits even exorcised will return overtime.

oh damn, glad you made this video. I think you are super close to be honest. Is there a third option though...? Narrative speaking thats a lot of gojo doing everything, and something as important as bringing back Gumi i think is far too important for Angel, what is YuJi and all that one month training was to get yuji ready to deal with all that soul swapping/fighting hijinx? Or am i crazy. I am not using any evidence of anything we just know that yuji knows the inner workings of sukunas domain better than anyones. I feel also most if not all of his knowledge on lot of this stuff is nature over nurture. He may never be able to explain how he was able to keep sakuna subdued in his body but clearly he knew how to call sakuna in and out at will for the most part.
Anywho I think you nailed it, but i just hope that the end fix is something to do with yuji and his abilities no one elses.

I think Gojo can perceive the soul. The fact that he was able to trigger getos soul to take action in shibuya. On top of the points you made make it seem that way at least. And the fact he distinguished between Sakunas CR and Yujis growth in CE in the goodwill event arc also points to that being the case. But who knows

Ah! I was just thinking Angel role wasn't done, not yet. Also when Yuji said she wasnt a replacement for Nobara i got the feeling something is going to happen with all 3 of them Yuji Angel and Megumi again.
I think the only way to defeat Sukuna is by having Megumi cooperate and that is by being able to reach his soul.
A last thing to note as well is when Getos body reacted against Kenjaku when confronting Gojo for the first time. I think thats very crucial to where the soul is

Yoooo this was a well thought out theory Mere .... Mereicals can happen. This theory would make for an epic fight inside the innate domain of Ryumen Sukuna. I honestly see Yuj being able to enter if say the worst would come to pass and Gojo succeed in killing Sukuna but not being able to finish off his Soul. I think we will need explanation as to how Maki Yuta or Hakari were to enter with Yuji. We know Yuji got that Soul knowledge from Yuki but he also has Soul experience......probably more than anybody other than Sukuna (DUH) Gojo(another 'duh'just not as big) and possibly Tengen or 🧠 👄 . Yuki only got that knowledge which combined with with Yuji conscious and subconscious experiences with Soul level Sorcery will make for a combatant worthy of finishing off Sukuna.
I have a theory and I think Kugisaki could potentially be making a return! I think they are purposely keeping her hidden so that Sukuna won’t be expecting her. So technically sukuna’s soul goes into an innate domain whenever he’s kill, so technically he’s not dead. But Kugisaki’s Resonance is the only cursed technique that affects the SOUL that’s why hers was the only one (other than Yuji) that could land a hit on Mahito. They’re gonna kill sukuna, extract his soul from megumi’s body and then nobroda will land the final blow :D

I would like to touch up on this theory as its a good one. I don't think Gojo will be the one to KILL Sukuna or weaken him far enough to have him stripped from Megumi. I believe this task falls on Yuji especially with his theories revolving around the soul. Yuji is the only other character in the series who has a strong link to the concept of SOULS in the series. Another point I would like to add as a possibility is that Gojo already reaching a point of enlightenment might experience another enlightening moment where he can store souls similar to Kenjaku does when reincarnating sorcerers from the past. So in a perfect world using this theory, Gojo and Sukuna fight. Sukuna wins ultimately in the end against Gojo or does he? Gojo's main plan being to find a loophole in sukuna's soul defensive abilities and passes on this information to his students who he believes will surpass him. Once this information has been observed and understood by the JJK high students. They finish where Gojo left off now knowing all of Sukuna's abilities, counters, and weaknesses. Angel could still be used for jacobs ladder but knowing this probably wont work a second time on Sukuna as most things never do, It's up to YUJI itadori the real winner in this scenario to deal the damaging soul crushing blows to Sukuna or trap sukuna's soul long enough for ANGEL to do her thing. Megumi being his own individual soul will be stored or preserved in some way or fashion and resurrected using the methods similar to KENJAKU's technique of reviving ancient sorcerers. This would make sense also because we know these sorcerers can also use their own appearance if they wish to. Meaning megumi technically can keep his fan favorite look or get a new visual if he so desires.

