@stephencardone Yeah, it's a pretty neat, not-so-obvious mechanic they have. I want to add one more thing to this that I didnt mention in my comment: They can only be reposted like this from the front, not the back.
Maggot debuff can not only be removed by holding a torch, but they can also be permanently stunlocked til death if you attack with torch, making them completely defenseless and a free kill
Whenever I play a pyro I end up using that corridor after the chappal bonfire for farming, since the basic fireball stunlocks them from a safe distance and they give a decent number of souls.
I mean u can also have a fire infused weapon that also stunlocks them, it also does more damage to flesh enemies and rotten slugs. So i always keep a fire weapon on me around my main weapons level usually a dagger. Note fire flesh enemies i think r weak to lightning and dark damage
When I first started DS3 and went to the High Wall, I looked to my left, saw a dragon(I didn't know it was dead), and looked to my right and saw a pair of dogs. I immediately went "Well this is Dark Souls so both of those paths are equally dangerous."
Im glad to see the Cathedral knight's so high up. I love their armor sets, how imposing they are, and how fun they are to fight. They've always stood out as a jacked up crusader
I think the ultra greatswords are my least favorite elite knights in the entire game. They hard counter ultra heavy by being too fast forcing you to back stab. Placed in poor places or outright unreasonable spots that I just run around them.(only fight in the game I constantly do besides wyvern fight.) The enemy feels like they have endless stamina and they swing like I'm fighting a 8 year old button mashing the controller in a tekken game. I will say however the look and sounds are cool and I always snatch a bucket helm.
@@sawyerslack9782 The UGS cathedral knights are pretty cool. Definitely somewhat overtuned but far from the worst [X] knight fights in the game. I mean, Corvian Knights and Boreal Outrider Knights literally exist. The two outside Oceiros' bonfire are fun to fight one after another but they are really aggressive.
@@sawyerslack9782 no. they are not too fast even if you use slow heavy weapons. these GS cathedral Knights are my fav enemies to fight against using UGS. my fav way to fight them is with UGS and they have the perfect amount of aggression, they are not too fast at all, even with my slow af Berserk Greatsword. you just stay mindful of the direction of your dodge and look at their body and not their weapon to see if they are gonna follow up or not. they are engaging and fun af
11:30 These are in the game for lore reasons, in my opinion. They're bits of Aldrich that came off and were left behind. They're based on Phalanx/slimes, blobs of goo. Originally found in DnD, a major influence on DS.
Also, they are are in many souls games, and they are consistently resistant to physical damage but weak to fire damage. This can be a factor for lots of from enemies in that certain build can trivialize some while make others sudden walls.
i like how cage hollows are the first enemy that teaches you how some enemies dont just have a lot of HP but instead have some strong resistences, trusting attacks deal extremely high damage to the caged hollows since you are poking your weapon through the gaps between the cage bars. Also noticed how many enemies in this game had understandable resistences, like how almost all flamable enemies have maggots or slimyness in common, unclothed enemies like lycanthropes or hollows are really weak to bleed or metalic knights being weak to lightning. This was lost in elden ring to me, mainly because of how hard to tell some elements are or the ambiguity of holy damage in general makes you just chug it and deal with enemy resistences. In DS3 i remember the classic rules ALWAYS applied and were notizable. lightning -> knights and dragons dark -> demons of chaos fire -> maggots, wood or slimes magic -> the neutral element strike -> stone and skeletons pierce -> enemies with gaps in their protection slash/bleed -> naked enemies In elden ring i cant remember a single enemy resistence that truly matters aside from Wood and Rot being weak to fire and the undead being weak to holy.
Cage hollows were pretty much a single time enemy. Once you learn it, camera lock will automatically find the passive cage hollows if you spam it on every cage you find.
Holy for undead enemies, special the Death Birds. And fire for Minor Erdtree minibosses. But beyond that each enemies resistances are more tied to their lore than to logic. Like Cuckoo greatshield being resistant against both magic and holy.
Demon Fists were designed to pulverize them in the most satisfying way possible. Combine them with Pontiff' Right Eye and Knight Slayer's rings and you'll be feared by shielded enemies and some heavy armored bosses too.
A little trivia. Back when the game first released the first demon you encounter would drop the soul instead of the one in the combs. I used the demon great axe for my first playthrough because of that
Some tips for dealing with some of the lower tiered enemies: Leeches can be removed with a red moss clump or by holding a torch. Rock Lizards, when kicked, do a full roll rotation backwards. Considering most of them are near cliffs, it makes it really easy to keep them far from you while you try to kick them off a cliff. Puss of Man will be stunned for 5 seconds if you hit one with a fire attack. Throwing a firebomb is the easiest method. There is going to be a period where they can’t be stunned by fire afterwards (usually the duration of the stun + duration of their follow-up attack), but it’s pretty easy to just dodge their counter and hit them with fire again. Hollow Clerics can be kicked onto their backs and attacked on their weak underside. Their spin attack can also be parried, which results in the spinner flipping onto its back. Clumps of Flesh are very weak to fire, and weak to the other elements. Smoldering Lake Clumps are just weak to other elements.
Ringed Knights are some of the sickest enemies in the series to date, and unlike some other cool enemies, you can actually use their equipment! Also love how the Stray Demon differenciates itself from the Asylum Demons more than Erdtree Avatars despite being in the same series
@@sunbro8093 You don't even have to kick them, I just use charged heavy attacks while two handing a weapon. A couple of smacks flips them out of a heal pretty reliably.
@@sisyphusmyths if your weapon is long enough to not get hit, quick enough to interrupt them in time and has enough poise damage, then yes absolutely. However, this doesn't include some categories of weapons as I said, like the curved swords
@sunbro8093 Interesting. I had never tried it on curved swords, but it worked fine with plain old straight swords, which I had always thought did the same amount of poise damage as curved swords.
For the skeleton, only the one with glowing eyes will respawn once, you could also tell whether they respawn or not if they give you soul when they died. If they do give souls, they're dead, but if they're not, ready for round two
Damn, the Jailer is literally my favorite enemy in the whole game. It's so creepy and changes the vibe of its area so much. If the main enemy in the dungeon was another more standard tough enemy where you just hold shield or roll to win, the dungeon just wouldn't feel as oppressive. I don't think any enemy in the game elevates its area as much as the Jailer, and that's wht it's my favorite enemy type in the whole game.
I feel like the gank with the fire witches in front of the cathedral in irythil you're talking about was more of a quasi set piece to encourage the player to take a more roundabout path, given there's a few ways to get up there, but more or less reward skilled players with a fast boss route if you can take it head on
28:20 a tip for Monstrosity of sins: their eyes are extremely weak and when they use the grab, the slightest damage can stun them out for a critical. So if you equip any piece of the thorns armor set and just roll at them, while their eyes are exposed, it's a guaranteed stagger.
Additional tip, they have high hp but very low bleed resistance. To the point that putting carthus rouge on a +0 dagger will probably outdamage whatever else you're using to fight them
