Thor Odinson or simply Thor, is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character is based on the Norse deity of the same name, the Asgardian god of thunder whose enchanted hammer Mjolnir enables him to fly and manipulate weather, among his other superhuman attributes. Comic-book superheroes -- including Hulk, Iron Man and Thor -- join forces to become the Avengers as they fight villains who have escaped from the Vault, the Cube, the Big House and the Raft. Among the villains the Avengers battle are Red Skull, Grim Reaper, Wonder Man and Cobra. The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes is an American superhero animated television series by Marvel Animation in cooperation with Film Roman, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Avengers. The show debuted on Disney XD and online in the fall of 2010, starting with a 20-part micro-series that were later broadcast as five television episodes. In the second season, it was one of the inaugural shows of the Marvel Universe programming block alongside Ultimate Spider-Man. - Розваги

Could we please have a video on a house the Marvel series EMH does a better job of building a superhero world with multiple possibilities so that you don’t need to create new villains or a new story for a new threat but you can just focus on the character. The series does this by setting of huge threats that will never go away for example villains that don’t die but instead get put in prison and could escape or the Cree for example instead of being a rather small group of aliens who aren’t really that bad at all like in the movies they are a huge empire which are a big threat that you cannot handle and also the scrolls another big threat that could return at any time and also the series starts with the villains and characters already existing instead of having to individually give them their own movie or episode to introduce them this isn’t just relying on people knowing the characters to begin with but trusting you to wait for an answer so that for now you can have the cool story and action and have a bit of suspense and curiosity as to why they do what they do. This makes the universe very big. And more realistic as the villains won’t always have a gigantic story where the other full episode or movie in their origin and so the origin can be explained later while bigger events are going on but because of this you can have a big universe with many different villains many different threats. Something the MCU does not have instead the MCU kills off its villains in the first movie doesn’t introduce new heroes as if they’ve always existed but always has to give them their own movie first instead of just bring them in and then waiting to explain the backstory. This kind of world building is way more interesting as you’ve got a galaxy wide vast number of heroes to explore and for fans of movies to pick from in regards favourites. Also in the MCU characters keep getting aged up for example Captain marvels mentor, professor X, and many many others so that they can’t be their own character they can’t be cool.
Even if you don’t do a video on the one I’ve suggested please do a video about how to kree are better in EMH
Maybe you could do a comparison of justice league unlimited and earths mightiest heroes?
Or maybe an analysis of dr strange 2 and how it’s messier age of ultron-esque plot could set up an unnamed spoiler event(you have been warned):
involving skrulls, multiverse, incursions and other stuff along with Loki like how age of ultron directly set up ragnarok, infinity saga and many other stuff.
Spoiler:
Cuz the cameos of mr fantastic and black bolt where shoehorned by the studio so mr fantastic’s death may either set up season 2 kang/Nathaniel richards, franklin richards, house of m(with professor x’s death), secret wars(with CAPT marvels death or 616 skrulls betraying earth or something to do with super skrulls) or a full on multiversal war on the scale of infinity war.
My guess about the Wanda plot line ignoring vision was about white vision in the comics being different from vision, but that was pretty much ignored so my other guess now is the dark hold is like the one ring or something for those who are in desperation, grief or sadness like illuminati strange, Wanda and sinister strange.
Maybe you could also check out bigger channels like Godzilla Mendoza, variant comics, comicstorian and browntable for #savetheyostverse
The first three are comic fans and the fourth is more of animation and film fan.
One of my favourite exchanges from EMH:
Spider-Man: "It's the end of the world. I'm freaking out. Why aren't you freaking out?"
Captain America: "Because I can hear it."
Spider-Man: "Hear what?"
Captain America: "Thunder."
So even to the other Avengers, there was this strong feeling that Thor was something else.
One of the best lines in Marvel history.
totally, didn´t even check someone already commented i promise👍
ua-cam.com/video/7t0rqPLLz1k/v-deo.html love this moment, Thor in EMH truly was a god.
Thor making galactus back off⚡
love that line, but you also noticed hulk and thor didn't fight much in the series, they did but not much it was a respect
What i like about this Thor is that while he’s comedically perplexed by Midgard customs, the show never portrayed him as a dumb brute. Chris Hemsworth’s himbo act is always hilarious and i even don’t mind Thor’s new animated voice. But EMH definitely succeeded the best at making Thor subtly funny while also the most powerful non-Hulk being in the room.
