Jessica these are soooooo pretty! Red and gold together is such a beautiful and classy combination. I also apply two coats of base coat to my nails because I feel like it protects my natural nails better, especially if I'm encapsulating gel polish or glitter so close to the natural nails like you did. I pretty much always encapsulate my gel polish like that because I think it looks better and I don't have to worry about it making the nails bulky or changing the shape like it can when applied on top of the enhancement. Using polygel without slip solution (alcohol) is even easier using a wooden stick (pointed site) instead of a brush. Most bubbels will be eliminated!

Thank you so much! I applied two coats for extra protection, and it’s easier to do a clean “do over” when I have two layers of base coat. When I file this design off I won’t get to my natural nails as easily. Also, it leaves a more even surface when I do the design after! ☺️❤️