Jailers definately are the worst enemy, but I appreciate them being a thematically fitting environmental hazard tied to a single dungeon. Forcing you to play carefully through a place that otherwise could be really short setpiece, and keeping player on their toes, building that dread if there is going to be a jailor around next corner...
They would be much prefered over other enemies if it was'nt for that tragic placement of like 6 or 7 of them near the witch area , it gets tedious either fighting them 1 by 1 or running the risk of being 1 health when fighting all of them , Up until that point you mostly face them in either 1v1s or groups of 2 or 3 jailers , they could've easily avoided that tragic placement by placing 1 one jailer on a respective cell door , but no we are fromsoft we have to drop a random shitty encounter in every area of every game 🤫😂 .
My single favorite enemy in any of the games is the Lothric Knight that uses the Warbanner, still my favorite weapon in the game and it just looks so cool when they use it
I came across this video while replaying the entirety of ds3 (currently going into the endgame and dlc) and I didn't know I missed ds3 so much as when I first opened the door from the watch tower in High Wall of Lothric. The atmosphere always enthralls me (maybe It's just dumb nostalgia since ds3 was my first souls game). Anyways, I very much resonate with your ranking placement. It pretty much sumarises my views on how fun to play against many ds3 enemies are (specially if you can parry them because I'm one of those that likes to parry god everywhere) Also I feel the game got a bit tweaked since the last time I played because I swear some ganks got doubled in with more enemies. Regardless, thank you for your dedicatiom and your passionate videos. Wish you loads of success but also seize this momentum to take a step back and have fun with what you do, because that's what matters the most, because that is contagious and I feel you're having such a good time making these. Now waiting for ER enemies 😂😂 (quite the task because there are tons of variants of some enemies) You gained a new sub.
I like the jailer gank room, my first playthrough I used the chameleon spell to sneak by everything by turning myself into a CHAIR it was hilarious. Also Karla best girl. While some enemies are unfair, at least they make you think of creative ways to defeat them, like weaving in firebombs between attacks or getting a fast-hitting fire-infused weapon for pus of man. Though the angels are just bad game design, they make exploration impossible when exploration is the only way to defeat them. Coupled with a hidden bonfire, that area was the only place in the entire game I had to look up a guide. So annoying.
Another reason the ringed knights are the best is the sound design on them is amazing. The sound of the dual great swords smashing against the ground and after you kill it they hit the floor it’s just so good
I really like your ranking videos, something really nice about them is that you definitely seem like you have a good idea of fun and fairness when it comes to challenge. too many people now thing that something difficult automatically means its good. a serious issue with an enemy being over tuned or or too unfair is that it often leads to people running through areas without fighting enemies since its simply not worth the effort and in doing so they miss alot of things and dont experience what the areas have to offer and ignore the challenge
Yeah I thought that too, he has a level of confidence that allows him to say “this isn’t fun” and then provide constructive criticism. Sometimes it feels like with ds games people are afraid to admit they didn’t like something because there’s always the response of “well just get better at the game” but games are meant to be fun and if something is difficult in a boring way then it’s reasonable to not give it your time.
9:50 the hollow priests actually cast a superbuff version of golden vow, which I believe was about a 50% dmg increase to nearby enemies. It's the little orange glow. Limit Breakers did a video on it I believe
The road section in the ringed city has a ton of places to drop from and one shot the haralds. It’s a pretty fun section baiting them and nano attacking
It's been a while since I've gone through DS3, so I had no idea what was going to be #1... but as soon as I SAW the ringed knight, the memory of my first encounter with that dual ultra greatsword gigachad came rushing back to me. 😩👌
Someone's probably mentioned this already, but you can check the eyes of the skeletons in the Catacombs to see if they'll revive or not. Glowing=revive, not glowing=no revive :)
Unpopular opinion but I really liked the angles. I see them as a cool puzzle that needs to be solved, and it feels more rewarding to explore the areas you couldnt get to when it was alive
The positioning of the basilisks on DS3 seems more punishing than DS1 sometimes (even without the HP curse). i have a bad time dealing in that area before meeting the final battle against Tsorig NPC
I love that you showed a clip of that one mimic with most of its chain hidden under the red carpet, making it difficult to determine if it's a real chest or not.
Fun fact, the giant eye-looking things of the Basilisks aren't their actual eyes. They are more of an intimidation feature. Their actual eyes are super small, check out the model if you're interested :) Another fun fact, if you equip a torch, the maggot-bleed from the maggot-dogs stops immediately. So just have it in your off-hand and quickly equip and unequip it when afflicted.
@@LowProfile0247 That is completely false :) You highly underestimate the number of people that have played these games vs the number of people that watch niche exploration videos about them on UA-cam.
Something crazy about the maggots and flies you didn't mention to the video is the fact that if you have a torch on you and you just simply equip it in either hand it'll instantly kill off all the maggots
Honestly, adding to the bullshit factor for the angels is their magic they cast that causes curse buildup when you break their line of aggro. It feels like the game's being salty that you outsmarted it.
True, that mechanic actually makes me pretty salty, but I had to pick and choose which aspects of enemies were important enough to include so things wouldn’t drag
In defense of the jailers. I thought the fear aspect kinda adds to the challenge of the dungeon. Annoying yes. Very. But imo ALWAYS, Annoying enemies is better than boring enemies.
All the Herald Knights, with the exception of the one in the cave, are positioned so that they can be plunge attacked. The street is cringe, I do agree, but if you let them patrol one just positions himself beneath the NPC girl’s door (forgot her name) and becomes a free kill. The three at the bottom are worse but still plungable from the little side platform or from above the arch above.
29:51 I have a lot of affection for Harald Knights. I got extremely lucky with getting their chest plate on my first run through the Ringed City and it was the key piece I needed for the vitality monster build to really come together. The fact that I got to gloat over my friend who'd played the game way more than me but had never had it drop for him was the cherry on top. Not suggesting they should be higher ranked, honestly I already thought 21 was a bit more generous than necessary, just sharing a fond memory of mine.
44:35 I feel like you forgot you have a kick move. Hiding behind his shield is basically the perfect opening or the Cathedral and Lothric knights to get a nice guardbreak
Great video! A few tips to fight the more annoying enemies : -Maggot grubs and Pus of Men will stagger every time you hit them with fire. -Equip a torch and maggots won't bleed you to death. -Some enemies will stagger for a second if they hit your shield while blocking. This includes cleaver thralls, dogs/wolves, corvians, dagger-wielding enemies and enemies that have thrusting attacks. -Blessed weapons will prevent enemies that "resuscitate", like skeletons, to do so. -You can parry giant crabs
