    Thank you for not cutting out the file process! I thought I was the only one having to file this much lol!

    So beautiful! Thanks for all the tips. I never thought that maybe some of the lifting I experienced with polygel was due to there not being polygel on certain parts of the nail. I recently did a set a few weeks ago and was so disappointed that they were coming off after less than a week when I spent like 5 hours doing them. Now I know to try primer before the top coat. Thank you!

    Very pretty nails! I really like Modelones poly gel, too, it's so easy to work with! Poly gel is basically a mix of gel and acrylic powder, which makes it easy to use and fairly strong. Easy to file and shape were the big pushing points when it first became a big deal a few years ago when Harmony - Gelish came out with "Gelish Poly gel". Straight alcohol can also be used as slip solution, the gelled alcohol works great!

      Thank you so so much! I will try straight alcohol just to see what difference it would make. I loooove polygel!!!

      @@jessica_0117 I agree, I loved gel when I first switched over from acrylic after watching your videos but poly gel can top that if you choose the right brand! I'm using a bit of both right now, I have too much gel that I don't want to waste but I also have a few tubes of poly gel as well.

    polygel is normally the same as acrygel which is a combination of acrylic and gel..... basically.
    Beautiful set by the way😍

    Friendly tip:
    In my option, you did use slightly too much glitter. It would’ve been a little easier to place & fit them had you not used so much glitter, & it would have been just as pretty😉.
    But on the other hand I guess there's no such thing as too much glitter & they came out gorgeous. 😍

  • @Ms2unique4u
    @Ms2unique4u 3 роки тому

    Such a beautiful mani!! I love the encapsulated glitter you applied!! One thing..... you typically don’t have an inhibition layer(sticky layer) when using dual forms. The inhibition layer happens when the oxygen in the air prevents the gel from curing and it leaves a tacky layer. So, when you have something covering the gel, like the dual form, oxygen can’t get to the gel and the gel fully cures, which means there is no tacky layer (inhibition layer). So, next time you use dual forms, feel the surface of your nail after removing the form and you shouldn’t have an inhibition layer. Hopefully that makes sense.

  • @Miauxful

  • @luabella_

    What kind of hand sanitizer do you and how do you find it in terms of lasting verses slip solution or alcohol? I would think it would be a bit too thick?

    • @jessica_0117
      @jessica_0117  3 роки тому +1

      It is thick!! But that also helps me to not overdo the amount of slipping solution.. This time i had no white stains at all after curing the nails!!(which is something that can appear if you accidentally use too much slipping solution)

    These Nails Ended up looking Stunning, just Beautiful.. I loved the Glitter...
    Can I suggest the next time you use with duel forms, apply a thin layer of polygel to the form, apply your glitter & Cure.. then apply another thin layer and this is the layer you apply to your nail... the way you applied, you covered the whole amount of polygel so really left very little to apply to your nail... As I said though, they looked Gorgeous... x

    For a slip solution you could just use isopropyl alcohol or rubbing alcohol. Rather than using hand sanitizer

    Did you use the more curved dual forms or the straight ones? Just wondering, because I’m trying to replicate exactly what you’ve done here-I love it so much! ♥️❤️

    • @momlifebutpresstoimpress4167
      @momlifebutpresstoimpress4167 3 роки тому +1

      I believe all depends on your natural nail form, is you have flat nails is better the straight dual form, if your natural nails are curve better the curve dual forms