Yeah, seems like every movie he got dumber.
Yeah EMH Thor felt like a powerhouse. This dude fought a group of Frost Giants alone and WON.
The dude has been alive for a couple thousand years at least. Wisdom tends to come with that. Yost knew that. Branagh and Taylor knew that. Watiti, talented as he is, took that knowledge, wiped his ass with it, and flushed it down the toilet. Particularly in “Love and Thunder.”
@@MrPjw5 talented? The dude literally thinks hes above anything and makes shitty movies. Only Jojo os good
"'Tis some kind of... of... That is a very big head."
I'm sure I have mentioned this before, but I legit feel like EMH's Thor is *the* most authentic page-to-screen adaptation Thor from the original Marvel comics. I still love and appreciate MCU Thor as its own character who's gone his own separate way from the original Thor. I even like how the "super powerful long lived alien" angle they started with was still borrowing inspiration from the works of Jack Kirby. But EMH really feels like the Thor from the old 60's comics translated to animated form.
I absolutely agree. I think EMH's Thor is the comic book version come to life through animation. Whenever I read a comic, I legit imagine Rick Wasserman's voice for Thor. This show along with the other YostVerse shows may have been the only competition for Dc shows.
I’d say EMH gave several characters their most comic accurate appearance to date.
@@notspider-man7777 You're right. But some elements of the MCU are in EMH as well like African- American Nick Fury.
@@MasteroftheStorms That is from the Ultimates comics, rather than the MCU itself. They were both drinking from the same fountains (comics 616 and ultimates), they both ended up with some mix of elements from both.
@@louisvictor3473 Yes you are right. Thank you for pointing out my misjudgement? but you get what I was trying to say but nonetheless thank you.
Earth’s Mightiest Heroes had a lot of arcs that were screwed over hell in one episode they foreshadowed a Civil War storyline
Was that when Maria Hill told the Avengers that she wanted to eventually get all of them "registered and working for S.H.I.E.L.D."? (I believe she said it at the end of the episode where the team took down A.I.M. and HYDRA and secured the Cosmic Cube)
@@FadzaiSimango she also mentioned it in the episode where thry were taking on Technivore and AIM in "Alone against Aim"
Bruh i love how even mightiest heroes always gets me to say the quote "maria needs some dick " like how the comics did. Dndnddbm
Yessir they always was going to do Avengers Vs X-men Arc
EMH Thor stood in stark contrast to me with Timmverse Superman. Whenever they had to knock out Superman in any of those Timmverse cartoons, they usually just wrote him as incredibly weak. There's a bit in the first Aquaman two-parter in Justice League where he gets KNOCKED UNCONSCIOUS by an electrified manhole cover!
But in EMH, when Thor needs to be taken out or occupied, it's because he had to fight a Gamma-empowered Wrecking Crew or tank a shot from Kang's friggin' spaceship. I always appreciated that.
Superman in JL's season 1 was particularly weak an incompetent. Then again, Bruce Timm is unapologetically a Batman fanboy. The writers have admitted they couldn't quite figure out how to have Superman not make the rest of the team feel superfluous. Things got better with the 2nd season an onwards, but even then, it was somewhat inconsistent. Weirdly, I do love Superman in STAS. Underpowered? Maybe, but the characterization was on point.
I remember Thor from EMH got incapacitated by Baron Zemo's laser pistol. That kinda bugged me
Uhh. That always got on my nerves about that show. Superman was hilariously weak sometimes. I’m also glad Thor didn’t go through this
The EMH creators actually like Thor and embraced his power. Timm’s Superman has always struck me as purposefully weak and milquetoast on average because Timm doesn’t like the character, and didn’t want him outshining Batman
@@Gokiza Timm gave us the best version of Batman but he unfortunately gave us the worst version of everything else... including Batman relationships... The Batman x Batgirl stuff to this day makes me scream...
"The world is ending. I'm freaking out! Why are you not freaking out?"
"Because I can hear it."
"Hear what?"
"Thunder."
Best moment is Thor saying “Nay,” and flying out to tank the full blast of Kang’s ship! So bad ass!
“Why aren’t you freaking out?”
“Because I can hear it.”
“Hear what?”
“Thunder”
And above them Thor is on his own fending off Galactus.
That was some boss scene.