Hmmm I think the only reason why yuji appeared in sukuna's innate domain after death was because sukuna simply pulled him in there like what happened when talking to angel because sukuna had a plan in mind already to possess megumi due to seeing his potential. If sukuna had no such plan I don't think yuji would have been pulled in by sukuna into his innate domain and sukuna would most probably just let him die. But idk... great observation and good theory still!

I think you're right in thinking that Gojo will kill Megumi's body and send Sukuna into his innate Domain. But I don't think that Hana can exorcize Sukuna with killing Megumi because he's been in Megumi's body for too long, Angel made it a point to cleanse Megumi the moment he got possessed because Sukuna's soul didn't adjust to his body yet.
I think Yuji is going to switch bodies with Megumi to not only save Megumi but also remove Ten Shadows from Sukuna. Which means Megumi ending up in Yuji's body. A body that has a deeper understanding of cursed energy due to Yuji's affinity towards pulling of black flashes.
So Megumi will come back with a stronger body and a mentality that's dedicated to killing Sukuna

@semekiizuio Basically my train of thought is that Megumi remains in Yuji's body since this is the final fight. I also think that it'd be a battle in both the innate Domain and the real world. Yuji will be fighting Sukuna in the innate Domain and Megumi will be fighting Sukuna in the real world.

I agree that this is Gojos plan, however I dont think he is the one who will attack Sukunas soul. If you think back, Sukuna says that Gojo probably has the last finger. And a certain character who hasnt been confirmed dead has the ability to attack a persons soul with a part of them. 🤷♂️ I really think gojo is trying to set up Nobara to use resonance on Sukunas finger to kill him.

In theory, now that she can perceive the soul of objects, could Maki cut their souls in such a way that seperates them, this has been my thought since megumi first became the vessel, using toji's katana she could simply cut them apart. The real question for me is whether he will go back to Yuji after this or simply just die.
i have a weird feeling gojo is going to punch a hole through meguna's chest right as meguna is going to stab both thumbs through gojo's eyes detroying the six eyes power. Megumi will probably switch back right when the heart is destroyed and will die killing sukuna as well. if i'm wrong so be it, but thats my assumption. I assume the final finger will be consumed by kenjaku or mixed with the merger.
I think it's a bit different then that. I feel like it's probably going to be a situation where gojo puts sukuna back in yuji.

I think Angel states in the manga that they can't separate the soul of the reincarnated sorcerers from the vessels.
He will kill Sukuna and use the last finger he has to revive Megumi. When he revives, Yuji will transfer his soul into Megumi and fight one finger Sukuna and kill his soul.
Let me give you the reason why Sukuna will surely win this battle, for the plot to progress. Gojo dying means everyone will have to step up, and Megumi killing or Surpassing Gojo narrative, the whole 10 shadows vs Limitless 6 eyes narrative from early chapters will finally get its fruitiin. On the other hand, if gojo wins this, there will be no point for Sukuna's character doing all these problems from the start. He's the big baddy. The big baddy which affected lots of people's lives especiall Megumi and Yuji. And if anyone has the biggest purpose of beating Sukuna it's is these 2.

i think you're onto something in the latest leaks gojo is bodying sukuna in his own domain and we know from the maha fight that sukuna doesnt have an insane amount of cursed energy i think gojo is gonna play the long game drain sukuna of his cursed energy and then when sukuna is unable to use his domain gojo will use his incapacitating sukuna for some time while they use jacobs later or yuji comes and swaps bodies where gojo will kill them both and or yuji will kill himself along with sukuna

Gojo can't "see" the soul in the literal sense, it's more of like knowing others souls, how "bonds" connect the soul. Geto's soul died and that bond was severed, so he was able to tell the soul in Geto's body wasn't his friend.
