- A second look at the Schill now that I've played it more. I'd say it's good and worth getting if you have the resources, but that doesn't mean it's a "must have" cruiser at T7. If you can't get it, don't worry. It's fun, it's decent, and it's situational, but it's not the end of the world if you can't acquire it. I can't either.

The Schill is very good. Lots of fun to play and if ya got a healthy COMBO of resources to burn, or an obscene amount of Premium Days like I had, AND you're a fan of all cruisers that are German, then the Schill is for you.
If ya don't have the resources and/or not a fan of German cruisers, then this should be an easy pass...time for another PSA : just try not to act like a bunch of other insecure man-children who are swearing revenge on anyone who dares to appear in the Schill...it's ridiculous to be emotionally triggered by something that someone else has, that you can't afford, which is a you problem, strictly speaking.
I've seen teams blow matches out there over this melodrama, and its rather stupid, so don't be a Karen on the seas...keep them in your local Starbucks instead...😜
If you, the reader have the Schill, congrats are in order....
For anyone close to getting the Schill and just really has to have it - just sell some American tech tree ships and buy them back later.
Why American ones specifically? No others? Not British or German or Russian? Only American ships must be sold for profits? Makes sense I guess. Capitalism!
@@Xarkun Capitalism, yes. But also for trolling purposes since it's mostly the American kiddies that have issues around entitlement and FOMO. Most, but not all, of course. Taking shots at them is fun. Nothing against you mature Yanks at all.

I had a a lot of days and orders and that is what I used to get it. That being said I do not get high damage with it because of the low guns. Its a trophy ship for being a long time player. Now on the other hand I also have the Krisimi with deep water torps and do play it a lot. Very rare ship
Looks like a ship that performs well with the right positioning and skill...The average player would not benefit and perform in it!

It’s definitely a good ship, most of us are coping because the cost was absurd and a slap in the face. As far as if it’s worth the cost to YOU, that depends on your level of whale. If you say yes, it is worth it, please contact me for your next major purchase or investment. Real estate, home loan, automobile purchase/finance, precious metals, bridge to Manhattan, daughter’s wedding. Boy have I got a deal for you!
It's mediocre at best like the Graf Spee it's too outdated with it's contemporary ships.. Just a massive material dump! Two turrets isn't effective enough for cruisers in Tier 7 with a 20+ second reload! Who cares about reload boosters on a ship with two turrets when you'll have to show broadside to get any significant damage?
This ship is not a game changer and it's a complete waste of mats
600 dollars for this ship. Nah Ill pass.
The intent is not to entice a customer to spend $600...though Wargaming wouldn't say no either, the central intent was to appeal to the 4-5 year veteran players who have resources to burn.
But if I were you....I'd spend that $600....
@@georgyhot1 Hysterical, Wargaming themselves said, if you can't afford it, it's not for you. If you have to spend a single cent on that ship, it's not for you. It's for long time players who have an abundance of resources. Yes people who have the resources have most likely spent big bucks or spent alot of time in game in the past to acquire said resources. But the fact of the matter is. If you can't outright afford it, it's not for you.

Its a fun ship, the hate it recieves for being in my port is positively scrumptious. Get a full time jobs and pay all your bills on time kids and you too can blow your money on things that make you smile. 😊
My buddy and I have been playing since April of 2020 so we both had plenty of resources to spend on Schill. It’s a fun ship and I’d say it is really what the Siegfried should have been. While it has smaller guns, if you spec into penetration you can do consistent and high pen damage thanks to its better accuracy and you still have good secondary range and of course torpedoes. That being said, if you have to spend real money to convert currency to get it, I’d pass as there are a variety of good cruiser options at the tier
Ive had the separate experience. Pen angles feel awful for it. I feel like it should have had Odin’s guns more than Spee’s.
I just wish I could get this ship. Maybe they will put it in a Christmas crate someday and i could pull it:(
I really like this sort of ship, like Graf Spee. However the cost of admission is, to quote Marshal Lucky, just too fuckin' high!

I wish I had the Schill, but objectively speaking it’s worse than the other super cruisers of the tier, except for maybe Cherbourg. The armor is great but the guns are weak in comparison to the other super cruisers.
Ya know, my friend is on vacation and gave me permission to boost his WR(😂😂😂), but he has the Schill while I don't. I just wished he had all the good commanders...
To be honest, I'm not even excited about the Schill, Plymouth or Mainz are more fun (for me!!)
