  • Hudson's officially done and I'm about to ship him out!! I'm so excited!
    If you have any other prop ideas you want me to figure out and film, let me know! But this tutorial should work for all/most simple flat objects!

    • @freckledcatcreations
      @freckledcatcreations  4 роки тому +1

      oooh that's a tough one! Maybe you can search for 'orange transparent plastic sheets' and use that. It might be thin enough to cut. And using maybe EVA foam or felt on the edges of the visor ? If I ever have to make something like that i'll video it!

    • @freckledcatcreations
      @freckledcatcreations  4 роки тому +1

      Oh, absolutely! The difference is that youll make it with fur, and glue the magnet on the inside of the puff on the fur backing, instead of on the outside :3 make sure you have really strong magnets, faux fur is thick!

  • @jolttrontitan2755
    @jolttrontitan2755 4 роки тому

    Alright, so I am in the market for magnets and I went to K&J and I’m confused with two things. 1) What pull force do you feel is ideal? 2) What’s the catch with the pricing? I can buy two magnets for 60 cents but I can buy two hundred for less. What’s going on?

    • @freckledcatcreations
      @freckledcatcreations  4 роки тому

      I think they mean that if its 2 magnets, theyre 60 cents each, but if you buy 200, then they're, you know, like 30 cents each. so youre getting a discount on each one the more you buy! and the ones i use here are pretty good for small things like eyelids and props! if you have more than 1 layer of fur between the magnets i would go stronger. i forget what the pull force of these are, but if you search the magnet number d8h1 it should tell you! i would maybe go 2x stronger if theres two layers of fur between em.

  • @jeremyalcoo4503

    Where did you get the magnets from? Whenever I try to add some into my fursuit they aren't strong enough.

  • @tr4ff1cjam
    @tr4ff1cjam 3 роки тому

    Question: What kind of magnets do you need for this? The package you show in the video isnt very descriptive. Ive tested out some magnets I already have and they don't seem to work very well through fur. I need them to stick well through fur since im making ears that go back by putting magnets on the back of the ears, and the ears will want to pull themselves up.

    • @freckledcatcreations
      @freckledcatcreations  3 роки тому +1

      I thought I gave you all the info you needed there - they are K&J magnets, just search for the D8H1 kind on their site!
      if you need stronger ones, k&j have stronger ones on their site that go to 13lb pull force, even more! give em a look