Mannn I love the Jailers. The health drain is honestly kind of hilarious to me. It just drains so quickly i can only laugh when it happens to me. Plus their design is super cool and fits the area they're in perfectly. If you think about it having a vitality sapping [lamp?] ability would be extremely useful for a Jailer/guard. Any and all violent or fleeing inmates would be done in immediately without offing them; It just fits their purpose in the setting perfectly. Plus, if you're not too greedy you can pull one at a time and just punish tf out of them. The high stakes of fighting them while being only 1 hit from death with no way to heal is totally exhilarating to me. I think they're an A-tier enemy personally, maybe even S-tier. It'd be one thing if the Irithyll Dungeon was super long and, or they had giant health pools but both are not true, their section isn't too long and they go down in a few hits. Basically, I like DS3 better with them than without them. I think they make the game and that section extremely memorable, like absolutely no one forgets the Jailers after a playthrough of DS3.
Just finished my first playthrough and I really despise the Basilisks in this game. Far more so than I did in DS1. They spam them in Farren Keep, where you already have a forced fat roll and can't move. It's just not fun imo. Also, if there's one there's automatically a billion. I also did not like the Outrider knights. Admittedly they are the enemy I probably died to the most (especially the one in Lothric castle) but when using a greatsword their speed can be really overwhelming.
In terms of Sulyvahn's beasts, I think they are not an enemy that should have been involved in a gank fight. There's 2 of them in a single room right where the covenant is, which really hurts my opinion of them. Also I don't like the fact that their claws have hitboxes for a lot of their bite attacks. This can be pretty frustrating.
@@PBandJ21 I know, which is what I eventually did. This was clearly not Fromsoft's intention though. They wanted you to fight both of them, which is ridiculous. I think 2 Pontiff dogs is probably harder than any boss in the main game (I don't own the dlc).
Lothric Knights were so cool because they punished circle strafing for backstabs and this engaged the player to participate in other strategies like shield kicking, parrying, and trying out the new weapon arts.
Jailers are definitely the worst. However I feel you were too hard on some of the enemies. They teach Patients and thoughtful strategy. You’ve also ignored lore implications. Good video though
My favorite are pontiff knights. Every other knight feels samey. Slow, beefy, high damage output, fairly predictable moveset, and not very graceful. Pontiff knights tend to travel in packs where one of them is standing at a long distance and harassing the player with projectiles, while the other in engaging in a melee fight with very long combos akin to Pontiff, and masterfully keeping range and avoiding the player (as far as PVE goes). Their ai actually feels like it was programmed differently. Whereas SIlver, Lothric, Ringed, Cathedral knights are all kind of...the same?
Fun fact about the basilisks: Those giant awooga eyes? They aren't their eyes. Their eyes are actually much smaller and on the face part of them in between the 'eyes'.
Idk if you ever noticed, cause it took me 250 hours on this game to do so, but if you get the reposte to the doggoes and they stay alive, you can see a really nice animation inn which they pray with their hands, with their back on the ground, and stop attacking you, which is really nice cause it gives you the idea that they were in fact people or knights of sullivhan, and that they were cursed like the other knights of the mission but they became more beasts
It's bizarre seing Ds3 enemies after Elden Ring Dlc. Looks like the enemies are on slow motion because in the dlc they have non stop combos that are super fast and does 1 zilion damage 💀.
funny. jailers are my favorite regular enemy. im not even joking. the design, the attacks. i like it! i always wear their headgear. Thralls would get my least favorite lol
as a monster hunter player, i really like ravenous crystal lizard, it makes me feel like i'm fighting with a modified radobaan/odogaron amalgam and that's kinda awesome, solid video btw
Hot take but honestly the jailers are an interesting and dynamic enemy. They require thinking rather than just brute force and add a lot of anxiety and tension to the dungeon which is already a creepy and underrated area. Plus they just look cool and they're only a gimmick enemy in a single small area, so I don't really think they deserve the hate.
That's not what a hot take means, my man. That's just an unpopular opinion, but you responded with good reasons! A hot take is where you draw a ridiculous conclusion from something. A hot take cannot be taken seriously. I too like the jailers and wouldn't have ranked them at the bottom. That's the beautiful thing about tier lists. They're just one person's opinion.
I think thematically they make perfect sense. They are JAILERS, why would they make it fair to leave the jail? And staying out of their line of sight as a new player felt like a horror game where I'd wait around corners or rush them to reduce the risk. That gank at the end can also be avoided by stealth, though the switch up of brute strength to "stealth" is a little weird in a game with no crouch
I love these sorts of videos. can you do one for dark souls 1? there's so many annoying enemies like the blowdart snipers, chained prisoners, necromancers, torch hollows, mosquitos etc. anyways, cool video thanks!
Love when they make the "This is only subjective" disclaimer before trying to dictate when something is good or bad in the objective sense. Gotta have that thin layer of protection when people start criticizing you
This is a video that makes me want to info-dump about one of my favourite games of all time for hours so great job! Anyway, here is a tiny fraction of that info-dumping. Surprised you didn't mention Pus of Man has a long when burned. Something that you didn't bring up much that would be a huge factor for me personally in a list like this would be camera control. For some enemies when locked on, your camera can get whirled around all over the place, making me feel sick. this is especially true for enemies which are tall and lanky enough that when they bend over towards you, their lock on point goes over your head causing your camera to do a 180. Another thing you didn't bring up a lot is the reach of various enemies. Something I find to be extremely satisfying and a ton of fun is out-spacing enemies.
I'm someone who puts thousands of hours into these games and generally enjoy the run up to the boss rather than the bosses themselves. Too many people run through the game to the "real challenge", glossing over the idea that many enemies could be bosses if they just had bigger health bars. Regular enemies are fun to fight too and have engaging movesets, this is where you come in. Very good ranking and unbiased constructive analysis of the fun/fairness in the designs! I can actually feel the experience and knowledge in your playstyle as well I personally think the dragon slayer armour that you find in the ringed city swamp is the best enemy in the game, much like his boss counterpart. Great moveset, challenging enough and many windows to attack
I know you looked their design and moveset, but there are some enemies that I really appreciate the attention to details about their resistance. For instance, the caged hollows take significantly more damage from piercing weapons, since a pierce attack would get between the iron of the cage and hit the hollows inside of it. The maggot also gives you a hint about how to get rid off the debuff with the torch, since they have a major weakness to fire.
I feel like I'm one of the only people who thinks thralls (and imps from ER) are good enemies. While rather harmless one-on-one, their ambushes and how they can overwhelm you in groups causes you play more cautiously and be more spatially aware because of their ability to hang off walls and ceilings. I think the imps with their ability to look like lifeless statues and blend in feel like the more refined version of the enemy. Also, their fast attacks with bleed weapons encourage shield use.
funny story, first time I played dark souls 3, I didn't know there was a variant of the mimic that crawls and so when I first saw it I freaked out and actually had to quit the game for a bit because it scared me so much. I was in the sewer area with rats and curse frogs and decided I would just run since there was too many enemies and all I saw was a mimic crawling at me at Mach 1 or something. Still have ptsd...

