Love the reaction of the Newcastle No 11 who tackles Smith when he is kicking the ball. True sportsmanship and recognises brilliance even in the opponents.
Very hard if nobody actualy knows the rules, refs and commentator alike.Scoring a try - a player in touch-in-goal who is not holding the ball and pressing downwards is a try.
@@RaymondRigg-v6k Clearly he caught the ball in flight and grounded the ball whilst holding it. So it does matter very much if he was in touch in goal. He wasn't so the try was allowed. If he had not caught the ball and grounded it by pressing down on it then it would not have mattered if he was in touch in goal.
@@clarke1319 I don't know which one of us you were replying to. But as far as I'm concerned, I don't care if a replay proves my team have scored or haven't scored, as long as they do it quickly. When the video ref first came in I was all for it. They used to have a quick look to check and that was it. Now it seems like they want a program of their own. On many occasions you can clearly see the result after the first replay, but they still insist on looking for more angles - Why? Yes, there may be some occasions when they need to have a look from a different angle, but they still do it even if you can see the players whole body from the first angle. I also think the ref is going to the video too often now. Make a decision for goodness sake. Mistakes usually even themselves out over the season anyway.

Got to be try of the season what a finish COYQ
Great to see it live
The kicks the most impressive bit imo
This match had some amazing tries... Lynagh in the other corner was acrobatic as hell too. Plus, let's not forget Marcus Smith's kick under pressure!
I'm a Sarries fan and agree that the Try of the Year accolade has already been won! Amazing skills form Tyrone Green!
That is THE best try I've ever had the privilege of witnessing in 50 years of watching/playing rugby. It's very unlikely I'll ever see a better one. 🎉
Just incredible 👏👏
These African boys are everywhere doing the impossible ! Give this man a TUI ! 😊😅
has to be called into the Boks squad I have thoiught it for some time
Who's on the throne?
TYRONE
Takes a South African to score like that!
Hell of a try !!
lol its only November guys!! Its a great try but lets hope we see lots of other contenders for Try Of The Year
Greatest try ever
He’s eligible to play for England this season. Definitely worth a call. He reminds me a lot of Matt Hanson.
Depends in what month 2020 did he arrive in uk as its 5 years now not 3 anymore changed in 2020 which is good
Touchdown Harlequins!

Elbow inside line is irrelevant, his whole body can be out and try scored ,because he is not holding the ball but pressing down .Check the rules!

Forte Nihil Difficulus
I wish Rugby would STOP playing: REPLAY RUGBY! That was a try even if a tiny piece of line was ever so slightly touched FFS! Come on just play rugby
It is getting a bit irritating. It's like they are trying their best to find reasons to disallow tries now.
But here's the problem. If the replay proved he was out then the likes of you would be the first to complain about the officiating.

@@johnnyshinnichi1785 my reply was to Philip.
It’s all just getting a little S-L-O-W and destroying free play
