Another masterclass video thanks, Austin. Super choice of locations, giving not only dramatic video but also great audio - especially the echoes. The limited amount of residual snow was literally the icing on the cake in terms of scenery. My compliments on your forbearance over the 'flash of orange'. Kind regards, Bob.
Excellent video. Only travelled once on the line, back in 1979! Missed getting a train on my 2nd visit in 2012, but went to Haworth station to re-create a scene. Scarily enough, apart from a CCTV camera nothing had changed! Will be back there though on my next UK trip. Keep up the great work
Thanks very much Mike. The fact that the KWVR hasn't changed much is one of its endearing features for me. I first went there in 1969 and it hasn't lost its appeal yet! I hope you get to visit the line again
Excellent shots of an excellent array of locos Austin. I didn't used to like Big Jim but appreciate her/him/it now - especially for performances such as these. Really enjoyed the close pan shot of 70013 leaving Oakworth too.
Many thanks David, I've always liked the S160's as it's nice to see something a little different. It was good to get some shots in sunshine for a change
Thank you. It was good to see and hear 70013, a favourite loco. Quite a special light for the goods with 5820 which should have been the 7F but it had a few problems in the morning
Beautiful reportage. Excellent shots and locations, as always! I really enjoyed the sound recording at the start of the 70013 Oliver Cromwell, in the second sequence. Thanks Austin. Philippe
Cracking video Austin in good Weather too.....Hope You enjoyed Yourself there....Nice to see 'Olly' and also our own WSR 7F there too....Seemed quite strange....Best wishes.....Steve.
Thanks Steve, it was a good gala with Ollie being the highlight for me. Didn't see as much of the 7F as I'd hoped as she failed in the morning. Looking forward to seeing her in sunny (?) Somerset
Very true, the Standards were a great design, bit odd to see Ollie trundling along the branch after her mainline exploits but she's always been a favourite
Sorry Ann, I don't know. There is nothing on their events calendar for the next few months featuring Thomas as they are busy with celebrations for the 50th anniversary
"Stand in Front" @ 1.34....they get everywhere don't they!!!.Wonderfully shot video.....truly professional in every way....Most enjoyable.
Thanks for your kind comments, much appreciated
A real smorgasbord of delights, Austin. Much enjoyed. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks very much, an excellent gala once again from the KWVR
With wonderful weather conditions Austin, what a superb production, and an amazing variety of locos, 'Ollie' performing brilliantly....Bob
Many thanks Bob, an excellent gala and great to see one of my favourite locos in action
Great video! Oliver Cromwell sounded fantastic!
Thanks, yes indeed, I love the sound of a Brit
@@acw71000 she is a great loco!

Many thanks Bob, could only manage a day at the KWVR so it was a little hectic but very enjoyable with some excellent loco performances.

Enjoyed watching that, Austin, and some great sounds. Long time since I've been to the K&WVR. Keith.
Thanks Keith, you should try and visit in June for their 50th.anniversary. Plenty going on
Superb as ever Austin , wonderful light at 13-00 .
Thanks Steve, yes it was pretty special that light. The gallery were expecting the 7F but she had failed in the morning so 5820 substituted
Fantastic video of the action at the K&WVR Austin! My favourites were the S160 and Ollie, keep up the good work.....Regards Chris
Many thanks, it was an excellent gala
Great stuff, Austin. Reverberating sound does stir the soul!
Thanks Alan, yes indeed, nothing like it
Some great sounds there, from 70013 at Oakworth particularly. Top shot of 5820 on the Goods.
Thank you. It was good to see and hear 70013, a favourite loco. Quite a special light for the goods with 5820 which should have been the 7F but it had a few problems in the morning

Merci Philippe. J'ai bien aimé filmer l'une de mes locomotives préférées
Wonderful locations and filming! Great job!
Thanks for watching and for your kind comments
Superb Video Austin. Fantastic display of powerful action. Liked the departure of Olive with the echoes. Great days filming. Kind regards C&A
Thanks, yes it was a good, if tiring day but wonderful to see 70013 performing so well
A superb compilation, Austin. Loved the goods traffic. Kind regards Frank.
Thanks Frank, yes I think there were more freights than usual this time running on the bottom part of the line
Pure class !!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed the video

Here's hoping the Weather will be good....
Fantastic set of shots. How do you access ‘The Mound’ near Oakworth. Is it just a case of walking the lineside? Many thanks.
Thanks very much. Yes 'The Mound' is just down from Oakworth but you will need a lineside pass to access it
Excellent quality.
Many thanks for watching
Wonderful footage Austin, shame about the 7F developing a problem in the morning. Nice locations used and like the shot at 2:34 regards JamesandPeter
Thanks James, it was quite busy yesterday and the spot just after Oakworth wasn't the first choice but it was a bit quieter
Brits are well over sixty years old, but still look thoroughly modern and up to the job.
Very true, the Standards were a great design, bit odd to see Ollie trundling along the branch after her mainline exploits but she's always been a favourite
The locomotives or the people?? LOL
You make a good point! There needs to be fresh young enthusiasts coming into the preservation movement.
4.20 Oliver Cromwell sounds beautiful oh man
It was a great sound with the exhaust echoing back off the buildings. Thanks for watching
Great video Austin :)
Thanks very much
Brilliant! del.
Thanks del, glad you enjoyed it
