I love your channel! Learned so much from you. On my second build now. I was cleaning my weber carb on my Isuzu with the straw attachment the high pressure fluid went into the port and right back in my eye! It really sucked!

I'm gona have to do this and I just fixed my gasket it had done a contact piston due to top bolts being loos hopefully it's just a few taps and loosens float

You ain't lying about getting that shit in your eye! I just got out of the hospital from getting carb& choke cleaner in my eye even with safety glasses on... Goggles or face shield would have been much better than trying to get in a hurry...I been in steady pain now for 5 Days this is first day I can look at the light... Keep teaching them safety Boss... OUCH! Get well bro. I have a face mask somewhere and I dont use it enough, Same w/ my respirator. I've got a 29r frame I'm hopng to do a board tracker on one day and will do the exhaust for that. I'm too cheap to pay for a torque converter so unless one falls from the sky don't think I'll do a vid on a TC. Take care
Just wondering, are the inlet on the stock 66cc carb..... 60mm? Ebay are selling them and I wonder if it fits because I have no air filter at the moment, or do I have to modify it?

I have strugled with these carbs for years i typically assume the float is water logged--- going to attempt the spring bend here... can you tell me what the idle screw actually does --like if i turn out is it allowing more air or fuel? what is the best setting for the black lock on the needle - top middle or bottom? -- i started running without a filter - got 2 new carbs on the way

I have one of those HP racing carbs and it leaks when it the bike is tilted sideways on the kickstand? I don't know much about these carburetors but I like them better than the NT.
Thanks man ut video helped bending the ears back stopped the leaking . What i don't understand is how did they get bent in so far🤔 i have 73 miles on it i recently swaped motors and i sat it on the floor but thats all did anywho yousave me money and i learned a couple of things

@@HughesMotorized question I think I bent them back too far it seems like it's not getting gas because it started for a min and I couldn't get it going again it was late . But could that be a issue if the floats adjusted too much it won't let the gas flow? I'll make a video maybe u can advise? Ty in advance again 😁🏃🏃

Question?? I just got a new bike but at first when I try it in the Ally of this guy it was fine, but when I got home w/ bike in my car, I smells gasoline, and is licking all around under the top of the carburetor.
So I don't know if I should put another carburetor, or I have to adjust something like you was doing and make sense like you did Ana you video and I think is something to do like you explained, any ideas what I should do, thanks
Danny Chuqui ,,,. If you lean them over on their side very far they will leak,,,. Just wipe it off let it evaporate and it should be fine,. ???

theres a tiny hole where gas is coming out of on my air filter. it never leaked before and I don't know why its doing it now. its not the idle screw hole or the primer button. its right next to the main hole where air is put into the engine, maybe you could help me out.

I just put together a motor that I bought on Amazon and the engine that I put together the carburetor is leaking gas and I'm trying to figure out the problem and it's like when I try to pedal my bike it wants to get power but it doesn't get power. Need help

I like the NT that comes w/ most kits. I've read that even many who race these things up there in California will run them. Main thing is to jet them properly, have the cylinder ports cleaned up, a good head and expansion chamber.
I just put my80cc stage I flying horse together have spark has compression spark plug is wet with gas cant get it to startat all even after drying spark plug
There is a small pin on top of carburetor which can be pressed down and it has spring which pops it back. May be its a vent not sure what it is for. My carburetor is leaking gas at base of that pin. Will above procedure fix that too? Thanks
That "pin" is what allows one to prime the carburetor for easier starting when the engine is cold. You hold it down for several seconds before starting.

@@HughesMotorized Thank you. I did as you said but I'm having trouble. When I bent those clips inside fuel bowl down then bike hesitates but gas leaking stops. Then I bent it little up again and now hesitation gone but it leaks again a little. Don't know what to do.
my bike starts but hardly gives me any power than it used to. it also won't stay running when I hold in the clutch and come to a stop. I changed the spark plug because it was completely black. it didn't seem to be giving off very much Spark when I tested it. I did notice that the air filter was full of gas. could this be what's wrong and why it's running the way it is? any help is greatly appreciated

Did you check your idle adjustment? I had one that was the polar opposite, runaway motor when the clutch was pulled in. Don't know if idle may be your issue or not. Hope I was helpful. Good luck with your bike.
Try putting ur clip in 2nd notch away from the needle an gas mix ratio should be at 50:1 or 40:1
what would make the engine rev high and not go down to normal idle?