EMH shows how to take into account the abilities of the heroes and not unreasonably sideline them. When heroes are absent, they put a line or two in explaining what awesome thing they are doing. When they need to give the villain breathing room, they damsel some civilians in a manner that distracts one or more heroes. The writing in this series is very tight, and it shows.
There were 2 constants in this series:
1) Thor would be like the Escanor of the group and come in to hammer the problem away at the end of an arc
2) We would get Black Widow's behind's point-of-view on everything
How are you everywhere!?
This was the BEST Avengers cartoon. Nobody fight me on this 😤
No way, dude; I'm with you. This show not only had the best versions of the Marvel characters within it but also the best version of how the Avengers came together.
Think about it, which is better; seventy-four of the most deadly villains in Marvel being released worldwide...or an invasion from an alien group no one (not even comic readers) have ever heard of
I wholeheartedly agree, but that’s not saying much dude.
Even if they fought you they'd lose
Tbh, there is barely a competition.
@@sergeydoronin1579 facts
Thor and Janet were the two biggest reasons I fell in love with this show.
Wasp: okay, stop, what is *that*
Thor: ‘Tis’ some kind of- of- that is a very big head..
That was too funny 🤣
I heard that in his voice.
@@DavidMartinez-ce3lp lol me too
I will always be disappointed when a Thor a adaptation never yells “for Asgard/Midgard!”
Or "Have at thee!"
@@Iliadicthat one hits the spot
@@guerillla6 ever since EMH, I have always associated "Have at thee!" with Thor; without it, I've never really seen MCU Thor as *my* Þór, y'know?
Thor was my absolute favorite in this show.
He had the best battles and basically was treated as a god with the necessary grandiose entries. Whenever he arrived in a final battle, he was sure to end them.
This show basically made me interested in the thor comics(I ended up reading hundreds of issues since).
We need to get EMH revived, it’s so good
I'd rather have a comic continuation and allow Yost to write it like he did the EMH comic tie ins. Each issue would work as if it were an episode.
This show is the reason why I'm a huge fan of Thor.
You’re preaching to the choir friend!
Side note: I also liked how this show handled Jane as a paramedic, it gives her that fearlessness and also sticking with her medic roots from the original comics!
@@katielee7897 Glad am not the only one who likes what they have done to this version of Jane Foster.
The first two Thor movies in the MCU really highlight how much the MCU has needed to backtrack in order to embrace the myth ical and absurd of the typical comic book.
I completely forgot Odin tells Loki that they aren't "gods" in the first movie, but then Hela makes it clear that she sees her and her siblings as gods.
The attempt to be "realistic and gritty" works for Captain America and Iron Man, but that exact formula is why the first two Thor movies were boring and why we haven't gotten a really good Hulk movie
Speaking of Hela, the MCU screwed up not only the comic mythos but the ORIGINAL Norse mythology as well by having her be Thor's sister.
When, in reality...she is ACTUALLY Thor's niece (not to mention one of Loki's children)
I actually loved the first two Thor movies. Ragnorak was probably more fun but not a good Thor movie
Ragnorok was a bloody terrible film. It turned Thor into a joke and ruined Hela and Surtur
@@zemox2534 Yeah, it was really bad. Made fun of the magical and alien nature of Thor instead of embracing it.
@@soar123 Especially the first Thor, great adaptation. Back when Loki was an actual threat.
Another reason why I love this Thor because he was funny, and he wasn't stupid and dumb... and he had wisdom and he was loyal asf🙌🏾
Marvel: STOP TRYING WE AREN'T GETTING IT BACK
Yostverse fans: THEN YOU SHALL NOT GET PEACE
One of the reasons I like EMH Thor is the same reason I like the Japanese version of Jack Atlas from Yugioh 5Ds.The commitment to theatrical dialogue. The regal way in which they speak adds a layer of depth to the those type of characters.
That voice and way of speaking is why I can't see any other va do thor. This version is just 2 good.
@@neospiderman2165 exactly
@@neospiderman2165 i think they even brought back the voice actor for Ultimate Alliance 3 to do Thor again. Recognized his voice instantly.
@@neospiderman2165
Same here. Wasserman has, for me, grown be the _definitive_ voice for Thor.
What is this layer of depth you speak of? How does it affect his character/ psychology?
What I loved most about this show's version of Thor's mythology and that of other Marvel Animated pieces like Hulk Vs. and Tales of Asgard is the fact that they get ALL the fantasy elements just right.
