2.0T has the 5 speed Nissan variant transmission. People hate on these, but it is a very stout transmission. I have 132k miles on my 2011 Gen Coupe. I have changed the fluid three times and it still shifts like new.
135,000 is getting to the point where issues begin to show up. The timing belt has to be changed at 100k and I seriously doubt the previous owner did it, its a hefty bill.
I have a 2011 Genesis Coupe ( Premium ), had it for two years now ,,, just a great machine and I find the 2.0 LT Turbo good enough for the type of driving I do. Actually I can't get rid of this car quick enough ,, the guys that designed this car must have forgot that it does FUCKING SNOW in certain parts of the world. I've been driving for over fifty years and without question this is the worst car in Winter conditions I have ever owned. It snowed quite heavily where I live yesterday so my Genesis Coupe became inoperable, yes it's parked, unable to go anywhere. No I don't have all season tires, I have Yokohama " Ice Guard " full Winter tires and I also have 400 lb.+ sand bags in the trunk ,,, nope, this car is going no where ! The combination of rear wheel drive and wide tires on the rear is simply stupid as far as the design is concerned ,,, yes Hyundai, it does snow in certain parts of the world. As soon as I can I'm dumping this car for a 4 x 4 SUV. It's a lovely car but don't buy one and expect it to run in snowy conditions.
I drive a 2012 2.0 premium I live in Ontario. Where during the winters can be pretty nasty. Sometimes repeated heats of 12inchs of snow. And my genny drives perfectly fine with snow tires.
Snow tires my friend. I have a set on my Genesis Coupe right now. My poor Veloster N has the Pirelli P Zeros on it so it is up on jack stands right now in my garage. :(
