I hope I get to go to Japan sometime soon and maybe eventually live there. From the fashion scene to the car scene to the overall culture it looks amazing there.
Issue is a lot of people have the same idea and find it to be super isolating/lonesome once they more there since it’s a very conservative and private country culture wise
You say that now but a lot of people don’t want to live in Japan I visit Japan before covid and spoke to some of the residents alot of depressing story’s
I love your traveling partner forgot his name sorry but he is very respectful and doesn't try to steal your camera from you and seems like a supportive guy overall.
Hey! I was wondering what part of Tokyo you were in, because I’m going there soon for a trip and wanted to see if I could get some sneaker deals like you.
I went there almost every year and my tips is just be confident and talk to them with English. Add some additional hand signs and also prepare google translate. You will get there! 💪🏻✨
If ur just going to stay in Tokyo area, English and a little bit of google translate is honestly good enough. Most popular shopping areas will have staff with passable basic English skills and almost all restaurants have English versions of their menus. Also keep ur passport with u if ur shopping, in many stores it will be tax free if u buy anything over 40 bucks.
In case you're still in Japan, you don't need your passport to buy kicks! They were probably trying to explain that you buy them tax free! But since you didn't have your passport, you were gonna have to pay the tax too..
Actually 2nd Street IS from Japan. The heat in Taiwan stores is also ridiculous. But also the prices are high even on those really worn. However there are some good finds.
You picked a good time to shoe shop in Tokyo. The exchange rate is good now. You shouldn't find fakes in the boutiques, it's against the law to sell fakes in japan. Is this Shibuya? Go easy on the Chu-hi's😂
$20 sneaker collection: international! 30-45 min videos every two weeks where you do this series in the cities you go and with that time you actually have time to sell local or restore the shoes if they are in bad condition. Imagine the sneaker fund in a 2nd street in another city or country like these 😱 keep up the dope vids Seth. 🫡
Curious if bigger sizes like 14s were hard to find there. Tokyo looks like an awesome place to visit. Sneakerhead, or not. Seems like it’d be a good idea to pack light and leave room for all new pick ups. That was crazy!
I feel like the Sup 5 colorway might not be very fashionable in Japan? The desert camo would be kickin in Phoenix Suns! Doubled your money at least Seth, nice!
I find these sneaker head videos amazing on UA-cam like people be buying garbage quality shoes from these giant brand for $500-$600 and you can get a quality pair of shoes for like a couple houndred and a few more you can get shoes custume like at those prices you could get like any shoe custume made out of quality materials instead of cheap it blows my mind but always interesting to watch
it's illegal to sell anything fake here, specially in stores. However the exchange rate benefits the USD right now so it's a good time to make large purchases.
The thing is in Asia sneakers with small size are worth more so the big size are not rare because of people out there feet and in the europe/america we have big feet so it’s the same thing but in a other way
I went last month and saw a lot of crazy shoes. The issue I found is that the cool stuff was really beaten and worn and still going for an expensive price. Admittingly still cheaper than Ebay and the used market but when I go to a thrift I typically don't expect to spend near the used going rate. Just my opinion though
Yeah and it's kind of a stretch calling the places he's going thrift stores. Thrift stores don't really exist much in Japan. It's all curated resale shops.
Awesome vlog I wish I could hit multiple likes on the video:) my ambush af1 signed by you is the most valuable sneaker in my entire collection tbh!! I wish I was wearing my Chicago 1s though. Thank you!!!
As someone who lives in Japan, props for being respectful of the country and culture.
Yo yo bro
Cool, but why the fuck do you need a passport to buy something??? Shit's mad dumb.
I believe it is illegal to sell fake products in any store in Japan.. even in thrift stores...
And I don't think Japanese would do such a dishonest thing
@@riseuplight 😂
Thats a good law.
You’re correct
It’s illegal to sell fake products anywhere bro
One of those genuine nuts and crazy sessions on your sneaker hunt sess! ‘Clean and Fire’ videos that I love to watch! Keep it coming !😊
Love how advertising in Japan looks. The neon signs, the many palettes of color, ugh ✨
I hope I get to go to Japan sometime soon and maybe eventually live there. From the fashion scene to the car scene to the overall culture it looks amazing there.
The car scene is absolutely nuts