The Dwarves and Elves aren't "similar" like so called scholars assume, the magic feels believable, the realms all feel awe-inspiring and the villainous threats all truly feel intimidating.
Meanwhile; the MCU screwed up Asgard in the worst ways, they turned the Dark Elves into Star Trek dropouts, the realm of Nidavilir doesn't exist (along with all the dwarves...except for Dinklege) and they've now turned Loki into (as Eda from the Owl House would say) a "bad but sad boy" (strong emphasis on the sad part.)
Lastly, EMH managed to give us a fan favorite character the MCU has failed to bring in even ONCE; namely Beta Ray Bill, the bearer of the REAL Stormbreaker (not whatever Hemsworth uses)
That's probably a good thing. Kevin would find some way to ruin Bill just like he ruined Hulk and Thor.
@@zemox2534 Yeah, you're definitely right.
@@zemox2534
Stop saying "ruined". I don't think you know what that means.
Isn't that what the character development for Loki is for?
"Lastly, EMH managed to give us a fan favorite character the MCU has failed to bring in even ONCE; namely Beta Ray Bill"
I think he's rumored to appear in Love and Thunder.
Thor was an amazing part of this show but for me the real standout character was definitely Black Panther. It made me unbelievably excited to see him come to the MCU eventually, and idk how anyone else feels but what little we got to see of him before Chadwick's passing just made me feel like it was OK nothing bad but nothing amazing either. Would love to hear anyone else's thoughts about Black Panther from the show or MCU
I’m definitely down to talk about Black Panther soon!
BP is good in the MCU but I do agree they somewhat took away that cool, calm, mysterious factor to him. He always two steps ahead in this show. Loyal but always thinks of Wakanda as well. His smarts were given to his sister which is fine imo. Love BP and Hawkeye's friendship in this show.
It’s funny, his few moments of wisdom and self-actualization he shows at the end of Civil War were closer to who we saw in EMH, than he ever showed in his own movie.
Black Panther in the MCU was a letdown compared to EMH. Nothing against Chad, but his movie wasn’t that great and Killmonger was more of an engaging character than Black Panther.
@@thechad4485 He was better as a supporting character in other movies than he was the star in his own. A true shame.
I found it odd how the MCU first tried to make Thor not a god….but then in phase 4 they literally add them in and is now adding Egyptian gods….so is Thor a god again?
It seems so, but who knows!
See, this is why I always felt like Ragnarok did not, in fact, "fix," or, "save," Thor as a character in the MCU. It was a better movie than Dark World, arguably more enjoyable than Thor (2011), but was not, in the ways that I see as important, truly a Thor movie. Because even now I don't think that the MCU ever got over the simple embarrassment at the very concept of what Thor is as a character. It started with that irritating line in Thor, "You see magic and science as different things, but where I come from, they're one and the same." It's the same embarrassment that caused the original X-Men film to quip, "What would you prefer, yellow spandex?"
You can't tell a good story about a character if you're too busy being embarrassed by the fundamental premise of the character or some element in their source material or any other factor. You have to take a character and their world seriously- and honestly, I would say Phase Three was when Marvel really stopped doing this; taking entirely the wrong lesson from the things GotG did right. But that's a whole other rant, and I have somewhere I should be getting to.
This was a great video.
Yeah barely seeing Thor in the 90's and finally seeing him in Ultimate Avenger's, which is a good topic for another video, allowed me to see some of Thor.
It was hard to understand what Thor brought to the table instead of power, but now understanding that it was to humble him and show him their was more to the universe then just battling.
Another video topic would be why Cap and Thor were mostly absent from the 90's, while other heroes got their time to shine
I like MCU Thor, this show is what really made interested in the Thor mythos.
Also want to say earth mightiest heroes was the best show and interpretation of the avengers in all media
I hope the #savetheyostverse will succeed
Me too
I would rather give Yost more creative control, and continue the show as a comic continuation. Don't have to worry about budget or unnecessary censorship.
I am a new YostVerse fan, having recently becoming one about 2 or 3 years ago and I still am. I hope Marvel does the right thing and brings back this universe. I hope they show the Asgard War with Surtur too. Maybe even introduce Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet storyline.
