I don’t think I’ve ever burnt out this fast on a league since Poe beta. It feels like this caters to a certain type of player and that player ain’t me.
How much graveyard have you done? If it’s not a lot then your burnout is from watching videos and hearing things and not really from burnout from playing
im playing "brosf" with two mates, farmed 2 days for my craft -> bricked and went mad and spent all my essences and fossils and stuff to get something out of frustration, i dont know if i will even try to do it again. its just exhausting and for a casual WAY to much effort to put in. 2/10 league experience for me ..
I'd recommend using some of the fracture corpses and the reroll explicitly. Get a pretty good chance to at least nail a good base (with potentially 2+ fractures). It's saved a few of my crafts where I'm able to eldritch craft or similar after the fact.
I crafted one item with half graveyard. A sceptre. Came out with +1 all, tier 1 crit chance and multi, t1 Fire damage to spells. Its pretty decent considering I only ised half the graveyard
gotta say I feel like I'm done with this league, this is not crafting to me, it's just following blueprints of other people because it's borderline impossible to understand what you have to do to get a good item without looking up what to do. you could argue I don't have to follow guides or blueprints, but I don't have the time to figure this stuff out on my own. I mean even fulltime streamers are not sure how everything works after a week.... this is not for me. but I guess, have fun everyone :)
Its actually extremely straighforward. If you dont want res for example, you reduce the chance of res. Streamers min max for better odds, thats about it.
Not stacking makes them sell you more tabs. I've never seen GGG react so fast to a league mechanic (maybe Kalandra?) "failure". So far it is the most disappointing thing about this league and will probably make me quit much earlier.

You can really easily make your own fractured bases and then old-school craft on them. You can even get two and three fractured items and start your crafting from that point lol
@@matthiashornke9969 Theres corpses with 25% chance to fracture, 4 gives you 100% chance which will always fracture 1 mod and 8 gives 200% chance which always fractures 2 mods. A simple use I did earlier in the week was just boosting speed+chaos on a pair of boots with -2 modifiers and then decreasing everything else so that I had a 98% chance for 35% movement speed and t1 chaos res fractured on them to then craft further with avoid ailments essences.
I think theres also the fact that the graveyard crafting is much better for certain items than others (ele bows vs phys bows or just spell build sceptre/shields in general) so I can certainly see the pain of trying to make the grave crafting work with items like sceptre and shield for this build. Knowing how likely I am to waste my time trying to hit a sceptre for my miner I've just been focusing on getting armour slots instead while upgrading the sceptre+shield with essences the old way. Being able to get boots with fractured 35% speed+t1 chaos resistance for example made hitting good suppress+avoid ailments on them super easy and I only went for the double fracture because I wanted to limit it to two mods I could focus all the %increase on.
If he says it would take him 2 days to farm those corpses, it would take me 2 weeks. 85% chance at getting the item is'nt high enough for me and f%ck trading for them in that game.
I think I'd enjoy graveyard crafting a bit more if: (for trade) we could easily bulk buy corpses & filter trade site for corpse type (would love to have them remove corpse name which has only a couple of meaningful interactions). And in general, way better interface for placing and checking corpses (like a top-down view). UI/UX is still trash, and takes forever to setup.
did you consider the chance for an additional item corpses to reduce the randomness a bit? you would drop 5-10 corpses, but get 2-3 items. If we assume you have 80% with all 88 corpses and you go down to 60% per item with 78 corpses, then you still end up with a 93,6% chance that at least one of them is what you want
As a newer player who prefers SSF I love this mechanic, very straightforward way to get great midrange items. First league I've gotten some real progression going because in the past I found it too complex to make that first step from trash items I found on the ground to gear with modifiers I actually want.
he is talking about how awefull it would be to trade for all the corpses but its a good ssf friendly method.....i did a craft with like 50 corpses just to get a decent 2h axe the typical high flat phys axe and i didnt even hit a single phys roll. yes its sooooo ssf friendly^^ (im ssf btw) so fuck this garbage crafting method. by the time you have the corpses together in ssf you would have hit the roll you wnat with chaos spam lol
This seems so much worse then recomb both in the amount of trading and annoying factor and doesn't have the upside of adding a ton of value to dropped items. It is also way less straight forward then harvest. Not a super enjoyable experience to me but we shell see.
It's funny because I've been doing the method you were talking about where I slowly built up my crafting for a fire spell sceptre. I think I got really lucky because I got: +54 Strength Adds 52 to 90 fire damage to spells +158 maximum mana +1 to level of all fire spell skill gems 40% increased burning damage 20% chance to ignite I invested barely anything and ended up making a 10 divine spectre for myself. If I was in SSF I would absolutely crap myself.
88 corpses? I havent even found 88 different corpses yet and Im in early yellow maps. I find one corpse about every 6-7 maps and more often then not they are ones I already have, additional affixes, quality etc.
It is hilarious playing EA this league because of how bad gravecrafting is for your needs. Suppress is untagged, so making suppress gear is REAL hard and since you're an Elementalist, you need high rolls on every piece you can get it. Your bow is a +gems BUT you also want ele damage with attacks or a high flat roll, as well as the also untagged Dot Multi. At least it's never been easier to get a 6L i86 short bow, I even put 30 quality on it for pretty cheap too.
Bulk corpses just do not sell, only specific things sell and that even as a seller is horrific to do. I have 1.5 quad tabs full of corpses, have had no luck on selling this in bulk. Been posting on TFT constantly, very draining
Truth is for a good crqft u need to be 100% precise with corpse and use all graves otherwise you will get a bricked or trash item , its just you do it 100% right or you go home lol , so ita not a good thing for 99.99% of us sadgely .
you can get +1 to item level corpses, so if you get some good/rare low level corpses and compensate it but i dont know how much influence the corpse level has, both my crafts with level 80+ and mix of low level from i dont know maybe level 40 to 78 are both dogshit.
Please dont spoil the outcome in the video title. Name it something like "I tried to craft XYZ". That makes watching the video so much more interesting IMHO.

This crafting is so complex is not even funny. Is good they actually made changes to the base game or I would have quit by now .
Nothing about it complex, the corpse does exactly what it says and the mod summary gives you a general idea. Fossil crafting is just as complicated

How many of the meta crafting(row/col/adj) mods did you use? Can they significantly improve odds?
You can really easily make your own fractured bases and then old-school craft on them. You can even get two and three fractured items and start your crafting from that point lol

The atlas nodes hugely increase the drop rate. In t16s I get probably 5 every map.

I did like a 30ish grave craft going for a dot mutli scepter, I did hit multiple t1 stats but only 1 wanted and nota dot multi.
I'm gonna try to craft a double fractured item instead of hoping to get all perfect mods right from the start, seems more viable for sceptre at least.
I appreciate the little crafting tutorials on the note pad, i dont play since like harbinger we didnt have all this crafting and im lost lol.