UGS Cathedrals are seriously a 50/50 engagement they're so good at pressuring
Yeah i Love their Design too
I think the ultra greatswords are my least favorite elite knights in the entire game.
In DS3 i remember the classic rules ALWAYS applied and were notizable.
lightning -> knights and dragons
dark -> demons of chaos
fire -> maggots, wood or slimes
magic -> the neutral element
strike -> stone and skeletons
pierce -> enemies with gaps in their protection
slash/bleed -> naked enemies
In elden ring i cant remember a single enemy resistence that truly matters aside from Wood and Rot being weak to fire and the undead being weak to holy.
Giant hands are extremely weak to fire damage status effect.
Cage hollows were pretty much a single time enemy. Once you learn it, camera lock will automatically find the passive cage hollows if you spam it on every cage you find.
@@icipher6730 yeah but nothing on their design really indicates they are gonna have such reaction to fire
Resistances might be less obvious in Elden Ring, but they are a huge deal, with some enemies having 40-80% resistance to certain damage types
Holy for undead enemies, special the Death Birds. And fire for Minor Erdtree minibosses. But beyond that each enemies resistances are more tied to their lore than to logic. Like Cuckoo greatshield being resistant against both magic and holy.
The flesh enemies are just very resistant to physical damage. Use any element and they melt.

