@@subteeninhumansamuraiamphi5019 it’s only 2 days old though, and you’re the one who chose to wait 2 days to answer it. As for dumb, I believe it to be an accurate assessment. Look at what makes for a successful comedy movie, a lot of it is variations on (or just outright repeats of) older jokes but audiences love it. Doesn’t matter how old a joke is, if the delivery is good it’ll be a hit.
Did you ever hear the Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Jester? I thought not, it’s not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis... was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so funny, he could use the Force to influence the midi-chlorians... to recycle... jokes. He had such a knowledge of the dark side, he could even keep the jokes he cared about... from dying.
Back to the OP, the show is largely unscripted but hardly single take. That line might have come up on the 3rd, 4th, or 5th run through the scene.
When Larry hits you with that "let me ask you this question", you know shit is about to go down!
