While working at footlocker, Jordan 11’s were one of the only shoes discounts could not be used on. Workers couldn’t even use their employee discount on any pair of 11’s, lows or highs. I’m not sure if Nike stores apply by the same rule though.
When there’s a “XX% Off Entire Wall” sale at Nike, it applies to any shoe on the wall in question. In my experience, discounts are only completely denied if a shoe is set on the floor at MSRP, and even then there’s the 15% off account activation coupon. As for employee discount, in-store shopping has no restrictions (that I’m aware of), but online you may have to wait it out a bit, as certain shoes will be full-price price for employees due to popularity (blue invincible 3’s and low-top pandas come to mind) or if a shoe/garment is exclusive to SNKRS (employee discount is incompatible with SNKRS). If a shoe isn’t selling fast enough, Nike will eventually lift the SNKRS restriction, or even in the case of the recent elephant print 1’s and cement grey 2’s, lift the restriction the day after release if they feel like it