I mean, the guy is literally a warrior through and through. Death and war is petty much a regular thing in Asgard. Even if things seem hopeless, Thor always try to fight through till the very end. He also is a very powerful demi god that can go toe to toe with characters like The Hulk and even Mrs. Marvel.
While MCU's Thor honestly feels like he is just a background character and his charaterization wasn't that really great in the films. Just like The Hulk, the MCU turned Thor's character into a literal joke character. And that's not a good thing in my honest opinion.
I wouldn't say that.
And how is someone a "background character" when he's a main player in 7 (soon to be 8) freaking films?! 3/4 of which are his solo ones.
Thor wasn't portrayed very well in his first movies, and, the moments he got to shinenfrom the audience perspective, are his comedic moments
@@andresantoniovalencia1257 Shame how they did MCU Thor dirty
Honestly a amazing video it always feels like being God is in background not a major part of his character
Similarly to what people do to villains change them until they are more serious but lessens the character like whiplash
Emh thor is the best version of animated thor. He feels godly and magical and is smart , not just a hammer swinging brute. Avengers assemble cartoon thor has many impressive feats but is a plot device and jobber.
For Midgard!!!
I love that line.
Great video. This Thor is certainly the best on screen adaptation we’ve seen so far.
Thank you again for all of this, I know a year ago I couldn’t believe Avengers EMH could get so much love.
If Thor came back, I'd love to see him wearing some regular people clothes, trench coat, tee-short, jeans, beard, ponytail, I feel it fits him really well.
I love how EMH Thor isn't this tall, muscular guy, but instead an *absolute UNIT*
If I work for Marvel Animations as a Producer and Voice Actor, I would like to do Marvel Knights in the Yostverse.
Honorable, loyal, and brave, Thor best represented the values of the warrior class of ancient Germany and Scandinavia. Thor was the oldest and most powerful son of Odin, the ruler of the Norse gods called Aesir.

Thor was my favorite hero by far watching EMH. There was this moment in the series, during Ultron's second attack in season 2, where Ultron plans to replace the Avengers with his bots. There was this whole scene where the Avenger bots confront Thor and fight him, and you can see just how confused and heartbroken Thor is finding out that his fellow Avengers do not like/need him, and would rather destroy him. Of course they arent the real Avengers, but you see his pain, and he stands by his morals to not fight his fellow friends, no matter what. It made me cry watching it cause it felt raw, and I loved it.

If we ever get Earth’s Mightiest Heroes back, I want the first episode to be the Avengers fighting a whole bunch of their villains and to put the cherry on top, Thor should have a "Give ‘em the forecast” moment like Storm did in 97
Just to remind everyone that he is still the God of freakin’ Thunder
Great take. Awesome
Best Avengers Cartoon EVER!!!
Still disappointed they cancelled it😤😠😡😍😢😭
EMH’s Thor was my first introduction to the concept of a Himbo. (The big/tough, yet gentle and lovable guy, who isn’t too bright, but has enough practical intelligence, being especially good when it comes to manual labor or fighting, and high EQ in being the moral center and emotional support.)
MCU Thor just solidified it for me. (Especially in the later movies when they fully embrace his fun loving and goofy side).
I think EMH Thor is the perfect version of Thor.
The main thing that makes EMH great is that it does something the MCU refuses to do with a burning rage: EMH RESPECTS the characters. Thor can be very powerful without having to be a goofball. While MCU Hawkeye is like "I have a bow and arrows lol whats wrong with me", EMH Hawkeye is like "what else could I need?".
EMH lets characters be awesome without having to act like that's dumb or funny.
oohh this is awesome!
After Watching the latest Thor film, i can say this is the best version of thor
The scene in that one episode where all the impostor avengers gang up on thor to take him out and tell him to leave genuinely made me sad. Thor swore to serve the earth and to be their protector through anything. And Thor doesn't initially respond to this lashing out with angered. He's confused, saddened even that the earth he had grown so fond of is now telling him that they don't need him anymore. I legitimately felt bad for him in that scene.
The closest thing we'll get to another season of this show, other than the comics, is the anime Marvel Disk Wars. Which is kind of like Pokemon and Marvel combined. Great show!
When I recently canceled my disney+ service I answered their questionaire about how/why I would consider returning and mentioned (twice) that a third season of EMH would do it. This may be another avenue to pursue..?
Nice idea!
…….i think you're on to something pal!
Earth’s Mightiest Heroes worked period.
