A tough job well done. Finished product we've all seen in our home centers or counter tops. Wish the cable used to haul those big blocks looked a little less worn. I guess the marbles are made from the scraps they were making.

Собственно и у нас так же. Только стальные стропы в рукавицах. А вся технология дисковой распиловки такая же. Правда есть еще распиловка канатами и штрипсами. Но может и у них есть, просто не показали.

The wire rope around that block is frightening. Easy to see that it should have been cut up for scrap years ago. And these guys are working right next to it.. Bet ten bucks that the crane has no load chart and the operator doesnt even know what a load chart is. The title should be "Suicidal Workers, How to make marbles".

However, if u write marbles, the word refers to the small glassy beads that children play with. I guess, they used to be made of hard stone, like marble is. In any case, however, the correct way to write it if u refer to the rock is marble, or pieces of marble. The same is for granite, for example. U say pieces of granite if u refer to many cut pieces of granite, u don't say or write granites.

2 cm thick granite is 12 to 15 pounds per sq ft. Those slabs look at to be about 2 ft wide and 10 ft long. That's 240 to 300 pounds each. I bet these guys sleep good at night.
No hearing protection and safety glasses. It's not much to buy. The company should provide.If not the workers should demand it. Just spending very little will result in good safety and the workers will not have any health issues. That's all.

Marble, granting quartz etc these are all classed as luxury products that we have in our homes. We, in the west don't appreciate the dangers, the hard work and the labour that goes into producing products for the wealthier nations to enjoy. After seeing this video, it's just incredible the lengths these people go to producing the items with little awareness and knowledge of health and safety and the dangerous working conditions these men are working under. Hats off to the them for the incredible difficult work they are doing, but I gasp at every level of the working conditions they work under to provide for us in the Western world.