Didn't expect to see a Tokyo episode! It's a shoppers heaven. Also good to take advantage of the weak yen.
Maybe my fav video of all time, thx for taking us on the ride, i need to get to Japan and bring an extra suitcase!!
I was in Japan a month ago. Went to all the sneaker stores as a US size 12.5. I was laughed out of every single one of them. Came home empty handed.
I think 2nd Street is jp company. I’m from jp and almost each city has one. the Harajuku one has the best selection of kicks, anyway.
I love your traveling partner forgot his name sorry but he is very respectful and doesn't try to steal your camera from you and seems like a supportive guy overall.
did you go to the 2nd street in harajuku? I was there not so long ago cool!
This video was pretty cool. Tokyo is dope. Take a shot when Seth says "crazy" everyone. 🍶
❤🙏Bro please reply, what sbeaker protector spray do u suggest for air force 1 white leatherish shoe
Dope! I’m going to Tokyo next year in May. I definitely know what spots I need to check out, thanks to your video.
I'm headed to boston for a week, what sneaker spots do you recommend hitting up? Or things to do in general?
Hey! I was wondering what part of Tokyo you were in, because I’m going there soon for a trip and wanted to see if I could get some sneaker deals like you.
That " not soda " bit was hilarious 😂😂
How did you find the language barrier in Japan? I'd love to go but its always put me off
Crazy, nuts even.
It’s not a big deal if you’re just traveling through. There are so many options to help you get around.
I went there almost every year and my tips is just be confident and talk to them with English. Add some additional hand signs and also prepare google translate. You will get there! 💪🏻✨

I lived in another city and I'd say 1% spoke and understood English

i can’t find the authenticator in the unboxed app
Can I ask why you need passport to purchase? I’m going to Japan in may and really want to sneaker shop as well. Great video!!
Here in the Philippines I found a Nike airmax sensation from the thrift store for 60 dollars, when I check it from stock x brand new is 500 dollars.
Are you guys going to be at sneaker con Chicago
*$256 for those Sup 5’s?! That’s considered a “grail” to me. I’ve been tryna find those for years for a steal. Hard to find a 13*

Which area of the 2nd street is the jordan 5 supreme?
What 2nd Street was that? Definitely interested in heading up there from Yokosuka to check them out.
I MISSED YOU!!!
I'm Japanese and always watching your video on TV UA-cam app!

Hey Seth. Does shoes in 2nd street comes with box?
It's funny that you saw those supreme 5s, I was in that same exact store a week ago and they were still sitting there.
Congrats! but damn u had drop those preme 5s, to grab those FTC dunks, they're one of the best SBs quality wise and design. Great video like always.
Do they deduct the tax at the counter when u purchase the sneakers? Or do u have to do it at the airport?
That was a crazy 2nd street. Ive been getting good pickups at platos closetsand uptown cheapskate. Any suggestions on other stores similiar?
Yo bro this swap to cop thing sounds really great I’ve been wanting to use it for a while..

I went to tokyo in 2018 and I wear a size 13. No luck where I went. Most stores went to size 11.
@@mrmatthewwilliamsify I figured…
The highest size I’ve seen is size 12. Now if you go to Harajuku they might keyword might have a bigger size but you won’t find it off rip.
i feel like everyones going to japan rn, im going in like 3 weeks right after school ends, so excited

I see you Seth getting recognized in Japan😎
2nd street actually started off in Japan
I had no idea!
Can you provide any additional information on why you required your Passport to purchase shoes?
Second Street is Japanese! They started in Takamatsu.
Thats crazy I went to almost every location in this video a few months ago

My stomping grounds! Wish I was paid in dollars these days. Many deals if you are flexing the greenbacks.

Yeahhhhhh, I can’t shop with you 😂. “You should get those”.

The thing is in Asia sneakers with small size are worth more so the big size are not rare because of people out there feet and in the europe/america we have big feet so it’s the same thing but in a other way
I wish the american sneaker market was the same as the Japanese market 😭😭
Could always ship back to America if you find something you can’t fit in your luggage!
Anybody else noticed the “Jiraiya Sensei” footwear

I wish supreme would do another foamposite. Just reverse the colorway 🙏🏾
Can you drop your itinerary for this video please?

You could've bought everything you wanted and buy an extra luggage case for all your new shoes to take home with you.
