Demonstrate the value of a Shroud. Marauder vs Marauder & Shroud. Wraith vs Wraith & Shroud. Gotta make sure the vehicles only target each other, to measure the value of the point defense.

Anyone else notice that the guass upgrade for the mantis lowers the armor of targets it paints? And this stacks per mantis
this is why even once you start using colossus its very good to have a contingent of about 5-6 mantis no matter what your doing for the debuff
Really interesting video! It is pretty rare to have a tie between units, especially since it’s a core vehicle vs a hero. Btw don’t forget about boost powers - Johnson’s macblast gives a damage boost to friendly vehicle units! Would it have made a difference?
Wow those upgrades for Jerome's Mantis really change the effectiveness of it. Jerome Mantis could barely stand up to a regular unit(Yes the Johnson Mantis was upgraded) without upgrades.
You should do 3v3 with hero’s. Random unsc vs random banished
I'd love to see Pavium VS Atriox's Chosen. They're attacks are both fairly similar so seeing which one is *actually* stronger would be cool.
Probably Pavium as I think he has longer range going off of standard attack only
i was really expecting a colossus test after the mantis fell short
I don't imagine full pop colossus could stand up to full pop wraiths or scops, but what about colossus and grizzly?
Can you do a Mythbusters on who does more damage to air units wolverines or marines with rpg?

Wolverines do more damage per shot marines are just cheaper to mass produce
i think the only thing i dont like about this series is that you just sit them stationary and have them duke it out. one of the big advantages the command mantis has is its extremely long range, this is why its incredibly powerful against early infantry rushes because they cant catch it to fight back
The point of the vid isn't to test ranges its simply a raw 1v1 damage test on the 2 units
@@thelastrebel13 but its intrinsically misleading. jeromes mantis especially with him inside could easily take on 20-30 pop of tech 3 mantis through solid micro.
Also no pilot in the command Mantis
If jerome isn't in there it's losing 50 percent of its damage really

You should test a ful pop of johnsons normal mantis and a full pop of the other mech. I forget what it's called

Try Jerome level 3 in mantis and omega team inside level 6 scorpion v 4 scarabs