Or how bout hitting the float plunger it isnt a gas primer the bowl will fill up until the float tell it to shut off if it is stuck that is what that push pin it to dislodge the float
Hello Eugene, what if I was riding full speed and I had my tag go into my chain and dragged it into inside the clutch of the little star where the clutch engages?
It broke my chain. And now Its leaking gas the carb nonstop, it emptied the whole gas tank

OMG Thank you sooooo much for putting up this video. My eldest son has a motorized bike and for the life of us we couldn't figure out why it was leaking gas from the air intake. This fixed it. Just a few love taps. We are going to get the cleaner and clean the whole thing out though. It probably needs it. Again, thank you a ton.
So this happened to my new carb so I put my old one on and after the first ride it started leaking just like the new one 😢

So I pressed the bronze button and i want to know 1 what the name of that button is 2 why it keeps letting oil out through the air filter mind you I only pressed it once and now no matter what I do there is oil still being let through the air intake

Hughes Motorized appreciated but I watch this video several times and it doesn’t protain to the bronze button at all
@@cobboy4616 The brass button presses down on the float and allows more gas into the bowl which will let gas flow into main jet. if you are having the issues you are describing, the issue is the carb needs the servicing outlined in this vid. Promise. The gas coming out of the primer button and air filter means the seat that stops the flow of gas into card and shuts it off when full is leaking. Good luck

Is leaking from the carburetor the reason why a bike wouldn't start? Because that's the two issues I am having. The carburetor is leaking and it doesn't want to start.

You can clean, adjust and service it like the video shows
Usually that is the issue, the carb is being flooded w/ gas and the result is no start

Naa I got a nice heavy beach cruiser and I have a 4 stroke but I have a NT carb conversion on it it does about 32mph with a 36 billet sprocket in the back
I did all that three times still leaking any ideas
My stock nt carb 68 jet 4 oz synthetic per gallon, over 300 miles on engine, when I bought the delorto racing carb with wide air intake, it was much richer but lower power, how come with the same Jet size, the nt carb runs leaner? I have way more power with the stock nt carb.
Rick Simpson I have the needle clip usually on top lean or 2nd notch down, I tried a 65 jet it seems to get more top end than a 67 jet yet sometimes at high rpm it s like it doesn't suck any fuel for a second or two, then it will resume, it doesn't stall but it seems flooded or choked at wide open. A hotter plug is a b5hs a b6 is cooler, don't you think a cooler plug will help the engine run cooler? I ordered a gt6 racing engine because I'll still save this one.

Rick Simpson my carb float is at 21mm, a website gave that height to be a ballpark setting. So if I press the tabs down I can add more fuel in the bowl, it could just need a height adjustment like you said

if its slightly cocked, its ok. mines like that and I have no problems of performance issues

The HP carb has no way to a just the float it all plastic in side that's why I will be going back to the speed carb

Unfortunately this is a temporary solution. As long as you have this particular carburetor, sooner or later the problem will surface again! I would recommend on a dellorto or mikuni carburetor as Mathew Piper (Guy commented) suggested or advised.

Everyone I'm new to this like I have a question to ask everyone please help me on I don't want to I just text the whole story and it was a very kind of long story but I was explaining that I basically paid 225 for two frames one has red mags and that's it's a frame and Max the other had a broken frame but a PK pk80 my man had doing 44 Mi an hour I have the bike two days and he completely redid it put it in those supersonic whatever it is bad or cleans all the parts at microscopic levels put the ship back together I get it I have three days also driving it and just shuts off I give it back to him he tells me it's the floater in the car put some new floater in the car I will pick it up I drive at point nine miles exhaust pipe falls off in the motor starts making this crazy sound like I was dragging tin cans my engine I shut it off I called and told me exhaust pipe got loose and after about 30 seconds and engine started making this crazy noise and then shut it off he comes and picks it up has it for 12 days I go pick it up and him $50 changing float then I take it now I take it I get point nine miles away and they lost play starts shaking starts making this crazy noise like like dragging tin cans and I tried to stop and tighten the exhaust and Enchanted lined up the same way it was but it seemed like damage was done so from this dude not tightening up all my s*** my exhaust pipe falls off point nine miles away from his house and he comes picks it up toes it back to his house so I told him this time that I want it I wanted you to put 100cc iron sleep so he got a pk100 iron sleep I picked it up yesterday not today I have took you for a ride and I'm trying to break it in and everybody that's reading this please and if anybody give me tips on how to break it in your engine now I'm going to show you and post a pic can you please tell me if not the not the top head that's from the old engine just the cylinder two-cylinder imma show you supposed to be a pk100 iron sleep please tell me if you think that this dude really gave me a pk100 iron sleeve and upgraded my s*** or did he put on some b******* smaller s*** or I won't be able to tell so if you can tell please let me know what you think it is thank you to anyone and everyone that can help me answer these questions cuz I want to know if I got beat or not cuz it's a very serious issue if this dude beat me is going to be problems so I need all the correct information is at can get thank you in advance
