      What your company produces is not the nessisarly the value of the company. Any money given away could be counted as charity and non taxable income and usually isn't reported with a companies total net worth.

    As of November of 2022 he has pleaded guilty to multiple counts of wire fraud and money laundering to the investigation headed by the IRS, FBI, and DOJ. Depending on sentencing he faces up to 20 years in prison so this story does have a happy ending at least

      That’s the crazy thing. He could have done this legitimately. Just say. “I’ll take 5 random order confirmation numbers and put $1k in that order. You just have to spend x amount on your order to apply”. He still would have made money off of that. Not nearly as much but it would have been legit.

      I personally don't care if he did. I read his book and it gave me a new perspective. I changed some life habits and have since become financially secure. I now have multiple income streams and don't have to worry about my future. Without readig his book, I may have reached the same goals but not nearly as fast.

      Most people would say someone even dumber, but I don't think that's always true. He also faked his own death, went on Argentina national tv and people marched in the street (probably paid actors) to cry for his death, along other lies and scams. It is extremely difficult to recoup losses from fraud of any kind. The sad reality is our legal system, via its tolerance of fraud, actually encourages it because it keep lawyers employed and earning high salaries.

      Agreed. I regularly give to non profit charities. Granted, most of the time its smaller amounts, but I don't plaster it.on social media.

      I never give money to homeless in traffic. They usually use it to buy whatever drug got them in that situation. I’ll offer them food if I have some. What good is giving to the homeless when they won’t do anything to better their situation? They just ask for money even if you give them a $100 bill they’ll still be at that same traffic light asking for more.

      @@cewic4909 nah most of the times homeless people want money to drink alcohol or to smoke something. Everyone in that situation has a vice that got them there. Most of the times it’s drugs. You must live in a nice area to not know that. I lived around crack heads, drug addicts, strippers, the ghetto my whole life. So many people are deep in a hole of drugs. You never know their stories but they are definitely addicted to something.

      @@jeffreyd.4878 what this guy said, I gave $20 to a homeless person by a CVS. They asked for more so I never did that again. I walked near a mcdonalds and went to buy some nuggets and a homeless person said they were starving so I asked them to wait because I’ll be right back. I came back with an extra 20 nuggets and a drink and they told me they didn’t want mcdonalds and asked for money instead lol

      Which makes his scam all the more vile.

      There are people out there who cannot afford food who are preyed on by scammers.

      That comment does not make any sense. Note the Probably. The grammar that makes lacklustre sense.
      The original comment was more to the tune of: They go after desperate people who are struggling to afford food and are living off of scraps, hoping to make it through the week. Which makes it all the more vile. ):
