The US release has been botched; English dub audio randomly switching to the Japanese on multiple episodes, no chapters, English subs from the dub not the original Japanese, cheap packaging. I'm seriously considering getting these now, they're absolutely beautiful.
+Adrian St. Fort Hello again. Same dub, it just doesn't randomly switch to Japanese. The Japanese also has proper subtitles. This is definitely the best set to get for SAC if you want both the Japanese and the English dub, if you can afford it.
***** Nah, the Japanese set is Japanese audio only and is by far the most expensive. I recommend the Korean sets, we've already spoken on another video of them.
@Adrian St. Fort But the bare minimum for Anime releases is that they have subtitles that actually match what's being said and a dub that doesn't randomly switch between languages. It's not just the first episode, it's multiple.
***** Either way it's unacceptable. The dubtitles and lack of extras make it worse. Don't settle for a subpar release. Anchor Bay are aware of the issues now, hopefully they'll dish out some replacement discs.
The American release is the one that is bad. The Korean one is really nice. A friend of mine has it. They are on sale too right now so perfect opportunity to get them
Does anyone know whether there exists an English subtitle file (as one might load if viewing on VLC media player) for the seventh disc? And if so, where it can be found? It seems a little unfortunate that this Region A release would lack English subtitles for its bonus content. Cheers.

Hi, are these sets region A or region Free. In several forums it is stated as being region free. The retailer I constacted said that it is region A. I really dont want to pay for the series when I cant watch it. ;-) Do you or anyone else have any chance to test your Bluray on a region B player or do you know more than me? Thanks for the help.

I can see through. In regards to your question about the case. Mine is black as seen in the video. But I know people who got at at the same time as me got transparent white cases. It depends on which batch it came from during manufacturing. Your set should be safe :)

Otaku TV I would say dont. They messed up several parts of that release. Including having dubtitles and not actual subtitles

This version (the Korean box sets) don't have the audio issues.