I think a solid plan b would be to ask for any scripts written back then to be released so the fans can make the cartoon themselves or turn it into a comic if marvel won't.
Can you please do a top 10 best episodes of EMH?
Maybe I’ll do that to promote the next revival effort :)
Anytime Thor yells for Midgard 🤣🤣🤣
one thing I love about this version of Thor is that his status as the team powerhouse isn't just used to cheaply establish stakes by having him lose to every new villain like what happens to some characters (like superman) but instead have the villains have to plan around him
my favorite example is code red where after a virus is unleashed in avengers mansion, code red team is sent in to finish them off, but only winter soldier, doc samson, and falcon go in, the fourth member red hulk is tasked with fighting Thor to keep him from interfering, he's not supposed to beat Thor, just delay him long enough for the others to accomplish their mission
The fact we never got Amora the Enchantress in the MCU was a crime
{Carol Danvers and War Machine, get rekt}
- It is the end of the world. I [Spidey] am freaking out. Why aren't you [Cap] freaking out ?
- Because I can hear it.
- Hear what?
- Thunder.
{Thor bad ass entrance making you know who kneel twice.}
Shivers down me spine, mate.
And sure, it is a "power levels" kinda scene too, but I think power levels are actually important to this character. The original, whatever Marvel been doing with him after V2's ending is another story for another time. Lee introduced Thor to be his most powerful Earthly hero - a literal god, even among super-heroes. And the narrative that he constructed, and I would say perfected shortly after by Simonson, about an arrogant god-prince whose arrogance is well substantiated by his great power and feats even among gods, second only to his even grander god-king and all-father and other godheads, it doesn't fucking work if every Joe in the universe/nine realms with a gimmick or a random chance powering accident or an entire species/sub species can punk his ass. EMH seems to get that, and understand it doesn't need to power up everyone to make them important, interesting or relevant or just to please that sort of rabbid fanboy we both know who we I am talking about. They can have that Thor essence intact, even if he doesn't go through the whole Donald Blake situation, and keep the other characters relevant and interesting and important.
5:10 elf: You fought well today archer, it's an honor to meet my end beside you.
in the Avengers series based on the MCU, when Thanos first attacks earth h said said: "if i cant hit you with the hammer, i'll hit the hammer WITH YOU!" really like that line...
They did right by Thor , and I enjoyed this version of him
4:36 best line ever
I love Thor cause how his lore fuses sci-fi and divine/magic
EMH did a lot of things right. One of the best animated shows ever, period. I miss that show.
This version of Thor in my opinion is the best on screen version of Thor and it's not even close, it just handles the character and his comic book mythos so much better then what the MCU ended up doing.
Vary rarely do I feel any of the grandeur of what makes Thor who he is in the MCU, instead were given a Thor that acts more like a Spiderman or a Deadpool there's rarely any seriousness in the character anymore and his solo movies don't feel like like a Thor story at all such as Thor: Ragnarok feels like just another Gaurdians of the galaxy movie which personally left me rather confused and angry especially with the passage of time.
While on the other hand in EMH Thor feels like a Mythic hero that just walked out of some old story and the stories that focus on him and his villians border on apocalyptic for the other avengers just look at Malakith and the casket of eternal winter
Well said this is why the show was unlike any other!
My man, you're right on the money with this video. #RestoreTheYostVerse.
Anyways, the EMH iteration of Thor is probably my iteration of Thor outside of comics.
Thor should have his own video game or animated series
What I really love about this Thor and EMH is how unapolagetically Jack Kirby they made Asgard and magic, with costumes and sets being very much his style.
I have a special challenge:
Since we're all campaigning for a continuation of this series, who will be the voice actors for the new coming characters of seasons three and four?
My personal opinion, the voice actor of Magneto from Wolverine and the X-men remains but my biggest hottake is that for the one episode where Kulan Gath appears they should spring to get none other than Mark Hamill to voice the sorcerer king. Also, one character voiced by Keith David, possibly the first Black Panther in ancient times.
Perhaps this would be my first video and my contribution to the playlist but I would like to hear your opinion on this matter
What I wished this Tor perhaps did more, was more happy to fight, and eat food, aligning more to his inspiration
However I still enjoy this Tor quite well, because he stands out, and feels unique amongst all the other characters on the screen.