A little trivia. Back when the game first released the first demon you encounter would drop the soul instead of the one in the combs. I used the demon great axe for my first playthrough because of that
I WONDERED why his transposition prompts showed up so early!
Some tips for dealing with some of the lower tiered enemies:
Leeches can be removed with a red moss clump or by holding a torch.
Such a chad move from fromsoft to give you a guaranteed drop for the greatswords on the first kill
You can just kick the hollow clerics on their back to stop them from healing
Wish I knew that 💀
infortunately you will almost get hit by the spell anyway and certain weapons do not have a kick (I think of the curved swords)
If they do give souls, they're dead, but if they're not, ready for round two
The ones with white glowing eyes, specifically.

I feel like the gank with the fire witches in front of the cathedral in irythil you're talking about was more of a quasi set piece to encourage the player to take a more roundabout path, given there's a few ways to get up there, but more or less reward skilled players with a fast boss route if you can take it head on
What incredible timing, had nothing to watch tonight but you came through!! Thanks man looking forward to your rankings!
To the point that putting carthus rouge on a +0 dagger will probably outdamage whatever else you're using to fight them
They looks like a lot like manus hand ( manus means hand btw) both born out of abyss and omg are they annoying!
18:30 That aren't the handmaidens, that's the Profaned Flame shooting at you. They can't even see you from there, let alone attack you.

