Подскажите пожалуйста, есть ли разница кроме длины шины и цепи между моделями DUC101z и DUC150z ?

Been using the M12 hatchet since they came out with it, the 4ah battery gives it a little power boost so it doesn't cut out as easily, it's great for my line of work when I have to trim trees that have got a bit too close to the power lines, work recently bought us the m18 version, big power upgrade, you won't stall it under normal use, with its power and longer bar I turned in my top handle gas saw since I'll never use it over the milwaukee.

They really should come with micro light chains on these things like the Stihl version. Although for your average person the durability of the bigger chain might be better. 🤔

Thanks for this comparison and the vid o. The Stihl, Milwaukee and Makita. I was looking at the Makita comparing to the STHIl and Ryobi. The only reason I was considering the Ryobi is because I have a Ryobi not with extra batteries, so I thought would be most convenient, however, like the STHIL, it has to be manually oiled! I’m a gardener by trade and have to do lots of pruning in rural properties and the likes, so can’t be stopping to oil a chain every 5 minutes. And when Makita finally came out with there’s and noticed the oil reservoir, that just sold me.

Watching your channel, means I will buy another Makita tool, which means my wife will complain again, which means I will run off and seek peace and solitude in the garage and crack a beer. I bet I'm not the only bloke with this predicament. Perhaps your videos should come with a warning and a link to an online mental health service............... 🤪

Mate peace and solitude, with a beer and a power tool IS a solution for mental health concerns.

I have the 18 Milwaukee saw it's great , switched to a 12 inch bar from 10 still got plenty of power. but I would trade it in for a 40v Makita if they made one.

I've actually been waiting for this from Makita in the US for a while. I'm interested to see if it's light and small enough to take hiking. Could be an amazing assist for cutting firewood in the field!
I currently bring my circular saw on certain camping trips for woodcutting. Would love a lighter option with more cut capacity that can make it on longer trips.

Do you think this small 18v (duc150) is better for prunning vs the duc254 18v?

I would like to see how they go at cutting through dwv pipe (PVC) and how clean the cut would be. As currently when using a receipting saw it tends to chater a lot

I’ve had 2 different Makita DUC150Z 6” saws, the first going back after the safety failed after 3 uses. In addition the chain tightening mechanism failed.
The new one lasted 3 cuts before the tightening stopped working. I have to loosen off and tighten after each cut. It’s going back but this time for credit. All my other Makita gear is terrific.
Very disappointing as I really need this type of tool.

I've had my 18v for 2 years and use the crap out of it. Absolutely no issues whatsoever, I love this little saw.

These things are severely overpriced in my opinion. 100$ is the absolute maximum for such a kind of tool.