Wonder if Marvel ever will make a version of him, where he's more alike to his inspiration from the Prose Edda
This will always be the best version of Thor to me. MCU one became a complete joke now. Great video as always 👍
I agree. This is the best Thor to me.

I’m thinking of writing a fanfic where Thor in the primary cannon is more like this version of Thor and Thor from Norse Mythology. Honestly, the films should have been less so Sci-fi and more high fantasy.
I miss this series 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
That surtur in EMH is still making me wait even now
Different show but my favorite scene from avengers assemble is when thanos uses the time stone on thor and all it does is makes him stronger so he turns him back to normal
You should talk about the Avengers EMH Tie-In comics set in the universe of the show - less than 12 issues I believe with original ideas - I loved them as a kid but then they just did comics which were still images of the show
"the world is ending, why aren´t you freaking out cap?"
"because i can hear it spiderman; THUNDER"
Last thing just made a short first time so really bad editing bits it’s supporting the yost verse / personal theory on spectacular Spider-Man
So because of your videos I decided to watch the show it is really good however you forgot to mention one small detail the fricking amazing intro song I normally skip intro songs but holy cannoli I could never skip it because it was so good
It’s a massive banger 😎
Yikes. I actually think it's one of the worst theme songs ever. "Up" there with Star Trek's Enterprise series.
I'm sure EMH was way before the MCU films
Late to the party and just spitballing, but I bet you could get Disney's attention with large enough watch parties of EMH on their streaming service now that it's one of their Marvel legacy series. Meet them where they live, you know?
I actually used to have my own team that tried to make S3, but Disney sent us a letter.
What did that letter say?
@@sahilhossain8204 Basically, it was a CnD. If we continue, we might get sued.
great review. As I said on other sites, Thor has been a God perhaps sometimes under other names for as long as men feared Thunder and the invention of the Hammer. the rest of these guys are just the Imagination of some nice American boys in NY
that episode were he was nerfed was a strong magic user the enchantress so basically magic can probably the only thing that effected him lols
The MCU needs to make a movie that really throws thor a gauntlet, make him feel God like, the closer he gets to the Odin force the closer he gets to being a real god
Earth's Mightiest Heroes Thor is my favorite version of the character, along with the Hulk, Nick Fury and Hawkeye. The show itself was just great.
Brother, I WOULD BE TREMENDOUSLY THANKFUL if yoi at least consider making a video like this abou Armored Adventures Mandarin 💚💛
Can you make a video about Masters of Evil? I think that the show made them very good!
I love how Thor had different costumes he was looking G.Q.
I just had to comment again. EMH gets Thor so right, that it even affects its semi spiritual successor avengers assemble. Now, AA is nowhere near as good in that or other regards. But you see the EMH borrowed DNA shine through at times, like when the avengers fight Infinity Gauntlet Thanos and he ages everyone with the time gem until they die and turn to dust, except for Thor ofc who just gets more and more OP.
What I am saying is, their portrayal of him is so good that other lesser works elevate themselves the moment they draw influence from it, because then it is borrowing from excellence..
MCU Thor can be too goofy sometimes. I like how EMH Thor is more serious. But I still like the Alien interpretation of Thor though. It's more realistic. Maybe both Thor versions should combine. 😂😂
You mean EMH Thor is more serious?
@@MTV2O2O yes😂😂
@@markstriker925 i don't like the alien interpretation for Thor i like him just the way he is
@@markstriker925 i don't like realistic things especially on Thor
@@seyio1717 ok that's fair enough.
Emh thor is my favorite thor
I think I have an idea for you to do Spider-Man no home and other mcu movies s character analysis for all 3 Spider-Men and you can and also just add your opinion on the movies could I also ask why the story in Spider-Man no way home is as good as Spider-Man 2 story and (personal opinion a story that had a mix of Spider-Man one and Spider-Man 2 story )thats not just fan service only if you feel the same way
This show was amazing. Everyone felt powerful in theor own way without being nerfed to hell. This version of Captain Marvel was fun and both Loki and Doom were appropriately portrayed as cunning and menacing.
This was the true definitive greatest Thor...
Comic Book Thor was made to be the one thing stronger than a Hulk and EMH made sure we knew that Thor was strong. When he arrived it wasn't just with a bolt of lightning we'd see storm clouds circling the sky and blanketing all of Manhattan. Thor as a superhero isn't just a powerhouse he's a literal force of nature and he rarely if ever felt like anything less in this show.