Anyways, I very much resonate with your ranking placement. It pretty much sumarises my views on how fun to play against many ds3 enemies are (specially if you can parry them because I'm one of those that likes to parry god everywhere)
Also I feel the game got a bit tweaked since the last time I played because I swear some ganks got doubled in with more enemies.
Regardless, thank you for your dedicatiom and your passionate videos. Wish you loads of success but also seize this momentum to take a step back and have fun with what you do, because that's what matters the most, because that is contagious and I feel you're having such a good time making these.

Cathedral Knights are my favorite enemy in the series. I'm glad they're getting some love.
Another reason the ringed knights are the best is the sound design on them is amazing. The sound of the dual great swords smashing against the ground and after you kill it they hit the floor it’s just so good

The stray demon just yeeting him off the edge gave me flashbacks to my first playthroughs.
Also I started off playing soulsborne games by playing Ds3.
Currently making my way through this. Just gotta say your dissapointment when you were like "no... it's the jailers" was PALPABLE.

-Maggot grubs and Pus of Men will stagger every time you hit them with fire.

Great video man , you're gonna be big soon 💪
You can fight them one at a time
@@PBandJ21 I know, which is what I eventually did.

I’d almost feel bad if they were less annoying
My favorite are pontiff knights. Every other knight feels samey. Slow, beefy, high damage output, fairly predictable moveset, and not very graceful. Pontiff knights tend to travel in packs where one of them is standing at a long distance and harassing the player with projectiles, while the other in engaging in a melee fight with very long combos akin to Pontiff, and masterfully keeping range and avoiding the player (as far as PVE goes). Their ai actually feels like it was programmed differently. Whereas SIlver, Lothric, Ringed, Cathedral knights are all kind of...the same?

Idk if you ever noticed, cause it took me 250 hours on this game to do so, but if you get the reposte to the doggoes and they stay alive, you can see a really nice animation inn which they pray with their hands, with their back on the ground, and stop attacking you, which is really nice cause it gives you the idea that they were in fact people or knights of sullivhan, and that they were cursed like the other knights of the mission but they became more beasts

What a chad
I'm someone who puts thousands of hours into these games and generally enjoy the run up to the boss rather than the bosses themselves. Too many people run through the game to the "real challenge", glossing over the idea that many enemies could be bosses if they just had bigger health bars. Regular enemies are fun to fight too and have engaging movesets, this is where you come in.
Very good ranking and unbiased constructive analysis of the fun/fairness in the designs! I can actually feel the experience and knowledge in your playstyle as well
I personally think the dragon slayer armour that you find in the ringed city swamp is the best enemy in the game, much like his boss counterpart.
The halo flood background music fit very well with this video
Fuck yes !
For the stray demon you can spam moving during its grab attack, which lets you escape
