  • Hey everyone! In this scroll saw project video I make a beautiful miniature windmill out of wood from the scrap bin! It would make a perfect addition to anyone's garden or windowsill. Keep in mind I made it out of scrap plywood for this video and if you wanted it to last outside I'd suggest using hardwoods. Hope you all like the video!
    The pattern was designed by Steve Good and is available as a FREE pattern download at his website;

    I’ve been working on that pattern and you’ve given me tips on mounting the blades. Thanks for the video.

    Awesome work. I am a windmill fan and have had a six foot and a four foot which both wore out after a few years. Hopefully I can make yours and it actually works.

    I always enjoy your videos. I had to laugh when you said you had glued your fingers together. I've done that several times. The first time I tried the debonder for the glue and discovered quickly that it doesn't work. But acetone does work and I always keep that on hand just for this reason. Keep up the good work!

    What is the difference between the #5 reverse and the #5 ultra reverse blades and when do you know which one to use?

    • @ArtisanPirate

      The reverse tooth blades only the last 10 or so teeth or reversed, on an ultra reverse tooth blade, every few teeth are reversed leaving a cleaner cut on the back side of your work.
